Let's agree with all you have said. What about a group called "Al-Nuara". Al-Nusra is said to be an affiliate of Alqueeda. Earlier this year we were told of the new affiliation between ISIS and Al-Nustra. Al-Nustra has two agenda, to force the syria forces backward and unleash terror on Americans. Who are this group actually, can we say its an affiliation of ISIS also backed by US? i still dont know why bahrain, jordan, qatar, saudi arabia, UAE and turkey are backing the ISIS?
Yes! Al Nusra is an Al Qaeda affiliate in Syria. It has and habors the same ideology like ISIS - to recreate and reestablished an islamic caliphate - but Al Nusra is more distinctively patient and methodological in character. While ISIS has declared its de facto islamic state/caliphate and tries to legitimate it by conquest, Al Nusra, on the other hand, has taken after Al Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri's method of formenting a religious and social revolution by embedding itself within an indegeneous insurgency, and the Syrian brouhaha with so many of such groups, provided it the perfect environment to achieve this strategy and hence, its overall aims. And due to its subtlety and insidious nature, its therefore very threatening and more difficult to defeat than IS. It is no secret that the US is known to support many or both sides of a conflict, provided that its immediate or long term goals are or would be realized. That is exactly what is happening in Syria: funding both YPG and Al Nusra alike for the main objective -taking out Assad, even though this two groups are enemies on the field any day, any time.

As for the nations you mentioned, the aim of them backing ISIS in Syria, is twofold. To take out Assad and pave the way for their dream Mideast -Europe oil pipeline, which must pass through Syrian territory to come into fruition, since Iran, the alternate option, is already out of the question.
The other reason is the issue of Sunni vs Shia power and dominion tussle in the very heart of the MidEast. The likes of Turkey and Satan Arabia has invested so much to see a sunni dominated power house and influence, but unfortunately for them, the entrance of the Bear into the ''Damascus Dragon'' has completely thwarted and make desolate all their efforts.

But make no mistake about it: the last has not been heard from Syria. We can only hope for the best while expecting the worst. God help the MidEast.

Stay well.

Maybe its a sarcasm though. But the confusion here is, if US is giving ISIS a tactical support, who are they bombing in Syria? is it the government forces or same ISIS they are financing. Who US is actually combating in Syria is not clear.
It is very clear, brother. For the US, the Islamic State is a means to an end, and an end to a means. The formation of IS was meant as an excuse to consolidate on the ruse ''war on terror,'' but the primary objective within was ''divide and conquer'' of blacklisted entities. This was very apparent in the revelations by formal US General, John Wesley Clark, on the US plan to take out 7 governments among which are Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, etc; and the Islamic State was a part of that means to ensure the take out.

However, there is a problem that have arisen with the ranks of the IS. There are now groups who have become defiant to the central authority and has formed their own independent cliches, running their own activities and making decisions independently, outside the IS central authority, and hence, beyond the reach and control of the US and its western partners in crime. This is the reason you see the US who previously ''ran out of ammos'' to bomb IS oil tankers, suddenly finding some bombs to strike at Certain IS groups and taken out their leaders. Why? These are groups that have gone completely out of US control and pursueing their own objectives to the detriment of the overall US plan.

Therefore, whatever they are doing now against IS made a lot of sense. The IS they created and have refused to bomb ever since, is not the IS they are witnessing today. Uncle Sam is fast losing control, and the only way now is to go the Russian way.

Also bear in mind that the US have plans to break up Syria, using the so-called moderate rebels, But with an increasingly independent IS on ground, and with regime forces to deal with, on the other hand, that dream is becoming more unlikely. Thus, it makes sense in taken out or immobilizing one foe right now, and deal with the other later on. Its a very good strategy.

You will understand better the crux of the matter when both the US backed rebels approaching from Majib, and Russia backed Syrian army approaching from the south, would meet in Raqqa against IS for the final showdown.

It would be hell on earth.

I wonder how Putin is going to go about it. Christianity is a none violent religion, so how is he going to force Christianity into turkey through a none violence religion. It will be very difficult for Russia Alone to eliminate ISIS in syria since ISIS ve got tactical support from US, turkey and others
Lol. When he talked about bringing Christianity back into Turkey, that was purely out of sarcasm embedded in hyperbolism-an exaggeration on emphasis. cheesy When codedly reinterpreted, what he actually meant was that, Russia would make life more difficult for Turkey as much as Syria is concerned.

