Your parents want the best for you. But they have not considered many things. At 19 no need to hurry into marriage. It brings honour ok, but what if you end up cheating on him with a guy you truly love, like during NYSC and everyone finds out? Or You have to divorce at 22? Won't that be a big dishonour? Being from your mom's tribe does not mean he will be a good hubby. There are good & bad ones from every tribe. Meet somebody who they respect, like their pastor to discuss it. Make them reason with you dear. |
Aguveso:Well, bros we are not strangers you know. Since you have many property for sale, I could not have guessed you owning this particular one. Did you do the raft foundation yourself or you bought it already done? It is about quality of it here. Is it really within the excision area? Some sellers claim excision that covers nearby area but may not cover the plot proper. ![]() |
Mimzyy: ![]() Maybe. But women now beat men hands down in cheating. Like two acquaintances of mine who wanted to bring their kids from Nigeria to UK. When paternity test required by the High Commission was done, the kids they had in Lagos before relocating to UK were not theirs! So if they never needed paternity test in life, they would never have known. Another person I know, all three kids his pretty wife in Nigeria had for him belong to other people: the man's very close friend (2 kids) & the man's cousin (1 kid). He is now late. If not because he had a kid with his ex-European wife, he would have died childless. He died of heart attack, around age 50. To survive such an all round betrayal is not easy. A sizeable number of kids born in Nigeria (especially in the cities) are products of cheating by the woman/wife. ![]() And more & more are coming to light daily as paternity test centres are seeing now. Leave trash for LAWMA my dear. |
danduj:England call up na beans? Gabriel Agbonlahor made same mistake. He managed just three appearances for England senior team. Instead of regular AFCON & world cup appearances Super Eagles could have offered him. They are often deceived to believe their hype. |
RIP. A sad case indeed. And Nigerian authorities will do nothing about. |
Qmerit:Haba! Na kweshion she ask na. Your reply might enlighten her and many of us here. A lot of ladies struggle with this matter: whether to chose wealth and immediate comfortable life over true love. |
Annie939:Ol' girl, millions of ladies across the world have no feelings for their rich and famous hubby. But they have guaranteed themselves a charmed and comfortable life. Everything has a price my dear. ![]() |
yarimo:Really? Hahahaha! If you have never seen such it is really a big surprise. I cannot imagine any average person that watches international TV channels not having seen it. But note, journalists from foreign countries that operate a different system often call him former president. But American people and those who know never put former when introducing him or addressing him directly live. In newspapers it is different mostly. They put "former". Dude you are the one who seek this knowledge, put in some effort. Try YouTube. I have known this fact for decades already. ![]() |
Ok. Why is the owner selling it, having done raft foundation? |
Ok |
Annie939:And you're very correct gorgeous. ![]() |
In life, be careful what you wish for. Buhari didn't need the stress of governing Nigeria at this age. The country is way too diverse, wild & unruly to try piloting in old age. To be fair he himself admitted that he cannot do much at his age & wished he returned many years ago. But why did he get tempted to take it on? Power? This man has aged too much compared to May 2015, while GEJ is looking fresher. |
yarimo:Since we copied American political system blindly, that's how it is in America. It is still President Clinton, President Bush, President Carter, etc. Even Trump still calls Hilary Secretary Clinton. If we revert to our original Westminster system, then it will become Former Prime Minister, once PM out of office. Until then, if ever. |
Good. Anybody who gives out freely, whether religious persons or atheists have to be commended. All of us have to do more charity. In fact we needed sustained charitable groups that focus on various aspects: child/maternal health & research, Homelessness, Child Welfare, Abuse/sexual molestation, Defense against injustice, Animal Welfare, General Health, & others. Some already exist but we need them more focused and concerted. Vanity NGOs that vanish within a few years are not good enough. |
Fabulosdave01:Maybe. Maybe not. Was it not OBJ who spent around $20 billion dollars on light that created modest Mw or similar amount on roads that we never saw that was a saint? Or IBB that had $12 billion Gulf war oil windfall vanish, or Abacha that Buhari said was not corrupt but his billions abroad are still being repatriated as we speak? IBB & OBJ both live in Hilltop mansions in Minna & Abeokuta. Na today? We have fooled ourselves and displayed tribalism, bigotry & double standards enough. Leave trash for LAWMA jare. ![]() |
fkdmods:I cannot understand why poor people always boast about wealth. Those really rich people I know ride bicycle about. You will never hear them boast. Your attempt to form rich is what gives you away. And that is what I am lampooning you for. Because you came up with talk of poverty. By the way, my generation is not looking for food. God has done that. Take your food to those kids under bridge in Lagos. They need it. Since you have so much food to give out. |
