My dear we all believed what you wrote above and tolerated impunity from officers of state for so long. They became a law unto themselves. They will kill an innocent young man and sexually molest his mother on top. They will kill a group of young people because one of them refused to allow a policeman date his girlfriend (Apo 6 and many others), kill a bus driver over 50 Naira. In fact they kill and maim at will boasting that nothing will happen.

We allowed fear to cower us for too long. Not anymore. No sacrifice, no progress. If we need to disintegrate and build smaller nations (Sharia North, Biafra, Oduduwa, Niger Delta, Middle Belt/Benjos, etc), so be it. Manageable & more homogeneous entities. Currently we are not seeing eye to eye on any matter. A 60 years experiment of cowardice & walking in the dark has failed. Let's try something else.

A country struggling to pay workers 30,000 Naira monthly cannot honestly pay politicians more than 10 times (300k) including allowances. It doesn't happen anywhere else. A president earning over 600k or a governor on over 500k has no conscience. Join private sector if money is your motivation.

Check all civilised countries today: Germany, Japan, USA, UK, France, China and many. All went through serious upheaval to get sense. Nigeria could not defy the rule even though we hoped too.

France & UK even cut off their king's head.

France stormed Bastille prison like Benin Prison was stormed. That Benin prison has been a prison yard since about 1255 AD. Modern Benin prison was rebuilt on site of ancient Ewedo Prison. Very symbolic. Bastille Day is a national holiday celebration in France till today.

If you know history, you can better understand modern human struggle for freedom, justice and equity.
