Guyman02:Most are too lazy to. Mandela is today called a hero in the West because virtually all the wealth in the SA remain in white hands. With a sprinkling of a few black wealthy elite. So that it will take generations for most blacks to escape social benefit trap. Mandela is only a hero to blacks because the West say so. If he had ruffled Western feathers in favour of black South Africans, Western media would have somehow succeeded in making Africans see him as a villain by now. Even if by engineering policies that will affect black South Africans very negatively. In fact in SA, 15 to 20 years from now a white person will again be the president. Nothing wrong with it if that is what voters want. The only issue is the way it will happen. Poverty of blacks will continue in SA for too long. Due to the wealth and land remaining in white possession. With time most blacks will lose trust in black leaders and presidents. Exactly the indomie generations that didn't witness Apartheid to realise how it set up blacks for poverty for several generations to come. Since black leaders will not risk Zimbabwe situation (Western sanctions/condemnation) to take drastic steps to redistribute resources. |
winterfell007:No oooo. They should go to Olx. ![]() |
Mairi:My dear, it is not wasting o. I guess some dude is already smacking his lips in advance. At the right time. ![]() My dear it is still prostitution. Whether she gets $3 or $3m dollars for it. |
Actually many people out there communicate with invisible entities. Others communicate with people they have never met (or even dead), no electronic or social media contact. Among those that take these communications seriously, many will need "psychological medical" help at some point. ![]() |
Na wa o. Very awful. Do not be surprised if the dad was also abused as a kid. As kids, lots of men were abused by one "aunty, neighbour, friend, inlaw, etc. It is shocking how many male friends had such an experience growing up. You have to secretly contact child protection services. Some have already mentioned Mirabel. The child's mother needs to know. The girl will need counselling. |
Done it before. If they decided to mess up, that is their own thing. Trust is a difficult thing. But a woman/man has more than enough avenues to cheat these days anyway. From a man's perspective, you trust her with your food and drink and hence your life. Which is more important? Having said that I cannot trust just any friend. A friend you do not know well enough can overpower her and molest her. In a society like 9ja where ra.pe is stigmatized, she might decide to keep quiet about it. But scarred for life. Although from the replies here, it seems people trust others far less these days. Which implies less faith in society & people in general. Funny that this is happening at a time that religiosity is overtly displayed everywhere. |
richard69:Tor! Both go hand in hand. A thief who cannot lie is not a thief. That virginity story sef get k-leg. She's just using the virgin story to claim innocence and press the guy's mumu button. ![]() We don hear all that virgin story before. Na 10-lane expressway he go find there. ![]() She will just tighten her pelvic floor muscle when the guy first begins poking her and feign pain/agony. And relax it like two minutes later. Na today? Only that OP's story sounds made up. |
The real whistle blowers should forget about the money and run for their dear lives. Because at this rate, if corrupt security services officials do not eliminate them, the real looters of the money will. |
Slaveman343:There is nothing like tithing in the teaching of early Christianity. Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses. The bits of the old laws that we need to keep were re-iterated by Jesus. Like the ten commandments in the Old testament. Cash was never demanded from those who were not land workers. Money already existed before Moses. The Bible would have clearly mentioned it. Or instruct farmers to give 10% of money got from their sale of produce to God. It never happened. Jesus scolded the Pharisees that they paid tithes but didn't do the greater work of God. Of which from Jesus' preaching, love is the most important law. The very moment Jesus died, we were liberated from old laws such as circumcision. Jesus preached those that should remain. There are many ways to give to the church and the needy as early Christians were instructed. Tithe is not one of them. Abraham paid tithe on war booty to Melchizedek. A specific occasion. Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that he paid any tithe on his personal wealth. Jacob promised to pay a tithe if God kept him safe and guided him. There is no where in the Bible that confirms that Jacob actually paid the tithe. Being a good servant of God let us assume that he did. But nowhere in the Bible says Jacob's tithe was an ongoing one. To say that "oh God has blessed me, I can pay tithe, even more than 10%" is pure ignorance cum hypocrisy. Why do what is not Biblical (since not incumbent open Christians) and ignore Jesus' command of love as the greatest law? Like not giving to the poorest people around you as a show of love. The Primate just indirectly condemned churches by saying no curse or punishment awaits those who do not tithe since it is not compulsory. Because the fear of damnation/curse is what the vast majority of churches use to compel people to pay tithes. |
Raising the dead. Power over death is not easy. |
Fact. |
Ok. Let us wait for when they will visit his niece, omodo/house girl. NL FP really dry these days. |
Johnrake69:Tor! Somebody or some people have already siphoned the money. They are looking for ways to lock him away. If not careful we will hear that he committed "suicide". 9ja matter is never pure. |
Pavarottii:Nor mind them. Whether GEJ did well or not, people shouting his name to come back certainly feel he was better Bubu. Meaning that GEJ's prediction has come true: he said that after leaving office, people will come to see his achievements. It took less than two years to happen. Latest when foreign airlines/companies left our shores, businesses folded up and poverty got worse. |
Benita27:That is always difficult to rule in or out. How many junior female officers (married or single) can avoid such advances from the highest ranking officer in NPF? It is always hard to know how it began, harassment, compulsion, threat or mutual love. It is just a matter of common decency to avoid such affairs in public office. Because it would be a bad example and conflict of interest is hard to avoid. Unless the IG was single. |
