Moonlight stories are so much here. These are all false attempt to ensure that Ife or Yorubaland is the craddle of civilization. Yet before the first bicycle in Yorubaland, In Obodo Oyibo, they were already flying in the skies.
Don't be deceived guys.

Aigbofa:
Unconfirmed rumour? Of course he did. He also confiscated all ibo properties in Nigeria and gave them to Yorubas. Froze all ibo assets in Nigeria, gave them to Yorubas and gave ibos only 50 cents each to buy guguru and epa for their garri.
Indeed Awo failed Sir Louis Odumegwu-Ojukwu but at first in the late 40's and 50's they were close friends.

Hie Andre!
Did you see the news about creating a new state with Okigwe as capital? I forgot the name they called it, but it was striking for the fact that it included the areas that used to be under Okigwe before independence.
Some people want states to be created for selfish reasons and I will not be part to that. From the entire south east, the most viable and most qualified state to be created is Njaba state with capital at Orlu. I am not from this zone but they do deserve one for many reasons I discussed with you the other day.

@Musiwa, though Azikiwe lost in Rivers and Bendel states but the Igbo speaking areas were under the grips of Azikiwe's NPP. At The bendel state legislative chamber, seats from the Igbo areas were occupied by NPP representatives just as in Rivers state up till the senate level.

@Musiwa, Azikiwe won elections in the Igbo speaking areas of ''Bendle'' state. From Agbor to Kwale. UPN won in Bendle state not because of Awo but because of Ambrose Ali. Igbo hater.

CultureRe: Kola Nut Ritual In Igboland by AndreUweh(op): 12:56pm On Oct 13, 2011
Kolanut is centrally called Oji in Igboland. However, in some parts of Igboland it is called Aji (Port Harcourt) and Ogi in Agbor. Oji is very unique in Igbo culture.
