But I look at it this way....a man having a child outside matrimony and keeping the wife in the dark is directly equivalent to a woman doing the same, i.e having a child outside and not telling the man as well. Although it is rare.
Now when a woman gets impregnated by another man while she's in a marriage with her husband and she tricks the husband into believing that child is his and he cares for, nurtures and passes his wealth to this perfect stranger , this particular crime has no equivalent to any sin of in matrimony or paternity a man can do.
It is as different as their reproductive system . That kind of crime is down to biology and only females have the biological make up to commit such crime. There's just no male equivalent.
If I should comment on your post, at least the strange child is the man's true and biological child and there's no paternity fraud involved there
How on earth do you equal that with a woman deceiving a man with a bastard from nowhere and having the man name him and train him as his and when he dies, this perfect stranger inherits his property and later relocate to find his true father?
Keep the discourse on paternity fraud and that's one crime only woman can commit.
Toneypen247: Lol. All these Agbado and Mikano boys can rejoice now because they have seen something that will make Peter Obi lose the election. Confused lot
Someone should explain to these confused lots that there is no essence in paying tax in an area you stopped doing business with a long time ago. Simply put that the business is no longer functioning there. This happened about three years ago, but Agbado and Mikano boys are already salivating thinking that Peter Obi is like their principals who have a skeleton in their cupboards
Senomie: Nigerians are equivalant to rats wen trying to compare them with the lions of scam, make una no dey drag position with krygyztan, turkiye, russia, romania, brazil and pakistan, venezuela infact even South Africans scam pass nigerians All of una boys still dey kindergarten level of yahoo, if una jam real yahoo una head go catch fire, infact una nervous system go just shut down cos of the exposure to perplexing, brain draining and incoherent information
I wish the company could offer me one on a hire purchase. I believe say I fit deliver money every week depending on how many passengers wey I see carry, and if agbero no disturb me.
ngBuild: Rubbish rubbish, have you ever been issued a receipt in the clearance thread after a purchased is made? and does the seller run a business outfit that he should issue a receipt. You saw the chats where a concession was reach and all that remains is for delivery to be made, the seller even stated he will deliver tomorrow.... How you guys defend fraud is the reason this country is always in crisis.
talk2odim: As much as I don't like meddling in nairaland affairs, it is important to correct certain impressions so wrong knowledge is not passed down. Every contract is required to have 3 elements; an offer, an acceptance and a consideration. The presence of these makes it binding and enforceable! In this case, there was an offer, there was an acceptance (whether grudgingly or not) and a consideration (which here was the full payment of the agreed sum), so automatically the contract became binding whether written or not and is enforceable. In real terms, if gazzuzz was to pursue the legal route, he would be suing for repossession and wrongful sale of his property-YES, HIS PROPERTY!!!
I quoted you because of the bolded. He does not really need the receipt provided he can establish his offer was accepted and evidence that he made payment (which doesn't even need to be in full to be considered as a consideration. That it was in full, even makes it easier.)
People get away with a lot of things here and need to begin to understand the implications of their actions. My 2 cents
For example, You can use N3,000 to cook a restaurant standard soup minus Eba. Then you keep eating the same soup over and over. But with that N3,000, you can eat rice, okro soup, eat melon, eat bitterleaf soup at different times plus garri in a restaurant or mamaput depending on your location...if we are to assume a plate of food to be N500. You can add extra if you want.
Notwithstanding the gas, water, stress and time used to cook that food. And imagine warming a pot of soup over and over for someone without a refrigerator or electricity let alone the cost of fuel and maintenance of generator if inclusive.
But if two or more persons are involved, cooking is preferable.
It is worthy of note that the criterion for judgement here is relating eating out to cooking considering a particular amount of money.
Freethinker87: Agbadorians have started with their cut-and-join video propaganda again.
What actually happened was that PO interacted with students about the importance of education and how his administration will solve the challenges in education. During the QA session, a young man asked PO 4 questions. His last question was about how PO plans to change the narrative that education is a scam. Obi answered that particular question by saying that education is the biggest investment any nation could give its citizens and that education is not a scam. Even after answering all his questions, PO also gave a professor in the audience a chance to speak about the importance of education.
Agbadorian cut PO's answers out and somehow this edited clip found its way to the frontpage. I'll be posting the unedited clip shortly. The days of cut-and-Join propaganda are over, we are not in 2014 anymore.
Who knows what she has gone through, to use this as a last attempt to gain attention, I noticed she complained about the police not taking her serious whenever she lodges complain, and I can understand why they would be dismissive of her claims.
But from the depths of her loneliness her soul beckons for help. From anywhere ... Just a little help!!!
That woman needs someone to get close to her and give her some care and attention. She indeed needs some help as swiftly as possible. A rehabilitation would go a long way in helping her mental health.
chaseblack: This is something I have been pondering over since. I believe the government and by extension the CBN are clueless in economy policy and this made our naira on a free fall.