Fabulosdave01:Well, all the governors wanted the money shared as many could not have been able to pay salaries. When he wanted to end subsidy scam and save money by scrapping fuel subsidy, did you support him? APC went into propaganda overdrive and zombies followed suit. You reap what you sow. We that supported him were shouted down rudely. Happy birthday sir! Those who said governance is not rocket science have now found that it not only rocket science but black hole too. And they are now wallowing in the darkness of a blackhole. ![]() |
fkdmods:I can imagine how Buhari induced poverty is frustrating you. Pele. ![]() At least in around 6 years of Jonathan's regime light was more available, economy grew massively, we became Africa's largest economy, myself & many people I know invested and employed at least a few people. So what is your point? That Jonathan caused all the coups that derailed our democracy at critical times in our history & reversed gains made? Only sustained democracy where the loopholes are gradually blocked & faults (corruption, impunity, etc) in the system gradually fixed, anchored on the rule of law can bring sustained prosperity. Not draconian moves, adhoc policies & voodoo economics that drive out investors. Fact is Buhari's ineptitude has caused a great amount of poverty & suffering in the land. People like me who actually provide for others know it. Poverty is not the portion of those God has blessed, as no man can curse them. Work hard, be objective, be independent & don't be a mere follower. While sipping cognac (a poor man's idea of "bigmanity" ), mind your liver. The waiting list of liver transplant patients is long. ![]() |
Not much different from a carnival train, is it? Or is it because it is not Rio or Louisiana? ![]() |
Very nice. Far better than cucumberology. ![]() |
baby124:If he has any. If he does, can you actually call those "parents"? We should all be responsible about our sexual activities & avoid bearing unplanned & unwanted kids. |
fkdmods:Funny thing is people like you who must have bribed your way through life from WAEC magic centre to bribing lecturers accuse others of corruption the most. I have done everything I have done in countries where all is done on merit. I do not wallow in your poverty either. Jonathan has been alleged to be corrupt. Have you seen any proof? Dasuki being docked is no proof. After all under Shagari, there were corrupt people but no proof against him was found. Going further back, in the 1970s & !980s, several investigations against Buhari's oil Billions in London Midland Bank were conducted, alleged to be reason he quickly overthrow Shagari. To avoid being fvcked up. And did everything to silence Umaru Dikko, who knew too much. Including kidnapping him in London like Boko Haram do today. We know the story behind it first hand. From close quarters. Not from newspaper. However, he was not convicted. To an indomie generation like you, it maybe just a story. But not to me. So shouting from rooftop fueled by tribalism & sentiments is still no proof that Jonathan was corrupt. |
fkdmods:They have been highlighted enough here but having no good counter, your likes resort to agbero insults, name calling, tribalism, bigotry, unproven allegations of corruption and outright denial. So why bother since you already know those achievements? Except you just crawled out from under Olumo rock. ![]() |
HQuadreal:We seem to believe she's older (but looks younger) seeing her beside Olu Jacobs. But remember Olu Jacobs is 19 years older than her. She's 55. For an average Nigerian of 55, she looks good. But for a well-to-do educated lady, I think the hype is a bit too much. Although I admire her carriage & excellent manners. For ladies who say they cannot marry an older guy (unless he has loads of money of course), they should look at Joke & her hubby. Love is much more important. |
Haba? Ah ah. They should take am easy na. How can anybody hope to successfully twist this story? |
wiZbanky:So head to head advantage does not count here? But still, better to win two games and still go out than lose two games. It gives confidence for the future. |
NaijaMutant:Even Madam Aisha is a Igbo. And those in Sokoto. At this rate, same time next year, only Igbos will be left in 9ja. North, South, East & West. ![]() Btw, Wailers form fee is now 27m Naira only. Same as Bubu's "borrowed" money for presidential primaries form. ![]() Caveat: all applicants will be thoroughly screened for symptoms of Zombieism. ![]() |
onyenze123:God forbid, people maybe walking around with big heads & kwashiorkor body. ![]() People think corruption is something you can fight so easily. It is a major economic sector in 9ja. ![]() You have to strengthen institutions, push for rapid growth & better incomes generally. Give people hope. Singapore & Malaysia did that and today corruption is minimal & rightly seriously punished. But as it is the economy looks rudderless, inflation through the roof & people groaning. You cannot motivate hungry people to walk with you. |
Very sad. RIP. |
He might be truly innocent. In this recession maintaining a gf is not easy. Some just prefer Pay-As-You-Go. ![]() |
So this story did not make FP? University is clearly not for everyone. Nor be by force. |
BamiAutos:Thank you. |
