Atiku has no serious political value even in Adamawa. He lost his greatest and only opportunity to succeed Obasanjo to poor political sagacity and disorganised political strategy. Yes,obviously due to lack of proper education on the game of power.

Driving License in UK is straight forward. You need to pass a theory test which is a multiple based test and Practical Test- which is driving on the road for about 1hr. Everyone had their own challenges in passing the Practical Test. You should be fine.

I am only concerned that you need to settle down first, get your own house (No one is going to keep you in their house for too long) and start adding value at work.

If you don’t perform in a job that sponsored your visa, it can never be renewed. So the Car stuff will place huge pressure on your finances.

A cheap and manageable OLD car will cost you at least £2000. Insurance (£140 monthly as a new driver), Mot, Road tax (£240 yearly).

Just settle down first and others stuff can be sorted out.

Anyways, I like your determination and resilience to move here. I have lived here for 11yrs and started out as a student and working now as an Assistant Vice President in a global bank. It ain’t gonna be rosy but just be resilient and you will survive.

Most extremely handsome guys are usually lazy and they see their good looks as their only way to make it so they don't date a lady based on her looks but based on who her father is, how much she has, where she works, her status in the society and if she can foot his bill and not demand money from him but rather spend on him.

And then ugly or not-so-good-looking ladies fall so cheapily for any man who looks handsome....most ugly or average looking ladies are focused, hardworking and usually don't depend on men but rather independent financially and usually end up financially buoyant so they don't care about a mans success or job or status, all they want is a handsome guy to give them butterflies and a man they can showoff to their friends and for bearing good looking kids should they get pregnant for him.

Whereas pretty ladies are usually lazy and gold diggers....they always see their good looks as a tool to use men and get men to do whatever they ask for and also, to beautiful ladies, it is a taboo to date or marry broke guy unless its by mistake or they have tried all they can but nature said no.

This is the reason handsome guys usually end up with ugly ladies....




To be honest, average looking ladies are better for any man who wants a happy marriage because they are usually cool headed, focused, career minded and have good manners unlike beautiful ladies who are usually obsessed with their looks and always feel they are doing any man they are dating or married to a favour.

If u check very well around the world, first wives of most great and successful men all over the world don't always look hot....they usually look average or even ugly....excluding musicians and entertainment celebrities oh those ones marry for show off and showbiz.

I always find the culture of illogical intellection on Nairaland tiring.

The op has written a fantastic piece on the Igala people living outside Kogi State. He raised issues around identity,language,culture and ignorance of existence. However, some simpletons have reduced the beautiful piece to ownership/settlement debate.

Some posers will highlight the folly of this simplistic reading of the op's perspective by our 'town and village owners' in Anambra.

1. Does settlement deny any people a claim of ownership?Think native Americans/the pilgrims in the US.

2. Even if the Igala people conquered and settled in those communities, does that make them less Anambra rians?

3. We have Igbos in parts of Ibaji and Olamaboro LGAs of Kogi State, even if quite invisible. Are they less Kogites or 'mere settlers' with no ownership claim in those villages were their ancestors lived,built and thrived?

I think Nairaland needs to be more stringent in designing standards for intellectual crossfires. A people must never be demeaned in the name of ownership claims.