How many times have you seen lower denominations recently, like #5 #10 #20 etc It's very hard to see talkless of coins. Therefore when we come with our usual 'fuel is expensive so we must increase price of goods' or 'dollar has risen so cost of importing goods will rice' mantra, the sellers have no choice than to round up prices to the nearest hundreds or thousands because no one will want to waste time looking for change.
In developed country you can get an item for $1. 2 cents so if there is inflation the seller will probably add another 5cents or so but in Nigeria things increase by about 50% or 100% even. A bread of #100 will suddenly be #150 when the cost of production has not increased by 50% the sellers have already increased price by 50% because smaller denominations aren't available.
Small denominations should be abundant in circulation maybe this will curb the sudden astronomical increase in price.
julaion: You're suffering from ODS: Obi Derangement Syndrome.
Symptoms include always * talking about Peter Obi morning, afternoon and night * Obsessing about Peter Obi even when engaging in coitus with a partner * Seeing Peter Obi everywhere you go, even in the toilet *Looking for any opportunity to talk and criticize Peter Obi, even in the church or in the bedroom *Seeing everything Peter Obi does as bad, while at the same time seeing everything an unrepentant mafia boss with dementia, does as fantastic *Speaking and understanding tongues that are not known to the holy spirit eg: Babblu babla bubu.
If you're showing two or more of the aforementioned symptoms listed above, you should immediately seek help at Yabaleft; failure to do so can lead to extreme paranoia or mental breakdown after February 25.
truthsayer009: My question is why is it always a Relative or Brother or Aunty or Friend that goes in 3 - 6 months and now building a house? It is never any of you but your relatives. Why don't you travel there and start building a house in 6 months too or is your head not blessed to travel and build your own house. Are you under any sort of curses?
You guys never have successful stories of building houses yourselves but for someone else. Kontinu!
SirJerrie: My brother... YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE WORRIED IF THE WOMAN YOU INTEND TO LIVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WITH BEHAVES LIKE YOUR EX-FIANCEE...
Being OPEN wouldn't cost her anything if she has nothing to hide. It won't cost her anything to pick up and tell you "Babe don't worry, I'm currently at so so place"
Meeting by "11:45PM" And she couldn't pick-up her phone to let you know she's okay wherever she was at... Someone was getting d1cked down and you were getting worried!!!
DON'T LET THESE SERIAL CHEATS HERE ON NAIRALAND MAKE YOU FEEL YOU'RE INSECURE
YOU ARE NOT. Your reason for being "WORRIED" seems genuine.
SHE HELPED YOU! OUT OF FEAR OF GETTING CAUGHT, SHE BAILED!! YOU SHOULD THANK GOD FOR NOT LETTING YOU DIE BEFORE YOUR TIME!! COUNT YOUR LOSS AND MOVE ON!!!
YoungLionken: Some men will never learn, no matter what we say about SIMPs..
On countless notes, women don't respect/love men that love them more. You do so as a man, they see it as obsession..
Three months isn't enough to make someone your wife, don't be an idiot for love's sake..
Girls in lekki can't be fully trusted..
The poor security situation in the country, is a enough justification for your call (11pm), except an irresponsible person, every loved one would be worried and place calls across..
There's nothing wrong in you calling her boss ( based on what she told you before leaving home), if things went south, you would be the first everyone would suspect and call ..
So you mean your supposed wife would have been away from home by that time??
I understand virtual or foreign (jet lag) meetings, but certainly not a physical meeting (when she's not a security personnel)..
If you were man enough, the issue would have been "where she slept or was as at that dangerous/unholy hour", not "calling her boss"..
Hope she's not the major provider, because with the way you're sorrowful, as if you lost someone relevant to you. I can only but imagine the many tears on your cheek, while apologizing to her: "don't leave me ", lol..
Dear men, start having plan B when a woman threatens break up at every slightest provocation...
Franzinni: Hehe guy I know how you feel but to be honest you messed up big time, you know a woman loves to be chased but e get when she need to rest from all the running, alot of young men don't know and they keep chasing who nor dey run. ... You had her but now you have lost her forever becasue even if she takes you back and forgives you, you would not have the masculine frame and trust me in little or no time she will dump you patapata.
My advice is give her space ... Let her breath small, you can't choke another person and be asking them why they are choking goddammit!
You even went as far as calling her boss ...Omo you dey love puppy love ...wake up ! Wake your self the f up!! If you love her, you would be mature and apologize, then respect her decisions and give her space... Guy nah woman she be, if you play it right she will come back to you but if you think you can beg your way to her heart back you will only become repulsive and simply cheap.
Man up and shift your focus to your hustle even if your mind go her place ... Endure, resist and persist. After some days you will adjust and then you would be able to see clearly .