On the side of tackling ISIS, that is nothing to worry about, as already, much gain is been made by the Syrian government and Russia to overthrow the takfiris sons of Lucifer, and there is little the US and the likes of Turkey can do to help them right now. The Russia air campaign together with Hezbollah and Iranian special Ops, plus with the Desert Hawk forces on the ground, have ensured that all Turkish, Saudi aids/support and all western Weapon air-drops for IS, are so far ineffective and a waste of money, as they are being destroyed from time to time.

Raqqa is the last major stronghold of ISIS in Syria, and the SAA back by the Russian Airforce are already moving in to retake the city. When you see a body like IS resulting to suicide attacks as in Fallujah-Baghdad, and Aleppo-Damascus, then know that the game is getting over for them. This is more evident in the fact that they are no longer controlling much of the territories they previously captured before the Russian engagement.

The tables have turned, and its now in ''game over'' mode. Bye bye takfiris, freedom to Syria and peace to Europe.

Putin Warns Turkey: Leave Syria The Hell Alone

Brave Vladimir Putin told a delegation from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that if Turkey does not stop funding and supporting ISIS in Syria, he will ‘bring Christianity back to Istanbul.’

‘Should Turkey not stop supporting ISIS, I will end the job that Tsar Nicholas II started.’

It is understood that Putin was referring to Tsar Nicholas II’s attempt during World War I to restore Constantinople (Istanbul) to the Christian world and protect Russian maritime security by liberating the Dardanelles and Bosphorus straits.
Putin also reiterated to the delegation that nothing could shake the blood alliance between Russia and Ukraine, despite the efforts of the UN and western media.

“Rising neo-fascism in Ukraine is like gangrene spreading across the European continent, and we, the people of the Russian Federation, are determined to stop this disease.”

‘ISIS was made in the USA, and I will destroy them’

Putin, a judo enthusiast who can bench 240, has been hitting the New World Order where it hurts, outgunning, outflanking and all-round out-manoeuvring the globalist cabal. He’s got them running scared, which is why they have gone into propaganda overdrive, pumping the mainstream media full of scare tactics, hyperbole, rumour mongering and downright lies in an attempt to distract the masses from what is really happening all around them.

The truth of the matter is that Putin is the only world leader defending Western culture and values in the face of violent and sustained attack.
Western governments are intent on implementing the New World Order agenda that relies on the destruction of traditional culture and values.
The New World Order ruling class have a tight grip over the mainstream media, as well as our food, water, and air supply, and they are actively dumbing down the masses. It is in their interests to destroy Western culture and values so they can usher us into the next phase of the New World Order master plan.

@Nairaminted. Not everybody is buying that idea anymore. No matter how they would try to cajole Finland to join the alliance, it won't work out. The reason is; NATO and America's warlike atangonism of toward Russia, is becoming more and more apparent to even the most novice of foreign political followers. Their tool of color coded revolution is becoming archaic and easily noticeable this days.

Nothing is at it seems anymore.

You hit the nail on the head as usual and what amazes me is these Eurocrats are all puppets. Watch the Neocons prop up another MH17 scary false-flag again, with pressure and see them all running and doing what vassals/puppets do the most.

Have you been following what is going on in France. It may be too early to judge but forget it, this is a colour revolution like and the target is Holande for refusing to act as Washington says particularly in Syria. France was suppose to carry out its bin laden scenario but went to Syria and bowed for Putin cos Putin was not going to stop.

Paris attacks were suppose to be its 9/11 but France bowed and washington got the message pretty clear. The message or body language being, we re not ready or going to confront Russia. because of Syria.

What's going on in France is Washington's reply as usual which controls all the non government organizations. Soros long time said this will happen to Europe since they have stop being a full puppet. Seems some of them are waking up to reality like you explained above.
Yeah! The events in France are something one shouldn't take for granted, but all the same, Hollande got it coming. When you lie with the Devil, be ready to be push down the bed, cos he is one who always want to have its way. The likes of Hollande who willingly chose to be puppet and took up side with American satanic foreign policy interest, as against European interest, despite knowing that the Ukrainian brouhaha wasn't provoked by Russia, is always likely to fail at some point, and for all i care, they can crash down to earth. If a powerhouse like France couldn't exert the exclusivity of its sovereignty in the wake of the Mistral ships debacle, then Politicians like Hollande have no business being in government Chambers, and he certainly deserved no pity, even though he wasn't quite a complete puppet.

But one thing is certain already: alot of people across the EU are waking up to reality, and in return, the various government is getting the pressure. You can fool all of the people some of the time, and you can also fool some of the people all of the time; but you can never fool all of the people all of the time.

