A well deserved endorsement.
I think Mike Adenuga chooses those people he personally likes to be ambassadors of GLO, not necessarily peoples choice.

Why does he hate Mercy Johnson so much.

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye: A Jet is Necessary For God's Work by Amya(f): 7:16pm On Apr 13, 2013
Now, let's analyze this.

They say the main reason they need a private jet is the ease of travelling to many places without stressing themselves with commercial airline wahala, and not necessarily the luxury, the esteem and grandiose of a owning private jet.

1. Will the plane pick them from their houses and take them directly to that church branch half way around the world? Won't they journey with cars to the airport and then board the jet and still land in an airport (exactly as commercial airliners?)

2.Is it not more complicated to fly a private plane around the world as you can't just land at any airport without approval which is mostly given to commercial air operators? Isn't it easier to get visas for all your destinations and fly hitch free without the fear of being blown to smithereens with a missile hovering in a hostile airspace?

3. Is flying around the world in first class (even) every other day not cheaper than paying for parking space at the airport which run into billions of naria per month? That's not even inclusive on the service and maintenance bill that run into (more) billions of Naria per month?

4. Is the money from all these unnecessary extravagances sent from God from above?

5 is the money not from poor gullible church members that want miracles?

6 do these brainwashed followers think?

7. Ain't they idiots?

carr96: oh so because he's a man of God, he shouldn't buy a private jet?? undecided a man of God is till a human being! Like I said people can't reason! When a man of God gets angry or does something irrational people den say he's not a true man of God! Lyk wtf! A man of God is still a human being for crying out loud! huh

In fact let God bless my hustle! I'll buy more than a private jet.......my God isn't a poor God grin
You can see but you are blind

muami: Who is attacking the Catholic church? I only stated facts, and particular noted that while the catholic church's doctrines are well conceived, several of its members and bishops take the liberty to go against it with levity. How is that an attack?

Romance › Re: My Neighbour's Wife is Harassing Me. by Amya(f): 11:22am On Apr 13, 2013
Since lady in question has not openly propositioned you, I see no reason why you say she's harassing you! As someone said, you're secretly lusting after her. Even if she starts wearing a jalabia, you'll still find it erot.i.c. The fact that it's a small compound and she's the only woman in it makes it all the more worse for you and so does the nighttime s.h.agging.

What you do is get a distraction. It could be in the form of your gf spending more time at your place, or you spending more time away from your place.

In the 10 years you've known her, didn't she know about you beliefs or lack of? Well, if she can be open-minded enough, I don't see a problem in that union. The reasons are see (which could be avoided) is. . .

1. Whatever you do, there should never be a conversion argument. She shouldn't try to change you and you shouldn't try to make her a free thinker like you.

2. If the relationship leads to marriage, in what belief should the kids be raised in.

Oh well, this union can't work, so don't even try.

3. If he's mum doesn't like me and my mum doesn't like him e.t.c

hardbody: Even when caught in the act, I can plead a lot of defences as provided in the law, like accident, insanity, delirium tremens, amongst others. Indeed a whole section of the law provides for general defences . Interestingly I can plead any of those and go scot free. But for reals, why make a law on such matters? It only , makes men more brazen. Its some fun to act and watch how you are going to get caught. Funny club, funny law. If the dragnet is Abuja, we fly to Sokoto, do IT and fly back, it's a round trip of about 2 hours.LMAO
True, the restrictions will only make it an exciting challenge for men. People naturally want that which they are told they can't have.

Oahray: nice... nice explanation. So where does the "Nigeria a nation of hypocrisy and hypocrites" expression you made fit in? Did you not hear/read of the republicans calling Obama to resign because of Beyonce's lipsync at his inauguration?

If you did hear, hope you called them a nation of hypocrites too, cos many have terrible voices and they do lipsync at times too in their sing-along private moments with their mirror.

Peeps expect alot from their leaders and care about the image they send to the outside world. Peeps would always talk even if they are worse off than the person in question, but defining a whole nation based on something peeps in other nations also do... that is what I have an ish with.
Republicans you say. If Obama coughs, they'll ask him to resign.

Why I said Nigerians are hypocrites is simply because we talk from both sides of our mouth. If stuffs like this should happen to someone we know, we are quick to rally on his defense, and if it's a person we don't know, we bring him down. If this guy were your dad or uncle or relative, we wouldn't be saying this same thing. We are hypocrites and sometimes are mostly swayed by the winning side. Let's be truthful to ourselves, yeah we had fun with this, but at the same time it could happen to anybody.

Oahray: blah blah blah and some more blah... Wrong illustration. Why didn't you just presumptuously spell the 'war' as 'wore'? Asking shows you realized you didn't know it at that moment. If he had admitted he wasn't sure, it wouldn't have been this big a deal.

After you've had your fill of laughter, the other laughing peeps are now hypocrites and you the girl who does not throw the first stone. So what does the dictionary call this your action? huh
There's time for everything bro. We all did enjoy a good joke at the expense of that guy. But where I draw the line is where people are screaming 'incompetence' and all what not because of a simple mistake anyone would make. Some people even want him fired!

How many of our parents are computer literate! My friend's mum who is a professor still calls a blackberry phone a 'blueberry' she can't understand the sematics of an email to save her life. Same with my mum and dad. They are from the school where newspaper, TV and radio are their all means of information. This man is probably from this school too, so we should all hold our horses.

Acidosis: Mr commandant, since Nigerians and the fcking channels local tv has decided to pay your good deeds this way.. If I were you, I'll change my way of life... I'll start stealing government money, recruiting my close pals and relatives leaving others aside, I'll take bribes in millions and billions, I'll let the oil bandits live and go free... I'll tarnish the image of the innocents and deal with them mercilessly leaving the thieves alone!

Let me tell you, sir.... Good works don't pay in Nigeria! We do not celebrate good people in this fckiN country... Mediocres RULE! Thieves lead!

Change your way of life! Thats the only way our people will celebrate you!
Next time you see a oil bandit... Take some money from them and let them go! Ask your leaders and elders in government! Ask the owner of that tv how he got his money!

Thats what they do! Thats what Nigerians want!
Thank you!
Really? Is this an attempt at sarcasm?

Okay we've all had our fun with this one. But he who says they've never had a brain fart before should cast the first stone. It had happened to me once, and I had to ask someone how to spell 'war'.

Anywayz, why am I wasting my breath sef, a nation of hypocrisy and hypocrites.

What is the proof of adultery?

**will both parties be caught red-handed? (Which is almost impossible)

**will the man confess?

One of the reasons why adultery is not actionable in court is just for the simple fact that it's one of those things that cannot be proven without a reasonable doubt except when those involved are caught in the act.

That law in the club is kinda pointless. In a situation where a member refuses to pay, what's the worst that could happen?

It was clear from the first few seconds that the man probably didn't know the answer. Now that is pardonable. Where he killed himself was when he started beating around the bush probably thinking the answer would come from above, or someone may volunteer to say it or they may divert to another new discussion after the very famous 'my Oga at the top' sayings. But the presenters weren't fools , they saw what we all saw.

It's not quite a terrible thing if the older generation is not particular computer savvy, it happens all over the world. Big position or no. So if I were in his position, I could just joke that the IT trend all caught the young people and as an old man, I really don't know all about that computer stuff.

xynerise: Well, that is the essence of courtship before marriage. If I know the kind of person she is, that is, being a kleptomaniac, why would I marry her in the first place or even keep that kind of money where she can see it? Besides, a reasonable wife/girlfriend should ask first from her partner before stealing.