Very funny & sad times we live in. |
Billyonaire:He's wrong. This is a street market day. It happens in many cities across Europe. Including Liverpool street Market, Dalston, fish market and several others. Many of the those using brush and refuse vehicles to clean up after market closes in the evening are also foreigners. Anti-immigrants will find anything. The same person talking, immigrants might be looking after his grandmother in the nursing home. The grandmother he sees maybe only once a year. A job not paying high enough for his fellow whites to do. I know his type. |
Gerrard59:Why not? To secure their investment. It does not stop them keeping their SA/UK/NL/ancestry nationalities. ![]() |
We should be very careful with land matter. It is a finite resource. Especially in SE where landmass is small relative to population. By the time these guys acquire vast areas of land and their kids/grandkids become citizens, local people will not have the land back. We do not want another Zimbabwe situation decades from now. Even if they are given the land for 25 or 30 years officially, we will not know when corrupt politicians and govt officials will change the documents to 99 or 500 years ! ![]() |
SparroicSparrow:At what age did she start having the kids? Looks like one of those teenage moms that have kids with several men before they turn 25. |
OK, seen it. Which body augmentation is next? Hope your kids and parents are proud of you. |
Well, na hybrid child you dey expect dear. A di-fatheric child. Congrats. ![]() |
Uniquejames:It is just genetics, like lottery. Maybe some of their original ancestors got infected by a virus similar to HIV. So over millenia, some of the population gradually developed resistance by deleting the gene. Perhaps many were wiped out by it and some survived. But on the other hand we blacks ought to have been at the forefront of HIV research, but we are not. We wait for the West to do all the work. He who does the job controls the narrative. We often complain about the narrative. Another case is sickle cell. No doubt, West Africans and people of WA descent are most affected. Though other Africans also suffer from it. It is not all conspiracy. Remember too that whatever illness one has, poor nutrition, poor healthcare system and poverty make it worse. These factors affect us more too. And they are things that we ought to be able to change too. |
soberdrunk:0 Even some police with MAC 4 gun still pull uniform and pick race when they hear "armed robber!" Yet you expect ekuke to wait. For where? ![]() |
benifeanyi00556:First of, one of the guys or both might have concealed the truth. Did you see the test results of the two people? I can tell you authoritatively that many men & women are positive and know it but have refused to tell their husband/wife. Women are even more scared of been thrown out. On the other hand, just under 1% of all people & 10% of Europeans have a genetic resistance to some strains of HIV virus. Yes, men are just slightly less at risk. Slightly less surface for entry compared to the larger female area of exposure. |
internationalman:But fact is only about 10% of the population has been tested. And many of those only happened due to maternity/pregnancy issue. From the 10% tested, the rate is fairly high. So until we have tested more, we cannot dismiss it either way. Also in a country with a low life expectancy like 9ja (52 years), most infected people will die of other causes before they can even be diagnosed with HIV. Because in many people, it can take up to 20 years for AIDS symptoms to show markedly. A tiny portion of people do not contract HIV through sex the very first time sleeping with an HIV infected person. Like circumcised men without open wound in their manliness might just get away with it once or twice. Not that men should rely on such "rare luck" to avoid catching AIDS. An extremely tiny number of people actually have innate resistance to certain strains of HIV virus that use CCR5 receptor to enter and infect cell. People with a mutation of the gene (Delta 32 mutation) that codes for CCR5 receptor (call it docking point/entry point) will usually not catch the strain that uses that receptor. But might catch HIV strains that uses another entry point. Around 10% of Caucasians have that resistant gene but under 1% of mankind as a whole. It was thought that taking bone marrow from a resistant person to give an HIV patient could cure him. But it is now most likely that it is the complication effect of the graft/transplant that kills the the HIV in the system. Not the Delta 32 gene effect from the donated bone marrow/stem cell.. |
No biggie. Standards in everything have fallen over the years. At least that individual might be multi-lingual: Hausa, Arabic, English and maybe fulfude or another language in addition. Failure to adopt our own languages as medium of instruction is the reason. Very bright people with a poor command of English (it a second language after all) in all walks of life throughout Nigeria. |
scobaba:It seems you do not understand the traditional institution. You certainly have never gone into the palace of a major king and see the working inside it. To begin with, local people trust their king more than the police or government/court to settle disputes. The King's court is busier than an average high court where adjourning cases and lawyers filing endless injunctions and motions delay cases for years. These cases include inheritance, land, inter-community, family and other disputes. Kings who were diplomats, military officers, businessmen, academics and so on had a quieter life in the professions compared to being king. Kings also quietly intervene in feuds between politicians and political parties. These feuds if unchecked can heat up the polity and cause deaths of supporters in both camps. It is good to know something before you comment on it. That you are not in the palace to see what they do doesn't mean they are idle. It is far different from obi or Igwe still wearing a crown at the dining table or even in bed that you see in Nollywood. ![]() |
Odingo1:I wonder. When was the last time anyone saw a clean abattoir? It is full of flies & filth. Even fresh meat in the market has flies all over it. Unhygienic condition of foodstuff/meat causes a lot of deaths in Nigeria yearly. |
Leon90:Ol' boy, Haba! If you sabi am proper you suppose to understand na. When you travel comot for house, you go know say jungle don mature. Man must wack jare.