European puppeteering and the cloak of American diabolic foreign policy enslavement, are being lifted and unveiled for what it is. The people can never be foolish all through. Thats why the human nature is always dynamic.

Foreign AffairsRe: French National Assembly Backs Resolution To Lift Anti-russia Sanctions by Appleyard(m):
Missy89:
The sensational thread refuse to mention that there are 577 members in the french lower house. if 101 participated in the vote (less that one fifth) Who cares?

France’s lower house of parliament adopted a resolution Thursday calling for the European Union to lift its economic sanctions against Russia, though less than a fifth of the chamber participated in the vote.

Of the National Assembly’s 577 MPs, 101 voted. Fifty-five voted in favor and 44 were against the resolution, which argued that EU sanctions against Russia should not be renewed when they expire on July 31.

So in short, 522 MPs are not in favor. lipsrsealed
The underlying fact here is that, Europe is increasingly becoming split between more hawkish and more
dovish countries regarding Russia. Sanctions hawks
including the UK, Nordic and Baltic countries want to
rollover curbs on the Russian energy, finance and
defence sectors that expire in July. At the same time, business communities in Germany, Italy, Greece and other countries in the European Union have publicly protested against the continuing sanctions. From Hungarian Viktor Orban, down to the very heart of some of the big boys themselves. They are begining to realise that thry have taken a very foolish and destabilizing pact against their own economy, for which the only victor is the US. Hence, many of them are now becoming more vocal and changing tacts on the sanctions.

Italian Prime Minister Renzi has made clear Italy’s
disagreement with the sanctions policy. Back in
December Italy managed to hold up the renewal of the
sanctions by a few days – a striking fact in itself. When
the EU Commission renewed the punitive measures for
6 months citing alleged unanimous agreement by EU
member states at ambassador level – Renzi reacted by
sacking Italy’s ambassador to the EU for failing to stand
up for Italy’s interests. Then the Italian Prime Minister
openly opposed North Stream 2 in an apparent attempt
to draw attention to the Germany’s hypocrisy in insisting other EU states maintain sanctions on Russia whilst forging closer economic links with Russia itself.
As a result, the relations between Merkel and Renzi have
hit rock bottom.

In France the government is coming under increasing
pressure from France’s powerful farm lobby. The Russian counter-sanctions have hit the producers of these products especially hard. French President Francois Hollande has recently called for sanctions on Russia to be lifted.

The introduction of EU sanctions against Russia and
countermeasures by Moscow may cost the French
economy several billion euros and about 160,000 jobs.
The Russian import ban has also contributed to the over-supply of milk and dairy products across the whole EU, with prices plunging to levels that are putting the entire European milk and dairy industry under severe strain. The result has been demonstrations by dairy farmers in France, Belgium and even normally quiet Britain. Denmark is calling for the sanctions to be lifted.

Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen has said that it
was Ukraine not Russia which is not implementing Minsk II, and that sanctions on Russia will be lifted unless it does so.

Stefano Maullu, member of the European Parliament
from Italy, Group of the European People’s Party member, said that the EU and US policy against Russia did not bring any positive results. «The US and part of the EU member states expected to influence Russia’s internal political decisions by imposing the sanctions, but they failed. Moscow reacted by imposing their economic counter-measures and the situation stalled», the politician reminded. The European Union lost, at least for a certain time, one among its most relevant partners, he said.

All in all, the EU suffered 90 billion euro losses in 2014-2015. Russian Deputy Economic Development
Minister Alexey Likhachev has said that the anti-Russian
sanctions and counter measures cost the European Union up to 40 billion euro in 2014 and another 50 billion euro in 2015 as a result of Russia sanctions over the crisis in Ukraine.

Its now very clear and undisputable opposition to sanctions
is mounting across Europe. The opposition will achieve a critical mass pretty soon to make the punitive measures unsustainable. With all the pressure the US exerts, there are limits to what it can do in Europe.

With all the facts mentioned above, it is becoming clear that the issue of sanctions is a glaring example of exacerbating differences between the US and the EU as their interests and goals diverges.

Those are the facts.

I can see where your "hatred" of Amerika stems from. You are a direct victim of its unbridled hubris and arrogance. For me, seeing Ghadaffi - a head of state - killed in cold blood and like an animal on the streets of Libya greatly troubled and angered me. It was like I knew him personally. And what made it worse that our totally clueless ministry of foreign affairs approved of the NATO "intervention" in Libya! I just shook my head in disgust on how we (black people) just handed over our freedom and any say in any matter once again to an imperialistic force.

