HealthRe: Ebola: Nigerians Blast US FDA For Calling Its Experimental Drug, Pesticide by andrewza: 4:50pm On Aug 16, 2014
again i would like to point out. no lab in nigeria is able to conduct any ebola reshearch what so ever. The only lab in africa that can do ebola research in africa is the National Institute for Communicable Diseases located in south africa. In fact it does ebola reshearch.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biosafety_level

Here is a report on some earler ebola reshearch done in sa

http://www.nicd.ac.za/?page=alerts&id=5&rid=89

Here is what they doing now

http://ewn.mobi/2014/08/16/nicd-team-to-leave-for-ebola-mission

What nigeria is doing is picing some radom drug and saying. "Hey not like it can be any worse for them"

agaugust: I know how different shells work. I posted here that a Sagaie 90mm HEAT will penetrate an Olifant tank.

However, a 155mm HE direct hit on a tank with double the TNT explosive load of anti-tank mines? Wow, it will goddam penetrate a tank !

You don't know the physics of explosions, that heavy blast can breech tank turret from hull, it's got the muzzle velocity of a bullet and the explosive TNT double of a big anti-tank mine.
You do know no one knows the thickness of even the olphant mk1 armour. But they where hit by T55s in angola and none where destroyed. The olfant MK2 even as spaced armour so HEAT warheads are close to useless. So no a 90mm heat round will do nothing.

The blast of a he round is not focused. It will follow the path of least restance. Aka away from the tank.

Mines genraly only diable modern day tanks. And the belly is the weakest point. Sure if the round is a luck hit and gets inbetween the turret ring you could pull it off. But that one luck shot and it is how a ratel 20mm was assumed to destroy a T55 with a luck shot. Difrince is the ratel was firing at point blank rang at 750 RPM so at more chance of a luck shot hiting a weak point in the armour.

agaugust: Nigerian Army Medical Corp

http://www.nigerianafcsc.org/DOCS/read/NAMC%20LECTURE.pdf

SANDF medical core CANNOT go into all terrains in battle, but Nigerian army can do that.

In special terrain, South African soldiers will d.ie of injury, Nigerian army medical corp will fight it's war through battle zone and all terrains and save our soldiers' live. We are far better than you are !

PHOTO 1 : SOUTH AFRICA, UNARMED, LIMITED TERRAIN

PHTOTO 2 : NIGERIA, ARMED, ALL TERRAIN

.
Notice that the only tracked AFV in sa are tanks. That due to terrian. In Southern africa wheels beat tracks. In any case it is called a helcopter.

And one AT mine and your ambulance is gone. Note by law you can not fire on ambulances (though yours is armed so it is now free game) but mines are a threat to all and don't care about a red cross
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 3:05pm On Aug 16, 2014
agaugust: Dude, no tank in this world, not even the mighty Abrams tank of America will survive a direct frontal armour hit from that 155mm gun. A 155mm HE shell is not an RPG that bounces off tanks armour, a 155mm gun with 41 calibre is not in the same average class of Olifant tanks105mm shell that will bounce off an Abrams tank.

SANDF Olifant tank is one of the weaker armours in a modern day 2014 war era , a 155mm HE shell will tear into it.....and you have on 26 units Olifant Mk II version, the rest are even much weaker MK I versions, Nigeria has 50 Palmarias and with 4 times longer gun range.

Note, Olifant gun is 105mm, Palmaria gun is 155mm.

Also note, 99% of SANDF will be totally immobile and grounded in all terrain war theater while Nigeria will be able to move into action.

Your army will lose very badly if you try Nigeria.
You don't seem to know how HE works compared to AP, sabot, HEAT, SAPHE extra. A 155mm does not fire with a high enogh veloctie to get through armour so it will explode on the outside. The blast is not strong enough to knock the tank out. Most you can get is a firepower kill but a 105mm HE can do the same.
HealthRe: Ebola: Nigerians Blast US FDA For Calling Its Experimental Drug, Pesticide by andrewza: 2:59pm On Aug 16, 2014
How did nigeria develop this. They do not have a BL4 lab and have no reported attemptes at trying to counter Ebola? Any case this strain is only 55% fatel more people will die from the flue in lagos than ebola. With 11 cases I would instead spend my resources on tracking down every one they got in to close contacted with. That way you can limt the spread and keep it out the slums.

Henry120: DAILY POST
25 July, 2014

In a determined effort to eliminate terrorism by routing insurgents from their hideouts in parts of the North East and North West once and for all, the Federal Government has placed purchase orders for 40 helicopters for attack and transportation from the United States and Russia, DailyPost can report.

Reliable security sources confided in PRNigeria that some of the helicopters will arrive the country as early as next month, while the remaining will be received certainly before the end of the year to boost the Nigerian Airforce.

Henry120: Instead of screaming, you should start by proving medics exist in SANDF conflict operations.

You south-africans think only you own the monopoly of silly arguments.

Show us your medics in CAR treating the wounded? That's the photo I want to see.
That was done long ago
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 12:34pm On Aug 16, 2014
Henry120: We are getting 40 more helicopters because we are currently expanding our Fleet of helicopters. It is simple.

We started tracking our helicopter orders and deliveries when nigeria placed orders for 3 additional MI-35P and 6 MI-17terminator1sh helicopters.

We added 6 MI-35M and another 4 MI-17 helicopters in 2013.

This year the government increased the helicopters to 40 and on the 12 of august, we placed additional tenders for the supply of helicopters.

In 2013 the police received 13 bell surveillance helicopters and the National emergency service got 4 additional helicopters, while they transferred their MI-17 to the Airforce.

The nigerian army had already trained 40 helicopter pilots in preparation for these deliveries in 2012-2013.

