Good move... As long as it doesn't end in the news.

Announcing is one thing, implementation is a whole different story.

Na Naija we dey.... Let the workers testify by themselves.

It doesn't happen here strictly because of gun control... Not necessarily because we are a saner society.

If we had such liberal laws concerning firearms ownership in Nigeria, this nation would have been reduced to Yemen and Syria in less than 6 months.

He does make a good point.

America has more homegrown terrorists than the entire middle East combined, but have you ever heard them use that term on their people who kill at will?!!

It's so easy to stereotype certain psychos from certain religions as terrorists while calling those who do the exact same things from your country 'mentally ill'.

money may not be everything but it is very essential

Most average Nigerians will give out even 5 decades for monetary return without thinking twice.
Lol... That's what you think. But, you're wrong! Trust me... Don't even argue further. grin

The top is truly lonely and can even get depressing.

Money is essential, but it can never be worth the best years of a person's life. Never!!!

Why do you think we say "Happiness is free"?!!

Well, I respect your opinion on this issue, but you are wrong.

America loves "not" black people.

JAPA people, this kind of injustice transcends the whole system.
From your neighbors, to workplace to church to social outings.
Its not uncommon to experience varying degrees of pervasive racial exaggerated injustice.
Calm down abeg.

Racism is real, but American justice system has gone past this nonsense.

You can't compare their justice system over 30 years ago and currently... How easy is it to wrongfully imprison people today regardless of their race?!!! Not that easy.

Compare that to Naija where till now, many innocent people are languishing and dying in our Concentration camps called prisons.

This right here is the problem with lots of you guys in this Poverty Capital of the world...!

Y'all are mentally raised to believe money is the only thing worth living for.

The entire fortune of America can never buy back all the youth and life that man missed out in jail for over 4 decades... Do you even know what 4 decades means?!!

Can you imagine how many generations he missed?!!

Think well about this... Money can't purchase everything in life. That's why we say the rich also cry.

...Or do we look for another lame excuse?!! Maybe blame the ordinary citizens for this repeat of history.

At least, Emefiele had the lame excuse of Naira redesign and mop up of old notes... Mr. Cardoso should better have a better excuse for this show of shame.

I like your takes on the football section and I always look forward to your comments there. One thing I don't like though is your inconsistencies when it comes to matters relating to a particular tribe. I have seen you over and over try to broker peace when it is "them" at the receiving end, but sir, can you show me just one comment of yours on Nairaland in response to someone making derogatory remarks against Yorubas or Hausas or Fulanis? Check any topic on the frontpage and you will see an example of what I'm talking about - how come you haven't addressed the other "party" too? And to say it was this other party that introduced tribalism into Nairaland shortly after Oga Jona was sworn in 2010, and still are the most culpable (check any topic on the frontpage to confirm this. The Yorubas only decided to join the show of shame few years ago). I hope you'll not feel offended by my comment but I just wanted to drop by to let you know that we have been through this path before. Even Seun tried it sometimes this year but it failed. We always want to make this a two-fighting thing when in fact it is one side trying to intimidate/bully the others. The only difference this time is that the Yorubas unlike the Fulanis are very well represented online and while I am not happy as an old member with what has become of what used to be a community of intellectuals, there is not much I or anyone else can do. Or maybe there's something we can do, but definitely not by being one-sided or trying to gaslight the victim while letting the aggressors run rampage.
Thank you for your comment.

Correction, I have never been one-sided... I am easily one of the very few neutral people on this forum.

I have called out people attacking Yorubas and other ethnic groups time after time... I constantly preach against bigotry in all its forms.

Tribalism and bigotry are worthless and idiotic distractions from real issues... As a matter of fact, they are the main reasons this nation has badly retrogressed in almost all areas.

Why on Earth would I elevate one tribe over another or defend one tribe against another?!! What exactly am I supposed to gain from it all?!!

Thankfully, Seun has been taught a major lesson, which has been long overdue in all honesty...!

Every bigot should be banned permanently from Nairaland and every sane forum or social platform on Earth.... They are scourge and a disease to this nation.

If you know the amount of fake and substandard foods, drugs, and drinks out there, you will be fearful of buying things.

This is the one they managed to catch o. Several others are out there doing worse... Some are not even hiding it. They simply bribe law enforcement to look elsewhere.

Have you been out of Naija at all?
At least once.

You go understand better.

Remain Blessed.
I have been out severally, and it has nothing to do with tribes.

Let's quit this infighting...!

There are nations where particular tribes are more problematic than others, but you don't see their citizens doing what Nigerians do online.

Calling out tribes and regions won't solve anything... It will only make them more defensive and protective of their own.

A national issue should be solved proactively from the grassroots... That's why you have an organization called NOA (National Orientation Agency) alongside Ministry of Information and Culture.

They should liaise with the governors, elders, and leaders from the problematic regions, and find solutions to these international vices and embarrassing situations.

There is no international passport that differentiates any of us... Food for thought.

You guys should change. That's all I'm saying. We are all addressed as Nigerians outside. We carry same passport. Truth must be told and it's bitter.
You are making life difficult for other Nigerians. Where I dey now outside Naija you guys are all over the place doing all manner of shady deals.

If you think this is about hate well you have right to think anything.
Don't talk like a hateful and unintelligent child.

Call out those commiting crimes by their names not their tribes or region.

Criminality has no tribe or region.

Every region in Nigeria produces criminals in varying numbers.

That's like calling out the entire Muslims consistently for the conducts of less than 10% of their adherents.

There are over 20 Million Igbo people in Nigeria and beyond... Calling out the entire tribe for the acts of a few hundreds (less than 5% of their population) is terribly bigoted.

You give criminals and lowlifes a cover to commit crimes and kill people in the guise of Sit at home... Then, you fly to other regions to set up businesses and build houses.

Look at how they have literally flooded Asaba, all the way from Anambra and Imo.

Yet, they keep deceiving themselves that their voices are being heard all over the globe... Isn't that the worst form of collective stupidity?!!