I can't quite remember when I had a paradigm shift about Amerika but I think it was around 2006/2007 that things really dawned on me and I guess being the kind of person I am, my spirit had always told me right from the earliest wars that I was old enough to follow and understand -i.e. 1991 gulf war - that things aren't as simple as they appear .
It was what NATO did to Libya that amplified the hatred. They successfully turned the country into a failed state.

God bless you for your post and I am not patronizing you. My opposition to war comes from my youthful experience of growing up in a very bad section of Chicago north side ( Uptown ) when it was called Bucket of Blood. I saw few unnecessary killings. I have told stories about my two nephews who we grew up together. Both of them changed when they came back from Bush useless wars that almost bankrupt America. That's why I stay away from all the jingoistic people on Nairaland. I lost a close colleague who worked with Fitzgerald Investments on the 93 Floor of the North Twin Building. Like you said before, I have been robbed with a gun and I have been in an office in Miami where gunshots erupted all of a sudden. Believe me my brother, it's no fun. The worst hawkish leaders in America like Bush, Chenney, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowiz will never send their children to war. In conclusion, war is ugly and God hates ugliness.
Thats the painful part of it all. Their kids would be cruising in the most expensive cars and jets, attend the best of schools, while they continue to send peoples children to die untimely and unnecessarily in wars that have no benefit for the innocent American people. There are times i honestly feels sorry for some Americans when they are discussing topics online. Though some are ignorant of the reality, but most know the truth about the system. And so when folks turn the hatred on them because of the evils of the government overseas, one can only feel sorry for them. I understand the situation better because, am also in similar position, just that ours here is economical rotteness. There are times i feel ashamed and sad to discuss certain issues because, as a man with a conscience, the Id1otic and devils castrated political demagogues we have as politicians have virtually turned and stigmatized every Nigerian with the name of thieves, due to their unbriddled levels of corruption and unparallelled financial misconduct. They have successfully given to us a name that was never ours by birth or christianization.

When i see the faces of some politicians on tvs, both Local and International, especially that son of Satan called Bush who decieved the American people on Iraq, i begin to question why God is such a merciful Being. Believe me, am glad am not God, otherwise, i would have send those satanist back to the hell where they are suppose to be.

Bunch of uncircumcised Bamboos. Bush should be in Prison for War Crimes and lies he told Americans. Winnntch..

Americans are not one issue voter. That's what people don't understand. You will never know the impacts of war until you have been in one. I belong to a Peace movement in Chicago and most of our members are veterans of past America wars. It's not a fantasy to be against war. It's easy to type on Nairaland about all war relevancy, but if you fought in a war for five minutes, your jingoistic attitude will change. Personally to me being scared about my two nephews, it's bad for America's economy. America greatness to me is not her military might but her economic might and diversity.
You can say that again. Some folks who have not even experience an armed robbery attack once in their life, will just jump online and start typing nonesense how NATO or a particular country would easily wipe out another with nukes and or with conventional might. The way they will say it will make you think you are watching playstation. One hasbara troll is even here now praying IS which is killing people everywhere, should win, just because they hate a particular or group of nations. Some where even rejoicing that planes are being shot down. My brother, i just don't understand how some people's mind and conscience look like.
I remember when the Boston Bomb attack took place, a Cousin of mine who lives in Spain posted in his Facebook Page, ''payback is a b!tch, smell it.'' Men, i was shocked, and when i rebuked him for such a heartless comment, (being that am his senior,) he got angry, after some exchange of words, and till today, whenever i message him, he doesn't reply back. The reason for his hatred for America was that, a friend of his was killed by US Drone strike. So, the hatred. Just as many of us may have one reason or the other to hate America or Russia, what my cousin and many more on both side fails to realize is that, as his late friend is innocent of such terror-like American attack, so too are the victims of the Bostom terror bombing. The end result is that, its the innocent that dies mostly - this side or that side. And when you applaud their death, you authomatically become a part of that crime. This isn't trying to be holy, but the fact.
This realization is why i mostly dodge war threads on Nairaland. The only point of plausibility to me is, where the likes of terrorists like ISIS or Boko Haram are concern, i can vouch for their quick termination because, any group or body killing both women and children, beheading and burning in acid, bombing both Christians and Muslims alike, is, or are not worthy of life and deserve no human sympathy. These are the set of people who i call ''offsprings of the Serpent Seed'', the greatest mystery in the Bible. These are human-animals with no natural humanely acceptable ideology. I support that they should be quickly exterminated before they plung the rest of us into extinction.

