ezebrightike:Hmmm......... I think say na only me dey think so o. As first lady, she was busy visiting IDP camps & others. Being busy was good for her. Except Buhari gives him a cabinet post soon. Abuja would suite Iara. |
It is possible, depending on location. But I cannot buy that house with that repulsive colour. Very tasteless. Congrats to him though, whatever the price. |
Good. He should give another big post to an indigene of Edo Central next. |
Dfavouredone:Nor mind the mofo. ![]() |
Eastactivist:After all the Hullabaloo Hullabaloo, hullabaloo Dem come dey dress like forest guard Forest guard, forest guard Shebi na so dem go rule the State o The state, The State ![]() |
chigoizie7:Blame Ericsson ke? Have you forgotten Jonathan? He will blame Jonathan & our dear Dame Pat for all the economic woes since 1914 amalgamation. ![]() |
Zone-Bees be like: it is Jonathan who destroyed 9ja economy, ineffectual, drunkard fisherman from Otuoke, clueless, yada yada yada. Like a recorded message playback. ![]() I prefer a drunkard that can make a country's economy the largest on the continent than a teetotal & a kunu sipper that brings poverty, joblessness, misogyny, infringement of individual rights/democracy, inflation, free-falling currency & constant blaming of others but own-self. ![]() |
RIP dude. |
Ryabcool:Well, if the North that is not trusted either can form alliance with SW or SE at will, why can't SW & SE try to achieve a common cause through a loose alliance? SE & SW mistrust is hurting the whole South & in deed the whole country. If the North can have a full religious law code & way of live with , maybe Boko will have little attraction & chance to thrive. SE, SW & SS can pursue their own destiny with more freedom. But right now, SW/SE are playing into the hands of Ahmadu Bello's openly expressed ideology: never to allow the entire South have control over their destiny and remain Uthman Dan Fodio's conquered territory. |
mrsfavour:That is like childhood/ancestral home. Having held big banking/finance positions for years and topshot in Oshiomole's govt, he would most likely be living in a swanky pad somewhere in GRA. He probably has not lived in this house for decades. ![]() |
Mistrust between SE & SW is the problem with 9ja. The North are just capitalising on that mistrust. They using SW & SW and dump in turn. While SW & SE are busy spiting each other. How long will both keep chopping off their nose to spite their face? If the entire South come together & demand to restructure Nigeria, the North will have no choice. |
Please show interior & engine. |
achyc2002:Good. This should be promoted better by everyone. Some people in Ivory Coast are now producing chocolate for export. Early fruiting trees will encourage young educated farmers who can get together & go into processing too. Even if for local consumption at first. |
Topmaike007:Nice. How old are these trees? I was expecting many ripe pods as we're now in harvest season? Or already harvested. Which fungicides did you use? Copper Sulphate, cuprous oxide/perenox, or metalaxyl/Ridomil? Is Gamalin 20 pesticide still in use too? |
RIP |
ZKOSOSO:Abi o. The best defense against aggression, jealousy & wickedness is simplicity, meekness & trusting in God. Despite all the hatred & lies directed at GEJ both in office & out of office, he has maintained dignified silence or replied with utmost civility. In an aggressive, bombastic & tribalistic "gra-gra" clime like ours, GEJ's attributes are misconstrued as cowardice or cluelessness. No wonder our society is violent. All those who bought into the lies against GEJ, from Cameron to Obama, are all leaving office fearing for their legacy. While GEJ is clearly a shining light of democracy alongside the likes of John Kufuor, in a continent long battered by despots. Whom God has blessed, no man can curse. |
Nna ehn. Change is the only constant. To own this car in those days was like owning G-Wagon today. ![]() One of the most solid cars MB ever made. White, blue or yellow were super beautiful. A good collector's item. Only problem is maintaining a classic car in 9ja can be hard a bit. |
ephi123:True. But in Ghana, Fair Trade practices have improved income of some farmers, so it can only get better. Especially as awareness grows. Even with the Cocoa co-operative of those days, many farmers still made good money. |
Seun:You're right Seun. People want to go into cocoa farming but they think it takes too long to fruit. The more info we get here, the better. Moreover, Cocoa House in Ibadan was built majorly with cocoa money. It played a big part in propelling SW to be the region with some of the best educated in Africa in the 1950s to 70s. The high level of highly educated people in Ekiti & Ondo is still a testament to cocoa. Pa Awo couldn't have done it without cocoa. So cocoa here is symbolic for our neglected agric sector generally. |
Good. Let them discover plenty of it. That way the North will finally agree to resource control. They might even secede completely if they feel the South stands to benefit from their oil. Both scenarios are far better than the unhappy marriage that Nigeria is now. |
ChangeIsCostant:May not be. This is common in Ghana. People can chose from Mercedes, Rolls Royce cars, Helicopter, Aeroplane (very popular), ship, crocodile or any casket shaped according to choice. |
Topmaike007:Well, technically, a life imprisonment inmate might be pardoned and released one day. Or even discharged & acquitted assuming new facts about the crime comes to light. Like another person confessing to the crime. A matter of luck. Although commuting death sentences to life is just a mere formality now since execution is rarely carried out since 1999. I think Oshiomhole was one of the few governors to have actually signed any death warrant in the past few years. |
Elysianheritage:Did you contact this guy & get any useful info? Thanks. |
muhamm3d:My brother, instead of going on a tangent, tell us more about it. Anybody can say coconut or agbalumo tree fruiting at 6 months are available. Pics say more than a thousand words. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. With pics, trained eyes can see if the fruits are of the established breeds: Criollo, Forastero or a hybrid of both called Trinitario. Or a completely different cultivar that we do not know yet. Age may not be written but a lot of information can be gleaned from it. I have posted here on NL agric section about oil palm supergene breed available in Indonesia. If it is now available in 9ja but no reply. The supergene was a result of 27 years massive research and it fruits in just 2 and a half years. So shed more light: name of breed, description, where discovered, where found in 9ja, etc. |
choix007:Ol' boy you too talk sha. Na you go come tell us say Obama na president of USA. ![]() |
choix007:Very long time. I wish the next game was earlier. Like a week from now so that we can carry on this momentum. |
OBAGADAFFI:I wonder. That cannot be beans tied so lightly like that considering the weight. |
achyc2002:You may be right. But having seen thousands of acres of cocoa in the past, I have never seen any properly fruiting under 4 years. What cocoa breed is that? A hybrid? Enlighten people here. With pictures please. Even the trinitario breed does not fruit in 18 months. After all, we're here to learn. For free. |
Exponental:I tire o. But in 9ja people will say "will autopsy bring him back?" It has to be paid for too. Maybe his siblings could not afford it. |
okangisaiah:Nothing new my dear. Almost as old as mankind. |
But we knew despite denial. |
We dey Siddon look. ![]() |
