What is going on? Is there something I'm missing? Aigbofa, you are a goodman. No need to fight. This is an attempt to pay a last respect to a fallen Nigerian hero. In the fast approaching 2011, there should be no quarrels between Igbo and Yoruba. If you notice any Yoruba making trouble, tell him off. If any Igbo upsets you, politely report him to Onlytruth from Jan 2nd. The late Ikemba never hated Yorubas and there is no need for any Yoruba not to wish him well even in death. To all the Yorubas, Ndigbo, Itsekiris, Eguns, Urhobos, Tivs, Hausas, Kanuris, Ogonis, Efiks, Nupes etc, happy new year in advance. |

N_Oviedo, this your epistle is too long and boring. You are a very partial observer. It seems you are too blind not to read what Ogbuefi1- an Ika son has been writing. You only read Agbontaen's because it pleases your bigoted mindset. You mentioned Owa, yet you were too blind to read the part where the Obi of Owa claimed that they came from Nri. I can't believe it took you so long to know that Edos are not Yorubas, yet you are Edo. You are a disgrace to the Edo community you come from. There is nothing at all that will suggest to any Edoman that he is Yoruba. I feel ashamed of you. Even the Edos born in far away land as in the U.K know whom they are. Why do you have to come here to tell Ndigbo to leave Ikas alone without you warning Agbontaen to leave Ikas who are proud Igbo alone. I think this is the last rubbish i will read this year in Nairaland. I don't know why people can be so biased and pathetic. It's a pity. |

The Idea of French is a noble idea. As Nigeria is sorrounded by french speaking countries, it is important we learn how to communicate with them. Some years back, the ministry of education under Babs Fafunwa introduced an idea of schools in the west teach Igbo language; schools in the east teach Hausa and schools in the north teach Yoruba. But it has not been fully operational. I know that in the west, some schools teach Igbo but it mostly Igbo kids who attend such classes. Why?. |

Silence. There is absolutely nothing wrong in voting for our candidates. The only reason we succeeded was because it was allowed, for if it wasnt we wouldnt have been able to. Maybe if there were a system like 1 vote per IP, then we mightnt, but then again, you have proxy systems. Oops.
@ Jarus Mukbot did not catch all; she only caught the last minute votes. We gave Gbawe 50 of our votes, albeit spread out on different days. To see people congratulate him is highly and freaking entertaining. Buahahahahahahaha. Next year, we shall be more tactful and all our candidates shall win. This was just an experiment.

Ugbogloba, you are a no brainer at all. Your post is the most laughable in this thread. At what stage did White people create Bendel for you?. Did the white people who left in 1960 create Bendel for you?. What an idiotic reasoning from you. At what stage did Ojukwu betray Nzeogwu?. And when did Nzeogwu become Anioma and Ojukwu Igbo. Yet the coup was an Igbo coup. Ugbogloba, surely, you are a disgrace to the Ukwuani people who are well travelled and educated. Mark+Chime/Ekweremadu 2015- Already oiling the machinery. I like this guy's style. It is an outright stupidity on the part of Mark to support Adada state when Njaba and Anioma are the most viable and most qualified states to be created for Ndigbo. Adada with only 7 local govt areas compared to Njaba with 13 local govt areas. How about Anioma with 9 LGA's and been in the radar since 1951. Aba state has 9 and more viable than Adada. Adada is the least in the south east. The most thing to happen to Ndigbo is Njaba and Anioma. |

Why do you take up arms against your Igbo brothers or any time any thing Igbo emerges?. I have my own dialect just like Ukwuani yet I did not advocate for Isinweke, Nsukka, Ika or Ndoni. If someone comes here and says he wants to learn Abiriba and he can't see anything online, I will give the same advice. As it is now, you can help Swinginton learn Ukwuani, but if you can't and he is interested in Central Igbo, I offer to help. |
