I call upon Anambra state govt to take over Zik's final resting place from F.G. |
I think my most favourite track is-Ako na Uche. It is very meaningful. One remarkable feature of him is that he has been singing in Igbo unlike those chaps there who sing in Yoruba other than their native tongues. Duncan, IJEOMAAAAAAA1. |
ChinenyeN:At the 2009 Ahiajoku lecture, one Delta Igbo chap called Tony Nwaezeigwe delivered a lecture on the role of the ''Aros and the enslavement of Ndigbo''. I have a copy of that lecture. But since then, Aro intellectuals have written rebuttals to Nwaezeigwe's presentation. I have as well stored copies of those rebuttals. Any one interested in Igbo culture should look forward to Ahiajoku lectures, Odenigbo lectures, Ohanaeze Ndigbo's Igbo day's celebration, World Igbo congress conventions and lots more. |
snowdrops:That may push Essien further in the midfield and allow Ramires play the holding role. |
Isaac Semitodje- Former Kwara state Utility Bomber and later Iwuanyanwu Nationale. For 13 years, he was at the heart of Nationale's defence. He was a member of the Nigerian national team that was runners up to Algeria in 1990. But he spent more time as a bench warmer than an outfield player. I think KWASU Bombers is either Kwara United or Kwara stars. |
Will he be a success at Chelsea?. Opinions please. |
• RAMIRES BEGS FOR CHELSEA MOVE Benfica midfielder Ramires has pleaded with the club to resolve his transfer to Chelsea and release him for his "dream move" to Stamford Bridge. GettyImages Ramires' performances for Benfica and Brazil have caught Carlo Ancelotti's eye. Chelsea's bid of €20 million is on the table and the Brazilian star is waiting to hear whether or not it is going to be accepted. However, the player has now spoken out in the hope that his desire to move to England gets the ball rolling. "I know there has been a bid for me from Chelsea, this is a great honour, it is like a dream come true,'' he said in quotes obtained by Soccernet. "I have dreamt of playing in the Premier League and now to have the opportunity to play for the best team in the Premier League and for a club with so much history - it would be my dream. "I hope this can happen, and I hope that I can help Chelsea to regain the Double and also to win the Champions League next season "I am looking forward to playing with the likes of John Terry, Petr Cech, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, they are amongst the best in the world, to play with players like this under a manager of the stature of Carlo Ancelotti whom I admire and respect, in a club with so much spirit and winning mentality, would be a tremendous privilege. "In the process I would like everyone to know I had a fantastic year at Benfica, and I respect them a lot, but this is a dream that I cannot let go." http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=810812&sec=transfers&cc=5739&cc=5739 |
According to Roger Milla '' it does not matter if one is old or not, but what matters is if one is god or not''. |
Devil agent Chris or whatever your useless name is, just go and sit in the gutter. Whoopsy, do you not know that for one to play pro football in The UK, you must have been playing for your national team, apart from that, you must have played up to 65 % of your national team matches within two years. You are looking for someone to defraud. Am afraid you have failed. Clown. |
This Falconets will beat Germany silly. The first step to that is for the Nigerian coach to get in touch with me A.S.A.P or else,,, |
Any one here who feels those falconets are age cheats should provide the original birth certificates and publish it right here. Failure to do that will result,,,. |

ochukoccna:Just to bring some sense of humour to the board. Tension was too much. |
Now that Nigeria has won the match, make una forget that miss from Orji. |
Nigeria vs Western Germany in Finals. |
Thanks to Eurosports. |
God is a nigerian |
That was a handball. Anyway, two minutes left to play. |
Orji should have gone for a diving heading. |
Katsumoto:I do not justify Aro enslavement of her neighbours. My point is, Aro were business men who traded in slaves and other articles. The Aro bought the slaves from slave owners and village heads. The village heads sold prisoners of wars and criminals who were meant to be sacrificed to the gods. Most importantly, Abam people sold most of their slaves to Aros. Aros were mere middle men. Nothwithstandingly, slave trade was evil. |
The Aro were never slave hunters. They never captured slaves. Indeed as business men, they sold slaves and other articles to the British and other whites on the coast of Biafra. We must aknowledge the role of Nationalist of Aro origin who fought for the liberation of Nigeria from 1902-1960. |
kildran:And you are not Katsumoto either. |
Ibos should shut the eff up, freakn crabs! You guys, thru your bearded warlord, already promised the Ibo vote to The Evil General. . . . .
Ku, ku, kuru, uku, ku. |
udezue:That is interesting. But is there any arrangement to unite this Aros with motherland Aro?. |
Now that Gators has been found, shall we now search for Mr Crackles?. |
ziddy:I am not an Aro man but let's give credit and honour to whom honour is due. It was Aro who fearlessly rtesisted British occupation of Eastern Nigeria. It was Aro sons who like Mbonu Ojike, Mbadiwe, Alvan Ikokwu etc who fought for the liberation of Nigeria from colonial masters. NDI ARO, UDO DIRI UNU. |