I have been in your shoes ... When I was in secondary school, I loved a girl so much ( I thought I did ) that I would wake up write a love letter, then walk like 30 miles to her school before she gets to school and wait to give her the letter, in my mind, that was the price to pay for love but in reality I was only being a pest, and a repulsive creature.
Let her breath... Your perception of love might not be her reality.
Franzinni: haha sexuality he says ... So what do you say for pedophiles? Let me hear your twisted double standard excuse ... Mr book worm .. I bet the only time anything gets into your head is when your are on your knees in front of another man's dick!
Please I don't care what her sexuality is that should be her private business. But she is a woman finito!
pocohantas: I am even shocked someone is Cc-ing me on this. I would never understand why they do that. I have said it here that except you are a Linda Ikeji, you would crumble. Even Linda wanted the man involved but he refused.
Asides the fact that a child needs a balance of both parents, it is TOXIC to restrict the child’s access to the other parent. Sometimes they grow to idolise the absent parent. They would convince themselves they would have been better or stable adults if the absent parent was around.
I see SMs every other time on social media. Many of them end up begging for giveaway and playing the single mother card to evoke sympathy. Some end up dating married men. Some cannot get to their full potentials because they are playing dad and mum while working to feed this child (or children). Get the man involved! If he was a bad partner, was he also a bad father? They are two different things.
Racoon: Tinubu and his retinue of senseless urchins and miscreants thinks these are the era of black & white TV that any lies and propaganda can be shoved down the throat of the public to be swallowed.
Meanwhile, the stupid people are totally avoiding campaigning with the disastrous records the Buhari- led APC Tinubu claimed he foisted upon this once thriving 3rd fastest growing economy in the world.
Pharaoh4rin: This my guy ehn, we don enter police cell for four different states and we don enter guardroom taya. But in 2015, he said he was going to vote buhari. I refused. We argued, and I told him that if he vote buhari,, it'll mark the end of our friendship. He went ahead, and I cut him off. Till now we could not reconnect. I honor my word above myself and he knows it.
PussyMiners: Lol ...You are kind of ignorant probably because you are not in the system. How much do you think all those big hospitals on lagos island charge for complex surgeries ?? A private facility in Owerri, one of the best in Nigeria had 3 open heart surgeries 2 weeks ago and each patient paid 10 million naira. Imagine if it was Lagos Island or Abuja .
While I agree that you don't make such all the time , but you do 1 of those cases at least once in a week . Neuro and Cardiothoracic cases actually cost a lot.
I remember seeing a thread on nairaland about a man whose wife entered one chance in Lagos. She landed in a private hospital on the island. The man claimed to spend almost 600k. When I saw the pictures of his injured wife , I doubted his story and felt the 600k was a lie judging from the injuries sustained. Not until I got a job on the island as a medical officer Omo , I weak .
There was this boy we managed for a febrile illness. He spent 4 to 5 days on admission and their bill was almost a million naira . Treating that child in Ibadan where I worked earlier would not cost more than 50k .
So , it is very very very possible for a surgeon ( especially orthopaedic/Neuro/ Cardiothoracic surgeons )to make more than 2million on a case .
Lannister360: It's because you're not a man, if you're a man who have had terrible experience with our current day Nigerian women you'll understand that it's as serious as I make it sound
You meet a girl today as just a friend oh, tomorrow (in 24h) she is already begging you for money. Just like that, and she will continue to beg you times without number, her problem nor de finish.
Man (debit) Woman (credit)
That will be the bases of your friendship/relationship, every woman I know has begged me money severally in the past, even the ones that are working with well to do boyfriend, even married women de still beg other men money, and you said it's not as serious as I make it sound, it's more than serious, it's madness, how can women be begging constantly like this with no shame, even married women
If you refuse to give she'll call you a broke guy and move on to the next victim, a jobless lady with an account balance of less than 1000 naira and with nothing to her name except big yanch and breast calling someone broke , some are even worse than that your neighbor's boyfriend.
Ybholy: Why not introduce her to ur brother that has potentials, that’s rich, that you see competing with dangote or Elon Musk in the next fifty years.
You painted the guy all bad. You never ask the girl what attracted her to the guy. Can you replace the guy for her?
You said your neighbor and not even your sister. Even if she’s your sister, you have zero right over her choice talk more of a mere neighbor that can relocate tomorrow.
Pokenosing no dey tire you
Go get a life nne. That’s how 95% of you girls are living under a man with the entitlement mindset. Now, a girl wants to take care of the man that makes her heart, you are there planning to take him off her and thereby forcing her to someone that won’t give her peace of mind.
I don’t know another means witchcraft people operate than this. Your type will be so jealous of the neighbor if good things start happening cox you’re overdoing the stock keeping work for her without monthly salary.
Someone’s love life is solely his/her choice. Go get a life.
