Any branch in Edo? |
Alekkz:Actually first private university in Nigeria we should add. Long before others. Plus it has medical school too. Only few private schools have one. Schools have to be in SW to be top. Some people just do not hype things like others. |
When someone is generally inconsiderate. Like coming late always, never clearing up his trash, enjoys your money but will never spend his, takes your kindness for granted/stupidity, Etc. |
Kenon9:Tor! Despite the relatively high number of blacks who have played in EPL with coaching badges, how many land manager or management roles in English clubs? Extremely few. The most they do is punditry on TV. We all know what the reason is. Emenalo did well to even get that far. And he did a jolly good job. He will find a better role in sports, business or elsewhere. His CV is strong now. |
Okuda:Only these days you can say that. In the days before social media and GSM, it was extremely possible not to know how much people had changed in the last 5 to ten years since you left home. The days the whole of Nigeria had 500,000 landlines. Of which some individuals alone had 3 or more lines in their homes & offices. Do not under-estimate how large sums of money change people quickly. Some fathers who had been monogamous (but secretly fantasised about having several fine ladies) suddenly start carrying women up and down once abroad money starts coming. Even carrying the women with the car the son or daughter sent him from abroad. ![]() Some mothers start joining associations and being made "chairwoman" during events. And buying expensive lace material to wear. Many people I know experienced the above and worse even. Na today? Even now people can still find it hard to believe how some loved ones changed suddenly, to embezzle their hard earned money. Until you have tested a person with a good amount of money, do not believe you actually know them. The love of money is the root of all evil says the Bible. |
CROWNWEALTH019:Well, maybe Jonathan is not a typical Nigerian. Or way ahead of the Nigerian time. Jonathan saw the abysmal poverty in the North. How the poor wallowed in ignorance compared to their elite. I am not saying people are not poor in Otuoke, Bayelsa or SS in general. But the scale is just humongous in the North. Hence Boko could recruit so easily in a massive way. Should he have ignored all that Northern poverty there? So maybe Jonathan is more patriotic than all those shouting change up and down. Long after Jonathan is gone, future generations will be attending those federal universities he built all over the North, in Ekiti, Otuoke and elsewhere. |
Isoko1stSon:Do not mind him. At least people could feed themselves, 14 new universities, train brought back. The impossible to repair Lagos-Benin road became smooth (a journey that many times took me 9 to 12 hours under OBJ govt, entering forest at Ore and risking kidnap), FOI bill, respect for rule of law, efforts to abolish Nigeria's biggest scam (oil subsidy), TSA, booming economy to become Africa's largest and agric sector, airport refurbishment (MMA in best shape since early 1990s), etc. APC always pooling wool over Zombies' eyes. Did fighting Boko cost ordinary water? Aside Dasuki who booted the incompetent Buhari out in 1985, that Buhari is now detaining out of vandetta, we cannot see any tangible results of so called anti-corruption. Where is the so-called recovered money? A govt that cannot provide paracetamol or syringe in Aso Rock clinic, swept Buratai Dubai mansions under carpet, Oke scandal and Maina pension scandal and many more should just shut up. |
Do they pay tax on losses? Companies posting losses due to bad economy, how will they pay tax? In a country without proper records, how do we know figures exactly? Many CAC registered companies are actually not trading. |
Mama de Mama. Ekabo ma. ![]() |
Portgas:Did the Shi'ites form Boko Haram? Or Boko are the peaceful ones? Are Boko the real Muslims? Even if Shi'ites are not Muslims, does that justify extra-judicial killing in the hands of the police?? |
Pure injustice. The more innocent killed, the less our chances of peace and progress. Because their blood will be a curse on the nation. No belief, sect, creed, tribe or whatever deserves the punishment of death. |
Mynd44:Abi o. Instead of just simple honesty to encourage other TTC couples to take the right step. |
Nigeria makes everything hard for its citizens. Almost every law is meant as a punishment when implemented. |
I think the man lost it. I hope no divorce was looming. Very sad. |
joseo:Tor! For a lady, as she gets older, her pool of potential hubby shrinks. Because most 9ja ladies won't marry guys younger or less economically buoyant than them. And the older guys over 34 or loaded are more likely to be married. So it gets harder with time. Just simple logic and stats. When it really gets late and pressure from family & friends mount, a lady will end up marrying a man far less eligible than the ones she shunned in her younger years. Her options were far more 5 to 10 years ago. |

ChiefPiiko:You did not add " I dey my house, come and beat me". ![]() Seriously 9ja is messed up. People collect all kind of currencies, defunct, foreign and all. As long as he did not use to try to commit fraud like passing it off as British Sterling or such, then no crime there. |