We have no helicopters to replace as our current fleet of MI-35, MI-17, Augusta-109 and Super-puma helicopters are all in operation(s).

It is called Expansion.
polcie is not air force. I count 19

Henry120: Does it matter what he is carrying it with? Fact is, he's carrying all the medical aid he and his "BIA's" would need.

This is not hollywood, that's a real-life action image.

#fact
The SANDF do not have medics of any sort.
What the hell. Are you stupid or crazy.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 10:38am On Aug 16, 2014
MikeZA: The F-22 is currently the best fighter plane, though limited to air combat. The appearance of the new must have infrared search and track(ISRT) systems makes stealth seem overrated, and only pushed forward by defence companies.
ISRT trackng is nothing new. But yes, if your only good point is stealth, you product is bad
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 10:10am On Aug 16, 2014
bidexiii: I thought we are getting new SU-25's and not thousand armored cars !
Some where I herd you got 2 SU25s. I don't see nigeria get 1000 AFV any time soon. Unless you get second hand stockpil or from hundreds of difrent sources. Producstion takes time and nigeria does not have the local producstion to get more than a few afv out a year and exporting means depending on the other guy have free space on his producstion line.

Both second hand and multpil sources have the same problem. Logstics and maintance. You could end up bankrupting your self trying to keep all your self.

patches689: The f22 is the best fighter in the world

The f35 is coming along nicely

The t90 is a terrible terrible tank a d does not come close to the Leo 2 let alone the chally2 or the Abrams or the leclerc
F22 is in small numbers and the f35 costs more than any other fighter. The t90 is upgraded T72
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 9:04am On Aug 16, 2014
MikeZA: Buddy aid. Not medic!!!! The SANDF has battalion of special forces for that.
Every member of the sandf gets buddy aid training. I have my MFA1 level training and as I gain rank I can go to level3.

agaugust: You know next to nothing about artillery dude, you only know internet artillery info copy and paste.

Nigerian army Palmaria artillery is built for both direct and indirect fire. Indirect fire mode it works as artillery. Direct fire mode it works like a main battle tank with gun range technically 24km, and will wipe out ALL South African army Ratels, Rooikat, MRAPS, Olifant tank, G-6 Rhino etc from a range of 24km once there is line of sight.

Our Palmaria has special targeting sight for direct fire with a periscope for telescopic magnification power of x8, meaning if Palmaria looks at a South African Ratel with Ingwe missile from 24km away, the Ratel will look so close like only 3km away, excellent targeting, Booooom ! Palmaria fires 155mm gun with a 41 calibre shell, Ratel dies, Rooikat dies, even Olifant perishes....SANDF is wiped out.

See, I tell you more, 99% of South African army will be immobilized and totally grounded to a final halt if you go out of your country to fight Nigeria in a terrain that requires all round mobility.

Yes 99% of SANDF will be totally grounded unable to move, Nigerian army will move 1,000 tanks, artillery, and APC with full mobilty !

.
A 155mm HE would strugel vs the frontal armour of a tank. Where the auto canon of IF would easly pentrate the frontal armour of a sph. Of witch you do not have. 50.

agaugust: Both Nigeria and South Africa want to be giant of Africa, there is only one chair for that position, and somebody has been sitting on it since 1914 and he won't stand up, his azz is glued to the seat after 100 years.

.
you can be the giant, bigger does not equal better.

agaugust: You just disputed same thing about Nigeria. What makes your argument right and mine wrong? Olodo.

Anyway, SANDF has shortage of Ambulances, confirmed report says your wounded were begging French army for medical first aid at the airport in Bangui after the Seleka humiliation you suffered.

.
1 ambulance was in CAR, and we asked for medical supplies not ambulances. We all so flew our wouned out back to 1mil hospital in a day, that a few thousand KM away.

agaugust: No, you got banned because you forgot to add to your comment that South African G-5 and G-6 artillery guns were designed by Canada and sold to you, the engine and chasis of the G-6 artillery were fully built by Europeans and sold, shipped completed wholesale to DENEL.

Even South African Defence Industry is grossly over-rated by you guys
.
I bielve I was the first one to mention that many years ago, and it was not desghiened by Canada it was desghiened by a Canadian. both the US and Canada could not see the merit in his barrel. And yes all he gave was the barrel the rest is still all SA, what you saying is the same as me saying the M1 tank is German since you know the gun is German.

Henry120: So, you've seen the bulk of our army, to verify that they all use AK-47's?

There are little to no AK-47's in service with the nigerian army.

The army mostly use AKM's, OBJ-006's and AK-74's.

Tying a tape round Two or more MAG's allow for quick change of MAG's. The Ukrainians do it, the russians also do it etc etc it allows you carry more rounds in your pouches.

U.S forces go into battle with 7 rounds per soldier. There are also nigerian soldiers who go into battle with 410 rounds.

Trucks are used by every military in battle, you've seen U.S commandos driving toyota Tacoma trucks in afghanistan. Again I pasted those images when you began arguing aimlessly.

We do not lack armoured vehicles.

In addition to the over 400 Otokar Cobras and Panhard VBLs we field, the nigerian army also fields hundreds of,

IGIRIGI APC's,
Proforce ACV,
Up armoured pinguaer trucks,
Streit MK3
Streit MK2,

As primary light armoured vehicles.
tons of photos of 7div the guys fighting BH on the web.

still a AK47, AKM is just a modified 47 i don't think any body uses the old original AK47 any more. It is like comparing a M16A2 to a M16A3.

means when you go prone in dirt you slam the top of the mag in to dirt increasing the chances of this

Have you ever spoken to a us infantry solder in real life, i have and brits. Not according to the photos or to what your solders tell the press.

True, but you use them for every thing, not just commando work, yes you have Armourd stuff but not in nearly enough numbers.
