agaugust: If a need arises tomorrow, Nigeria's EPE Missiles will be ready within weeks.

We already produce air to ground rockets since 2 years ago and we use them on Alpha Jets combat regularly

.
Air to ground rockets are the simplist things ever. I mean it is a tube with a rocket engien one side, fuel in the middiel and warhead on the other side. Braging about them is SAD.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:37am On Aug 25, 2014
agaugust: Yes I did, on page 1078 this is what I told you...

I also showed you image below, you did not use common sense because intelligence is a very scare commodity in South Africa cheesy

.
Since when is a beachcraft 350 and a C208 the same aircraft?

agaugust:
Are you d.eaf, d.umb or blind ?

I said Nigerian Beechcraft 350ER has FLIR is retractable, see how useless your South African education is !

"One distinguishing feature of the 350ER is the overwing engine nacelle fuel lockers that enable the aircraft to transit 100 miles to and from the mission area and spend more than seven hours on station at a height of 4,000 feet before returning to base. These tanks are to be further aerodynamically refined after the aircraft returns to America. Here at Paris the development aircraft includes another distinguishing feature in the mission sensor pod that has yet to be equipped, but Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems’ Seaview radar and retractable FLIR will be installed upon the aircraft’s return to the United States."

http://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/paris-air-show/2006-12-15/king-air-set-special-missions

Beechcraft 350ER has retractable FLIR that is why you don't see it outside on the NAF Beechcraft 350ER ISTAR

I told you that South African air force is 66 years behind Nigerian air force and it will take SAAF till year 2080 to get to NAF level of ISTAR power....Nation of Mumus tongue tongue

.
no you did not
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:40pm On Aug 24, 2014
sirjerry: how long it took them did not matter, what matter is did they deploy by themselves or not.
It matters, if you fight a high mobility force(south Africa) and you are to rigged (Angola/Cuba) or slow (Nigeria) they can use a smaller force to strike and withdraw long before a large enough force can fight them.

In fact according to SA doctrine Terrain holds value only has long has it is tactically relevant. so your slow moveing force will all though be bigger will never be able to wield that size.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:35pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Is this a mercenary? You don't know Ethiopian air force. They will wipe out all your SAAF Gripen jets that have ZERO combat experience cheesy

https://www.ethiomedia.com/allphoto/yonas_two.jpg
.
just like all air force in Africa that employed mercs, not all pilots where mercs.

When the F15 went in to combat for the first time it had zero combat experience yet still won, same for the M1 tank that went in to combat for than 10 years after the first one was but.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:32pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Ethiopian Su-27 Pilots shot down MiG-29 4th Generation jets of Eritrea
.
not with there BVRMs though witch of least 24 launches had 1 hit.

and since when is where ertian mig 29s 4gen
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:17pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Poooooh, Ethiopia has year 2000 Su-27 jet BRV missile combat experience with jet vs jet k.ills, but South African Gripens have NEVER fired any missile against a pigeon since the day your purchased them. SAAF pilots are inexperienced bunch of rookies cheesy

.
1 out of 24 hit and vs a mig21 SAAF killed many a mig 21 in it's day.

All so they where merc pilots.

Source was given.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:15pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: No this thread topic is Who has the strongest military in Africa

Ethiopia, Algeria, Eritrea, etc are among African military forces
.
Has I have shown the BVRMs used by ethyopia strugeld to hit 1 mig21. Vs a gripen with it's far more advanced EW/ECM sytems and beter pilots than etria and ethypa I see SAAF comeing on top. Ethypian army is big but is close to a WW2 styl army and out dated.

Algeria could be listed the strogest but it's budget to solder rastio is below that of SA so I do wonder what they gave up.

In a source I posted not long ago I showed that the bigest reciver of our defence budget is J ops. The SANDF works very close together with it self.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:53pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Dude, I have told you that South Africa is lost behind America/Europe in modern technology, NAF Beechcraft and ATR-42 can have FLIR you don't see, becasue some are retractable, visible now when being used, invisible later when retracted after use.

http://www.northeast-engineering.com/Products/FLIR_Installations/FLIR_Installations.htm

You don't see FLIR on NAF Beechcraft 350ER means it is fixed where you are not able to see it.....and you are no aviation expert. So leave this engineering topic.

NAF has Beechcraft 350ER proved, Fact !
.