But again, civilians are the ones also mostly caught in the cross-hair, just as we are seeing in Syria now.

Thus, anyway you may look at it, war is man's worst enemy. But the fact that some revere in it, beat my comprehension.

One war begot another. Let us say no more war. War is no fun. I am very anti war and that's my problem with the US leadership. Meddling in foreign problems. I almost lost two nephews of mine in George Bush useless wars of greed and vengeance. One of them relocated to Canada and took up Canadian citizenship. They are both physiologically scared for life. WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER.
100% right. Brother, there is nothing as ugly as a war. Only the little crisis we are seeing here in the Niger Delta, is like Satan has become a full blown human. How much more wars where fighter jets and ships are launching fire? God help us all.

But when the Syrian army retaliates, it will be their number one headline.
So much for unbiased press.
Now i understand why some countries ban some media organisations from broadcasting in their territory.

The Western mainstream press work hand in hand with the Imperialists and Neocons.
It is written: ''Yeah shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.''

Brother, you are free indeed.. Some of the media houses we have are the mouthpiece of Satan.

Missy89:
You are still talking rubbish.

I am surprised you are still arguing blindly really . When the treaty was signed. The Soviet Union and the Warsaw pact were still intact. What the Russians wanted is no military deployment in East Germany and none was deployed there until the soviet Union collapsed.

So how can you say Gorbachev meant no structures outside the east AND FURTHER DOWN EAST huh So are you implying that Gorbachev predicted the fall of the soviet union and the Warsaw pact before it happened and asked for a guarantee before the event? Does this even sound intelligent to you at all?

The Russians controlled the Polish military till the early 90s and had troops there up until 1993 (Northern Group of Forces) Armed with nukes. So you are telling me Gorbachev foresaw the soviet withdrawal from Poland in 1993 and asked for assurances of the west not moving east in 1990? Really? grin grin grin

I showed you a direct quote from Gorbachev himself saying that what they talked about was EAST GERMANY. You are inventing your own prove an theory. I typical crank debating tactics. So we should disregard what the Preisdent of the Soviet union said who should be in a good position to know what actually happened?
The same President of the Soviet Union that said this:

"The Americans promised that Nato wouldn't move beyond the boundaries of Germany after the Cold War but now half of central and eastern Europe are members, so what happened to their promises? It shows they cannot be trusted."

and was corroborated by Genscher, the German Foreign Minister that was in the thick of the action back then...

Genscher spoke with Shevardnadze. According to the German record of the conversation, which was only recently declassified, Genscher said: "We are aware that NATO membership for a unified Germany raises complicated questions. For us, however, one thing is certain: NATO will not expand to the east." And because the conversion revolved mainly around East Germany, Genscher added explicitly: "As far as the non-expansion of NATO is concerned, this also applies in general."

... And Shevardnadze replied that he believed "everything the minister (Genscher) said."

...and the Amerikans confirmed the RED LINES..

…we have the text of a State Department cable dated Feb. 1, 2008, from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow bearing the unusual title: “NYET MEANS NYET: RUSSIA’S NATO ENLARGEMENT REDLINES.”

grin grin My dear, you can only convince a kid, not your Husband..cheesy You and i know indebtly that there is no love between Russia and Nato, because the Cold War never died. And you know that to be true. My love, either way you may look at it, Russia was always going to be an enemy, and vice versa. It wasn't after the Crimean issue in 2015 that you mentioned. As far back as in 2007, Robert Gates, the US defence secretary, told a congressional committee that... America needed to boost military spending to counter myriad threats including the "uncertain paths of China and Russia". Why? Cold War mentality. Shocked? Even Gorbachev was amazed...

"Yet we see the United States approving a military budget and the defence secretary pledging to strengthen conventional forces because of the possibility of a war with China or Russia.
"I sometimes have a feeling that the United States is going to wage war against the entire world."

He said that in 2008, my love.

In 2008 also, the missile program was on course, to defend against who? Maybe Satan. And when the US was sending ships unnecessarily into the Black Sea, Russia responded by sending ships and nuclear bombers into Venezuela for an excercise, and you know what? Pentagon called it a provocation. You see, my love. The Cold War Mentality Never Died.

That is the bottom line.

So, take a rest my love. Your darling we need you in subsequent thread. Stay well, love. God bless.

It is only an uninform person that will believe the crap called ''moderate'' rebels. There are no moderate in Syria. They are all terrorist and the Russians should weed them out. The only painful thing in all these is that, civilians are the ones mostly caught up in the mirage. I just pray this whole thing end soon.
