Some of these useless politicians and parties, instead of them to align and form a strong credible opposition, they would just waste everybody's time to claim former candidate when they know they would eventually lose.
They then accept the result of the outcome, congratulate the winner, pay the winner a courtesy visit, the winner would share brown envelope and probably cede some juicy contracts or deals to them. They all go home knowing they have made more income than expenses in the whole process.
This has become a reoccurring script..

100% correct, I'm surprised the way people thinks, especially youth.
They are fixated about party rather than individual performance, the cast down somebody who's performance is far better than their loved party and Praise mediocrity performance of their beloved party.
They talk about how Osun did not pay six month half salaries while the kept quiet about how somebody in Abia is also owning salaries and refused to embacked on infrastructures.

They criticised government policy that could help create employment instead of taking advantage of it, because they don't like the government or the person that created the policy.

Nigerian youth are the most useless, visionless, educated yet illiterate and foolish set of human being allover the world.

Im with Reno on this. We northerners have major issues. And what is the use of all this billions if your can't lift your neighbor/community out of poverty..

In Kano , you would see a multi millionaire with an 8 bedroom mansion and his neighbors in their run down 1 or 2 bedroom house struggling to make ends meet. Cruel world

How can anybody not boo a club captain who refuses to recognize that his club needs every minutes of the remaining match period to win a match by walking like a pregnant woman when he was substituted. Would any player try that in Juventus, Real Madrid or Barcelona. Of course not. They know that Arsenal offers players no pressure. Well the fans are changing all that now, demanding more from players. Granit Xhaka deserves to be booed and booed again. Zero passion. Zero sense of urgency. Nonsense.

This is issue happened to me twice when I had my DC Accord and no signs whatsoever. All happened when I was taking a sharp bend. I differ from those saying bad maintenance culture bcoz I know I maintain my cars very well and regularly. For me , it all boils down to constant POTHOLES/BAD ROADS and substandard/Chineese OEM parts. These are the main contributors to Honda ball joint failures. I'm done with Honda's for now and in the near future.

If you lived in the north, you'd see how fast poor families get rid of their small boys, because unlike small boys, girls have more immediate potential to attract resources for the family.
The result is the feeding of a burgeoning almajiri industry in the name of learning islamic education.
How can you educate a small boy in a religious school at night and leave him to wander for food all over the place all day?
Election and need to violence have reduced, and these boys are no longer needed to do the dirty works of the masters for plate of food.
This is the dirty secret the north is hiding, unfortunately, now someone wants to blame Igbos for ithuh
You are diverting totally from the topic. Kids were kidnapped as little 2yrs. Even tho almajiris are prevalent in the north, you don't see 2 year olds doing it unaccompanied. Condemn it for what is. These kids were kidnapped by confessed Igbo's and moved ,sold, Names changed, converted in the south east. This is a sophisticated kidnapping syndicate. This is the crime. This is the topic. What is wrong is wrong. No long epistles.

2 years ago, this same kidnap issue happened to a certain ESE oruru. The outrage and National outcry was unanimous. Let's stop the hypocrisy and say it as it is.

It's a diversion from this:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/nigerian-police-raid-frees-scores-164502391.html

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — Beaten. Starved. Sexually assaulted. Chained. For the second time in a month, police in northern Nigeria have raided a building where hundreds of boys were held in dehumanizing conditions, officials said Tuesday.

This time, the building was discovered in President Muhammadu Buhari's hometown, putting pressure on him to act against the practice of sending children to institutions run by Islamic scholars rather than conventional schools. The children are often sent out on the streets to beg.

More than 300 boys had been held in the building raided on Monday in Daura, Katsina state police spokesman Gambo Isa told The Associated Press. The building was discovered when some of the boys escaped on Sunday and protested against excessive torture.

"Many of those rescued have been sent to hospital on account of the ill treatment they suffered," Isa said. "Some of them are unable to walk because of the injuries they sustained after being chained for several years."

The building's owner and others involved were arrested, Isa said, and 67 boys were rescued. Search parties were looking for the ones who had escaped.

Some of the boys had been enrolled by their families for Quranic studies, Isa said. Others had been sent there because of delinquency or for treatment for drug addiction in an attempt at "character remodeling."

Police said the school's proprietor, 78-year old Bello Mai Almajirai, "has been in the business for more than 40 years and now he has become old he no longer has the capacity to run the rehab Islamic school."

The raid follows one late last month in Kaduna city, where police discovered some 400 boys and young men. Marks on their bodies showed that some had been tortured, police said.

The office of Nigeria's president did not immediately comment on the latest raid.

An aide to Buhari, who comes from the north, earlier this year noted the widespread view that the "almajiri" learning system associated with begging was a "security challenge and a scar on the face of Northern Nigeria."

But the aide, Garba Shehu, rejected reports that the president had banned the system. "The federal government wants a situation where every child of primary school age is in school rather than begging on the streets during school hours," he said. "At the same time, we don't want to create panic or a backlash."

Many Nigerians have expressed concern that some who study at almajiri institutions are prone to religious extremism.

Umar reported from Maiduguri, Nigeria
Diversion you call it. Your better than this please.

If this was the other way round, we for no hear word. Hell and all manners of curses would have been rained on the North. Igbo leaders and champions would come out and condemn it. Lawyers would willingly offer pro bono legal service. The comment section would be over 10 pages. ESE oruru quickly comes to mind. The hypocrisy stinks to high heavens.