engineerboat:Remind them. They are working hard to sweep serious matters under the carpet. Publishing a list that federal character makes mandatory anyway. I wonder how the list will return the money Buhari paid for medical treatment in Uk. |
ok |
YoungRichRuler:It seems you understand the Bible only superficially. Who was mandated to pay tithes even in the old testament, under Mosaic law precisely? What kind of professions were mandated? Who received those tithes? We seem to just accept anything, without knowing it in detail. Christians are not under Mosaic law. And also not under pre-Mosaic law of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Though Abraham & Jacob tithed, it was not on regular wealth or income. Abraham tithed his spoils of war. And Jacob promised a tithe if God kept him safe. These were specific situations. (Gen. 14:20; 28:22). Because people are arguing that tithing existed before Moses. So even if we are not under Mosaic Law, what of Pre-Mosaic Law? We also are not under many sections of it. That is why circumcision or burnt offering are no more needed. The new testament talks about everything regarding giving to widows, orphans, the poor and other aspects of Christian life. How could Jesus, Peter, Paul and the early preachers have missed mentioning tithing if it was mandatory upon us? Simply because modern Christians are not part of the theocratic nation of Israel, hence liberated from certain Mosaic & pre-Mosaic laws including circumcision and many others. We need to remember that early Christians wondered if Christianity should be preached to biological descendants of Abraham only. But ultimately recognised Jesus' mandate to reach out to all the inhabited earth. Matthew 24:14. Leviticus 27:30-34 clearly states how tithe should be done. Numbers 18:20-21 states who should receive it. Deut 12:17-18 and Deut 14-28-29 talk about the whole package of tithes, giving and gifts. Estimate is that all may amount to about 22% of wealth/harvest, not even 10% as mandatory upon the Israelite. So we cannot just pick one convenient part not supported by Jesus' teaching because it suits us and make it a doctrine. Yes 2 Timothy 3:16-17 makes it clear that all scripture is God-given and therefore important in training, teaching, correcting, disciplining Christians, etc But Jesus also liberated us from certain parts in real and practical Christian life. And re-iterated the parts we must keep. Like the Ten Commandments. It is easy to say "whatever, I am not complaining about the money". But is it not important to you that your church should not spread false doctrine?? |
MirJay:Has that hindered Dangote, Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Richard Bronson, etc? Instead Gates is spending billions on the poor who really need it. First of all, is tithing mandatory according to the scripture after the death and resurrection of Christ? Is there a curse attached as many churches preach daily? If not such church leaders are preaching false doctrine. Which is not acceptable unto God. Nobody is saying Christians should not assist their church. Some can even assist with more than the value of the tithe. But any true church has both a moral and religious duty to stick to biblical rules and teaching. Not make up ones for own financial benefit. |
Strange. |
Should this not be given to a zoo? |
Corruption everywhere. |
Op have you ruled out VVF/ birth complications/anatomical issues, diabetes and infection? What did the gynae/urologist say? Only after these can you say you have tried everything. |
It might sound weird but makes sense. Go back to millennia and centuries ago when a family of a man, 3 wives and 17 kids may be living and sleeping in one small hut. Just imagine the amount of fart circulating all night. Inhaled but not perceived during sleep. In the days diet was full of roughage that produces much fart. The body must have found a way to make good use of it. Nature is very innovative. The strong negative response to smell is a fairly recent thing. How many people 400 years ago had easy access to perfumes, perfumed cream and soap? And even regular supply of abundant clean water. |
lady2sexy:Yep. See the video below. http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/news/a50543/how-does-male-to-female-surgery-work/ In male to female surgery is just reversing the natural process. All embryos begin life as female. Only in development under influence of hormones do ovaries pull down to become testes and clitoris extends to become penis. The final look of created vulva can even look more "perfect" than the original one. However the new female will not have a womb or ovaries or Fallopian tubes to make conception possible. And of course breasts can be constructed. Surgery (feminization laryngoplasty, costs roughly $7,500 in USA) can be used to change voice pitch to a more female one. Womb transplantation is mooted as a possibility. Could become reality in men to women transgender in 10 to 15 years. Only in women without womb (e.g lost through accident/injury/surgical complication) has transplant been successful so far. Like in University of Gothenburg Hospital in Sweden. |
Some 9ja leaders mumu sha. Anyway judging by their performance in power, the bar for being a national asset is very low. No wonder the rubbish he spewed. Commiserate with Tinubu by all means. But no hyperbole necessary. |
Dasuki suffering (denied bail) for booting out the certificateless man in 1985. ![]() Meanwhile.....Abacha is not corrupt-: Buhari. |
