Start with liquid, formula, pap. Let someone else feed him and stay out of sight. Continue trying and be patient with him.

Hmnnnn...story of my life...until 2weeks ago. I noticed whenever I'm with a glass of juice, he starts stretching his mouth.. so I recently started using a glass cup in giving him his meds and he takes it well and licks his mouth.
I pour the required amount of the syrup in a glass cup ( I ususally don't let him see me doing this) and take it to him saying " do you want juice? and voilaaaaa he drinks it All up...

At this point it should be boldly written in the mind of mummies that all these teething meds for babies is just (a scam) Paracetamol. Most of them don't do anything than bring down temperature. Please teeth will surely sprout and paracetamol will do the trick. But if you want to go the teething medicine way, don't include another paracetamol biko. Say NO to drug abuse.

I was forced to buy a bottle of piccan about 3k or so because my son had high temperature from crèche and all the elders around me thought it was jobless of me to go to hospital for ordinary 'teething temperature' I checked the composition and I saw paracetamol and Diphenhydramine Hcl as active ingredients with a far greater percentage going to paracetamol.

I Used it that night but high fever continued through the night. I took him to the hospital early morning and infection and malaria was diagnosed. I have never touched the piccan since then. I was just wondering and shaking my head for my friend that has used about 8 bottles of piccan because she started giving her baby from 3 months. Please enough of the self medication.

I have been reading about giving assignments to children in playgroup and I have been praying this 'cup' will pass over me, only for DS teacher to tell me I need to get home-work book for him 2 days ago I joking told her I am the one she indirectly giving assignments but she was determined. Yesterday, bobo came back with 3 different assignments kilode Trace 1, letter a and scribbling. To get him to sit still so 'we' can do 'my' assignment nko? Another wahala To say the 1 he was assisted to write in school was so neat, while the one we wrote was an eye sore I have written in his communication book to give just an assignment per day, that is if at all sef because of his age. So am thinking if it's laziness that is worrying me or the teachers are right. But I can confidently say he's learning sha. Kudos to teachers that teach less than 2 years old babies

Plz I hope its okay for a baby not to have any teeth in almost 8 months coz I am scared. She is not even showing sign of teething (if there is any). She is crawling and can stand up while holding something. Someone said by this time her baby already had like 8tooth. Op nothing is wrong. Plz answer me ASAP. I beg

Better don't allow some people give you high BP because they are comparing 2 entirely different human being. Just know your baby is very ok@ 8months. My son cut his first 2 teeth after 10 months. BTW, I have never seen a toothless adult

The harmattan just disappeared yesterday and swapped itself with heat from hell. Rain sha fell today so let me hope the weather would get better.

@everyone, do you guys think tying my tummy could be affecting the stitches I got from my tear at delivery. I felt the craziest pains down there yesterday after i tied my tummy for the 1st time day b4 yesterday and yesterday. I checked and there's a dangling thread tho every other thing still looks intact. I didn't tie my tummy today and the pain has really reduced.

About taking or not taking milk after CS, I think it depends on your doctor. I had my baby in a general hospital so every patient in the ward with her own doctor. The woman beside my bed was told not to take milk till she's told to do so. she was suprised when she saw me takaing tea with milk. I was so scared with the look on her face, she said I have to be cleared before including milk in my diet. But I later asked my doctor when he came for check up, he said I can take milk no problem.

Bottom line is, please follow your doctor's advice

Biko mamas with baby boys we have circumcision tomorrow, and I'm freaking out already. Please I need tips on how to take care of the site so it heals as soon as possible.

It depends on the type they are doing for him. If it's the ring type, for us it's just Goya oil till the ring dropped ( this is to ensure the diaper does not stick with it.) then penicillin till it heals. I don't even want to remember the way he wept back then.

Washcloth and warm water will do ( You may want to keep one washcloth for the purpose of cleaning her tongue only)

2) I think baby tribotan is OK. Try not to allow baby oil on her face and be careful of baby lotion.

Don't self-medicate, go to a pharmacy with a real pharmacist, tell them you are breastfeeding, a safe antimaleria will be prescribed for you. Get well soon

My baby boy just made his entrance into mother earth at 4:36 am today looking radiant and weighing 3.5kg. Mama and Daddy's doing great and baby's awesome too.

Top is for grilling, bottom is for baking. The button on the right is to light up the gas, instead of using a match stick or a lighter; you hold the button down, you will hear a cackling sound, then u turn your gas knob but it will be to be plugged to electricity b4 it will work. This doesnt work for the oven tho.

As per temperature, you will need to get an oven thermometer to know for sure but someome told me, she just preheats the oven on the highest, then turn it down when she is ready to grill or bake.

With what you are doing, she should be OK. You can repeat the paracetamol after 4 or 6 hours (depending on the type you're using, check the prescription) it's the Penta causing the wahala. She will be fine. Kisses to baby.

Sometimes it gets worse before it gets better so let him complete the antibiotics first. Piriton syrup might help him sleep at night too but cough syrup never did anything for me.

Coughing seriously, have you done tests, might be an infection, in which case he might need antibiotics.

We took him to the hospital just Tuesday cos he was running temperature did FBC and was normal with just a slight increase in his WBC. Doc said it's slight infection and prescribed amozyl started coughing 2nd day so I just assumed d antibiotics will take care of it. But the cough just increased today

Happy new month mamas, please o my son is coughing seriously and it's really disturbing me . I am not a fan of cough syrup but I am tempted to give him Emzolyn by emzor. I have Not given him yet tho. Please how effective is it?
