A former General & C-in-C of a country, former governor of old Borno State, who should know the region in and out. He had 2 months to prepare for this. Instead of having both short-term, medium term and long term plan to defeat and wipe out, he opted for a cumbersome relocation of command to Borno. A man who should hit the ground running considering how much he & APC lambasted GEJ's every move and strategy over the years.

In the meantime, Boko people are using this window of confusion about strategy and uncertainty about the fate of service chiefs, to hit innocent citizens.

I think during this tenure, Propaganda will become a degree course at university.

As in not being able to present a ministerial list good 2 months after winning election? Please just listen to yourself.

You don't have to have the new parliament sitting before list is published. All the countries that we copy like US, ministers and their portfolio are published before parliament/Congress scrutinise them.
In as much as we don't have enough creativity to device our own political system, we should adhere to the procedures of those we copy.

People should spare me all that yarn of "Nigerian peculiarities."

As a relatively new state with lots of things to improve, can't religious issues come under cultural affairs ministry?

Do they need more bureaucracy & recurrent expenditure?

The boy should enter politics when he grows up. He's getting a good practice.
