In my experience, Westerners/oyinbo with 5 to 6 degrees, including 2 to 3 PhDs are not hung up with grammar. They focus on communication. So their students get good grades and excel. In 9ja where our own focus on grammar we cannot make any innovations.

these set of international mourners are usually quick to show themselves whenever things like this happen. they even grieve more than the relatives of the dead celebrity. and each day in our own backyards, children are killed. people are abducted. Christians are executed in the north, and many other things go wrong and nobody puts in emphasis like they do whenever it happens to big names.
