I prefer the UK for the simple reason of security. Life is far much precious than anything you can think of, and I think the first poster aptly summarised the reasons, the chief of them being "police brutality" and street gangsterism. Ordinary Americans are easygoing people and very receptive, but the trigger-happy idiots and psychos masquerading as security agents, takes that shine away. Living in America as a black man entails 40% of your right to life is dependent on the senility of the average American security agent, while praying that you aren't caught in a criminal or gang related crossfire. Aside this, I don't see how else the UK is better than the US.

Don't put so much faith on the polls, dear Lucas. Not quite long, Trump was leading, and now, Clinton is. The thing is, polls keep changing like the minute indicator of a clock, and one should not solely rely on them to draw conclusions. This is one hell of a period of uncertainty. The man they say, is a mad man, but yet, he commands such huge support base: does it mean then that so much of Americans supporting him are equally mad? I don't think so. Well, the elections will tell, and who wins should be accepted as the duly choice of the people (provided the Bernie Sanders votes-like swinging doesn't happen again.) And believe me, its going to be a very keenly contested one: its not going to be easy the way people are predicting. Don't forget that this is one election year with a high percentage of "still undecided voters;" anything can happen at the last minute.

Its now a common thing that everything that happens whether in America, Europe, or even in hell, must involve Putin. The man is now a household name in the US and beyond. Its so funny the way they dragged him into the election matters in the US. But one overlooked fact is that, by frequently picturing and marrying Trump to Putin, the press are actually making him more popular, therefore indirectly working against Hillary Clinton. This reality was one of the contributive but myopically overlooked factor that made "brexit" instead of "brexStay," a reality. Deluded fake "David" Cameron, instead of solely concentrating on justifying the "stay" argument, based on sound and profound economic and logical reasons, was busy babbling about how "Putin would be the winner should the UK
vote to leave the EU." You need to see the various reactions of Britons that follows on the comment sections of the Telegraph and other British papers. Many potential voters immediately interpreted it as a mark of unseriousness, and concluded that Cameron and his "stay" team were insenitive towards the plight they face via the EU, rather pointing stupid fingers at Putin as an excuse to vote "stay". And as a result, some of them simply choose to vote "exit".

The same thing might just be happening now in the US. By giving so much attention to Trump while at the same time merging him with Putin, may have a catastrophic reverse of unexpected proportions. Propaganda always have a way of turning around and coming home to roost like a bad fowl: plus the fact that, people are no longer buying like before the Russia-hating and Putin bashing propaganda piece of dung the MSM have been trolling since 2013. The human mind is always dynamic, and the quicker the US learn this obvious fact, the better and safer the world would become. For you can fool all of the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can NEVER fool all of the people all of the time.

Interesting. The US endgame in Syria was to remove Assad and to carve out a Kurdistan from thence, together with certain territories of Turkey and parts of Iraq. This is also one of the reasons Erdogan is changing tables, but as for the US, with Russia on ground, the plan to topple Assad is now almost impossible, if not totally a failure. Therefore, the need to switch to plan B become the more necessary. The US planned coordination is a false one, but a right move that would keep the second option alive, in the sense that, by supporting the Kurds while working with the Russians who have also supported the Kurds against ISIS, the Yankees would still have a foothold on its plans to Balkanize Syria, if the plot to overthrow Assad fails completely. The Kurds declaration of autonomy last year is a clear signal of this reality. A balkanized Syria would completely weaken the Assad regime and would also put a dent on the Russian overt interference. Thus, it would be interesting to see the terms and conditions upon which the proposed coordination is to be based, such as, contact and non contact zones, the position of regime forces as it relate to the planned coordination, the varied interest of Israel and Turkey, etc; all these will go along way to determined the make or mar outcome of the said coordination.
Honestly, I just don't see how this proposed coordination is going to work because at a point, the regime forces will definitely strike at the US backed groups which, as a matter of fact, must definitely advance under the guise of fighting IS, and for which the US might be forced to defend when attacked, by counter strikes. Should this happened, it will then put Russia in a very awkward position to strike back as a counter measure to defend the regime, which has been its primary task since stepping into the conflict last year. The possibility that Russia and the US could come to that point of shooting each other, is very real.If anyone think this scenario isn't possible, just remember it has already happened not quite long when Russian air forces bombarded a US support base, upon claims that it has been used to launch attacks against regime forces. Believe me, the Syria situation is far from over, and I would be very surprise if such coordination records major success.

Another argument that can be validly advanced is that, the foreign intelligence of the two most powerful and most ardent geopolitical players in that region - the US and Russia - knew about the coup, and one appears to have acted either in direct connivance with, or in malicious indifference to the coup; while the other acted against the coup. The money didn't have coup stamped on it, but if we are to go by financial regulations, the EFCC should have been aware of the financial transactions, that is, if we are to go by the story; and should have been able to ascertain as to what purpose the transactions was being made, ditto our intelligence bodies, especially in these critical times of insurgency and terrorism in Nigeria.
If the story is anything to go by, i don't see why some big heads down here shouldn't been taking to the slaughter of incompetency and criminal negligence.
