Yet we posted 2 Links that show we did. And we don't realy get much training from any other country. Only a few things here and there.

agaugust: Even small military nations like Senegal, Chad, Mali, etc train with big powers like America and France.

Nigeria is different because we combine and use many American, European, Middle East, and Asian military powers use for regular training courses and not just exercises. No other african country goes that far, we have most of these training at level of defense pacts with USA, Ukraine, Pakustan, India, etc.

They are not short term occasional training they are long term and permanent.

Navy of Spain just did joint exercise with Nigeian Navy. NNS Thunder was recently in exercise with Brazils navy.

Nigeria gets more war training and information and officers exchange because we use defense pacts a lot.

Nigerian navy has current Anti-submarine weapons active on NNs Aradu and some other warships.

The whole world knows Nigerian navy new modern stealth warships are under construction in China and they have most modern anti submarine weapons built to challenge American latest submarines in defense of China. That is the next level of anti submarine warships Nigeria has paid for. I have posted too much of it and I don't like to repeat old posts.

Overseas military training is very expensive, but Nigeria is always happy to spend the dollars.

No other African country spends so much hundreds of millions of dollars on military training with America NATO powers, and Asian powers all at the same time.

That is why Nigerian military is superior in training to all other African military who DONT go round the world like Nigeria does and we get different war tactics and strategies from the best experienced super power nations of the world.

That is why south Africa failed in CAR getting defeated by Seleka rebel farmers carrying old AK-47 rifles to disgrace the fine photography army of south Africa.

If south Africa had swallowed their pride and come for training in Nigerian Defence Academy NDA, and Nigerian War College, we would have given you part of the secret of our success.

Pride goes before a fall. South African army has fallen flat.

Just about any modern country trains with other countries. So listing a bunch of countries of dose not impress me.

NN has not trained in ASW. Since non of there ships have ever taken part in a ASW exersize. In realty NN has no ASW abliety or at most only limted to self defense.

Nigeria has a different fiscal/budget/finance/public sector accounting system, very different from most other countries.

Nigerian budget is NOT an actual revenue based budget, it is as a rule/principle, and understated revenue budget. If oil price is about $100 per barrel Nigerian budget calculate budget on oil price $65 deliberately and this creates surplus billions of dollars every year. Nigeria produces about 2 million barrels crude oil per day. Multiply by $100 per barrel approximately and then you have mot even added Gas and OSO condensate exports all in billions of dollars per year revenue.

Nigerian government accounting system rules that NOT all our oil revenue will be spent in a budget every year. So billions of dollars go back into oils and gas infrastructure maintenance. More billions of dollars go into cash reserves. Much more billions of dollars go into special oil and gas future savings account for Nigeria as very long term savings for our next generation of children...thanks to our finance minister a world bank vice president with a smart Nigerian brain.

Nigeria is not a joke. Money is being budgeted in a wise manner and saved for emergency or future needs.

All the total foreign aid that Nigeria receives from overseas is far less than 1% of Nigeria's yearly income without even adding domestic government revenue from taxes, levies, fees, etc running into many more billions of dollars yearly.