.
I showed where the ATR42 and 350ER put there FLIR including yours.

denisfidha: Tanzania has one of the most impenetrable airspace in africa. They even have a battalion called surface to air missile battalion. Others include anti-air battalions.... Most of the battaries from china
don't they still use older model F7s?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:34pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: The above photo is NOT Nigerian, see NAF ATR-42 ISR MPA photo below and show me FLIR anywhere on it cheesy cheesy

.
did I say it was, I was showing the locastion of the FLIR
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:09pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: You show me....and note that SA government according to President Zuma, does NOT state any numbers for Seleka deployment or casualties, all Seleka figures comes from very unreliable sources like that your fraudulent newspaper propaganda.

When Nigeria k.ills Boko Haram, we arrange and count their dead bodies like this....

Now show me how SANDF counted Seleka dead physically, stop quoting somebody somewhere...
.
MM we not barbarians.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:05pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Same problem the Gripen will have. Do you think at all?
Only in the up close fight the more manouverbil SAAF AAMs combined with the helmet mounted tracker gives the SAAF a edge. It is like forcing Race car to drive over road
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:02pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: SANDF has NO Merlin missiles today. Nigeria too has Epe missile project under development. Both are still laboratory stuff. Not reality

.
ha but denel has build a BVRM before and has build the A darta and other missiles so there is a big difference. Denel has the proven tech know how.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 5:48pm On Aug 24, 2014

Show where it says ONLY
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 5:42pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Okay, Ethiopian Su-27 jet pilot too flies low, and masked by terrain, he too switches off radar....Gripen of SAAF gets k.illed cheesy

.
and with out his radar he is depended on IR guided missiels and get in close.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 5:36pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: 400, 300, 250, 200....Means South African information is NOT reliable, all your military stories are big lies cheesy cheesy

.
What number does the SA government use?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 5:32pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: SANDF had 400 soldiers fighting Seleka according to South African reports, except your country is master of lies and manipulation of data.

"The defensive positions of more than 400 South African soldiers, including paratroops, were overrun at the weekend during a 13-hour battle with more than 3000 Seleka rebel forces."

http://m.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/?articleId=8555931

If South Africa cannot count it's own soldiers numbers correctly, how did they enter inside Seleka fighters' base and count them ?

South Africa's current SANDF has never fought a war on it's own soil where your civilains will get k.illed, Nigerian army has that experience SANDF army does NOT have, that's the reason why African Union humiliated South African army putting them under a Nigerian Brigadier General's command from 2015 cheesy cheesy

.
And that same source will later say 200.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 5:20pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Ethiopia Su-27 Flanker is not at the old level of MiG-23.

If two countries have frontlines facing each other in war, how do Gripens appear from behind Su-27, you take off from behind enemy lines or your air base is inside enemy territory?

Su-27 100km radar will not even let a Gripen maneuver behind it, and don't joke with Su-27 Flankers, the most maneuverable jets in the world, Gripen maneuverability is as bad as an F-7NI jet.

Ethios K.ill Southies in 1 hourcheesy
.
You don't think that the Cubans had powerfull radars all on the ground. We here able to avoided them. and young lion showed that we can get great kill rastios vs BVRs.

Where is THIZA de fotografah ? Come see Rag Tag South African army vehicles, the largest quantity in SANDF

Ah! THIZA you 419 photoman, you never showed us these SANDF ugly equipment fit only for a rag tag army tongue tongue

agaugust: That may not be a FLIR, it's an object not identifiable. Don't go into aircraft engineering that is far beyond your level, you are not a professional aviator. See another NAF ATR-42....it's not there !
.
No that is the FLIR it the same spot on the other AT42 FLIR.

agaugust: Many FLIR are mounted inside aircraft nose cone like nose cone radar, you can never see them outside, you must be behind time in 1940 cheesy
.
and those camars are not used for surfalne since it can not move. The aircraft must aim at the target with it's nose.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 4:23pm On Aug 24, 2014
agaugust: Yes I have, I own infantry hardware, I live in a more advanced world than yours.

Where I am, hi-tech has gone beyond what you know. I have posted a lot of things here when you were absent, even the Valour frigate navigational radar is not outdated.

There are many new IR equipment in the USA built in very new method of operational use that you don't know.

The Beechcraft 350ER below shows NO single FLIR visible from outside like Nigeria's , that means you don't know it's location. Hight tech !
.
You live in America because you home land is a mess.

No mater the camrar the lense must have a line of sight

agaugust: Your knowlege of modern technology is limited and out-dated, you cannot find every piece of aircraft hardware by looking outside it in a traditional old fashioned way. Technology has advanced beyond your level cheesy

Many FLIR are mounted inside aircraft nose cone like nose cone radar, you can never see them outside, you must be behind time in 1940 cheesy
.
no mater where you mount it the actual lense can not be covered. Fixed nose mounted cameras can all so not swivel.

Tell me have you eve used a thermal camera before I have.
