My guy, if what the breeder said is true, then i'm sure he meant to say they are from good "poordigree"...Don't be deceived, those pups are only a lil different from the average mongrel...Truth be told, please don't take any offense here, just don't want you falling prey...A pup's features diminishes as it grows older. They might look a lil ok now but soon enough, they'll grow into long-necked, tiny fisted, pin-mouthed pets...#LET'S SAY NO TO IMPURITIES#

I'll just be blunt with you bro...Those are pretty pups you have there but they ain't good enough for breeding. They ain't top quality, not even close. The 1st one looks better though but still below standard for breeding. I'll advice you save up money and buy a very good GSD, soon enough you're gonna recoup your dough. But do it for the love and not for the dough. If you go ahead and buy those pups, you'll end up adding to the population of Nigerian Crossbred.

You're right...but notwithstanding, you don't need to pay attention to those critics. Your aim should be to try improve on every breed you have. You and I can make this work. If all breeders think the way I think, then very soon other African countries will sure wanna import from Nigeria.

That's a very good dog you have there!!! Nice One!!! Thumb up!!! But I think you need to be on the watch for down pastern. I don't know if it's the picture but I think there's something with the orientation of the paws. Please look out for that and treat asap.

You are missing the point here. There's what they call constructive criticism, it helps you grow and achieve greatness. As a matter of fact, I so much enjoy criticism especially when i'm the victim. It's a way of getting feedback responses on your breeds and it enables you work towards being a better breeder. I criticize a lot too but with a simple reason, I want us to frown on the habit circulating impure breeds. That's one thing that has been affecting Nigerian Cannine Standards and that's why people favor imported dogs over those bred in Naija.

Look at it this way...You sold your pups to innocent Nigerians. Soon the pups will grow to maturity and start producing pups too, Even if you mate that pup with the purest GSD, that doesn't make their offsprings pure. What you just did is adding to the pool of impurities in Nigeria. I don't want you to take this Personal. I started off somewhere too. But it would do you a lot good if you had sold all the pups and probably spent the money on a pure GSD pup, at least you know you have a pure bloodline and you can actually boast of what you have.

That's a misleading fact. Not all imported dogs are from a pure bloodline. And the fact that a dog is vet checked and registered does not necessarily mean they are from the purest bloodline. Of course there are a lot of purebred GSDs in Nigeria and a greater proportion of impure ones. All you need do is check out the dogs "pedigree", and some background checks to confirm your facts. The fact that people favour imported dogs over the ones bred locally is because majority of our breeders here ain't truthful with facts. All in the name of selling pups, they sell you all sorts of lies too. Although it's all over but that of Naija breeders is on the high.

Let me ask you, what's your definition of pedigree? You claim you have the history of the sire and dam, can you post the import papers and let's see? From what bloodlines are they from? And what kennels are they registered with? If you wanna sell a lie, sell it to an illiterate, someone with little knowledge on the topic, probably to some dude on your street. If you ain't a novice, or probably you wanna conceal the truth, you should know those pictures you posted are nothing close to a pure GSD. The fact that a dog shows a trait doesn't make it pure. I'll advice you stop attaching sentiments here and embrace the facts. And if I may ask, for how long have you been into breeding? From all you spat, it shows you don't know much about canines. So bro, stop ranting and pls give us a break!!!

@Kuzee...The stud you uploaded is a GSD no doubt, but every breed is measured by its purity. A GSD from the purest bloodlines could easily be identified by its poise and pose, build, bodice, temperament, carriage and the way the ears are positioned. You might have gotten a lot of criticism from breeders and pet owners that your stud isn't from a pure bloodline, that's one thing you cannever escape. That's the more reason you should strive to breed the best. My advice is this...Sell off all the pups you have now at the most reasonable price, although you might have commitments and responsibilities, try get a female GSD pup from a pure bloodline, that's enough investment. Soon enough you'll recoup your funds. And you will save yourself the trouble of being criticized each time you wanna sell your pups.

Igwe aka Minks is in USA, the pups are 12 days in these pictures. Yes I own the dam too. I will be posting pictures of her soon. The pups are for sale here in the States. They are all Cane Corsos, Corsos can have white spots on the chest or feet, the standard allows it. I am not crazy about the white spots on chests either. But if you look at their sire well you will see a very tiny spot. The tiny white markings I can live with.

I have uploaded a copy of their pedigree for you cause I know you will understand what it is, unlike the other guys on this site.

We have a lot of experts here on NL who's been into breeding for several decades. And also, find out the true meaning of "pedigree" instead of passing on wrong info to people...As far as I know, your dam is not traceable to a particular bloodline or lineage, neither is the sire. So what makes them pedigree? If you wanna advertise your pups, fine, no one is stopping you from doing that, but desist from passing on wrong information. Hey bro...No offense, need to be blunt here...From what I sense, you're not the dog type. You can't really get involved with your dog because you don't have a chemistry with him. Try build a relationship with your dog first, only then can you learn to live with him...
