southniyikaye: ![]() Na Sambisa go quick pass But things are expensive in Switzerland o. Very expensive. But if you live near German border, you can be shopping from Germany weekly. Or even France if near France border. |
Osagyefo98:Igbo matter is civil war syndrome. 50 years after end of war, 9ja looks bleak. More and more Igbo youth are playing spoiler with anything Nigeria. Some like you now constitute a nuisance like a noisy neighbour. Causing disaffection among others won't help Igbo unity. Igbo must unite among themselves to be taken seriously. Not every autonomous community rushing to Aso Rock or any political office holder to claim to represent all Igbo. Eze Ndigbo in every street in every town in 9ja is also not unity. I guess you are shocked (like Buhari ) by how robustly Edo people rubbish those who use population numbers to try to twist history since 1914. |
Na wa o. Recklessness. |
olaboy33:Those that control the media and eyeing 2023 presidency are in the party of FG. They foisted Buhari on us & must not annoy Northern masters. So no protest. Good thing is na all of us dey inside. |
Fleshly:Like he said nobody has achieved as much as he has in govt. True, his record of lost jobs is unrivaled. |
Nice. |
illiad:Ha! Urhobo people have a very long history o. Their movements over the past 700 years is pretty well known. Most know their origin points in Edo State. And other minority groups from elsewhere that now make up modern Urhobo nation. History of all the Urhobo kingdoms are well documented now. There is nobody that has no history o. If you look carefully everybody is a mixture one way or another. Someone like me is lucky to know my mixture from centuries ago. My brother and others on this thread, more unite us than separate us. No need for vitriol biko. Regarding poverty, 70% of Nigerians can be regarded as poor. On the average Urhobo probably has less than 60% poverty rate. They are many in professions like law, medicine and accounting and academia. |
BLUELemon:Hypocrites and brainwashed people gleefully and zealously do so. After dem go Cast Boko. Boko are only just doing what they were brainwashed to do. Heinous as it is. |
Some people are just evil, hard hearted and have no business in any caring profession. Many do or for job security. |
falcon01:That may depend on discipline. You cannot tell me that a 1st class graduate of Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Law, Chemical engineering, Archaeology, Vet Med, and such cannot analyse. In fact analysis is a key part of the training. Although I cannot say about 9ja. But in climes I know about, your assertion is wrong. |
backbone503:Aha! The most likely unpalatable outcome that will not benefit the few currently creaming off Nigeria is what they are scared of. Unless the suffering say enough is enough and dictate what they want, nothing will happen. The Nigerian masses should choose the way forward. They are smart enough. |
NeoWanZaeed:Wrong notion in 21st century.. What if she earns much more? |
backbone503:Which dear country? Has the country even been really peaceful? When army were not overthrowing themselves, politicians were looting and oppressing. It's people who show a modicum of decency and loyalty to 9ja like Zulum they want to get rid of. They should better carve out a country for Boko. After all Dan Fodio came 200 years ago with violence to overthrow Hausa kingdoms for not being good enough Muslims. We are shying away from the reality on ground. Doing same thing and failing since 1960 is not loyalty or bravery. But insanity. The elite long missed the chance to stabilize and develop the country. The masses will just suffer as we sleepwalk to implosion. Yes. it's unpalatable but we cannot pretend anymore. Sticky plaster won't work. Not only in Nigeria. See Ambazonia in Cameroon, Western Togoland in Ghana and others. |
ednut1:Sensicillin tablets are proving to be a BIG failure in human trial. It was successful in animal trial including goat/ewure. A resounding success in tortoises, monkeys and chimps. Since human foolishness na deliberate one, we may have to discontinue human trial. ![]() |
Very fit and tough guy in defence. He, Yekini, Amunike, Amokachi, Finidi, Eguavoen, Iroha, Okafor & indeed the whole team deserved to play in 1994 WC Final. They were that good. |
Funny thread.. Generalisation. |
Nice. |
Kudejo:Force will ultimately fail. Do we have more military might than USSR had? Humans value identity and freedom. Empires never last forever. So many countries will still split. Even some developed countries like UK and Canada, maybe Belgium too over time. |
Chiedu4Trump:Even the bare minimum of regionalism they are not allowing it. You can see why. |
Upton:Denial Na human expertise. Especially Dudu. We say it's only white people who have many illnesses. Whereas studies show otherwise. In naija many deny having common asthma until they have problems breathing years later. Before taking treatment. Damage already done. Diabetes, high BP Na same. Or pasture says they have been healed miraculously. |
Lagos needs thousands of public toilets. If cheap, it could generate lots of money for local councils. Including card payment/loaded swipe card. |
If you let a married couple live their life on their own, most times they'll do just fine. It's inlaws, friends and others that wreck marriages. Let them catch themselves if they are cheating on each other. Unless it's in a reckless manner. Flirting on phone can hardly be evidence. |
Rip. Nothing to say really. His offence was being born Nigerian. |
ThatFairGuy1:Abacha mode activated. |
richie240:Simple. Everybody admires the fact that religion seems to play little role in how people relate in SW. It was so in many other areas of the South and Middle Belt before. Agreed, shared language and culture in SW has helped to let it remain largely so thus far. But across the world indigenous culture is weakening. Faster in some areas than others. But it is. At the same time more people in two popular middle Eastern religions are veering towards the ideologically very conservative wings. See the frequent spats between MURIC and CAN. We once thought Nigerians of all creeds like enjoyment too much to die for religious stuff. Then came Boko. Yep, we should not be complacent. |
So why hide your spouse for decades? Omowumi was concealed father of her kids years back too. Celeb or no celeb. |
richie240:Well, we once waited impatiently to eat our Muslim neighbours' Sallah/Ileya rice and meat, We shared Xmas & Easter rice & meat with them too. But 9ja continued to worsen and now there's suspicion everywhere. MURIC has a firebrand Yoruba man as leader now. SW should not take the traditional religious tolerance for granted. We once did throughout the South & Middle Belt. |
Goke7:Charisma? Tunubu is charismatic? Bubu is not contesting again, he doesn't care. But the North want the party to scatter sef. A foolish Northern politician is like the brightest Southern politician. Fulani have been playing domination politics since Uthman Dan Fodio. Directly or indirectly they checkmated Awo at every turn despite his brilliance. Through SLA against Awo, Omoboriowo against Ajasin, coming between Zik & Awo at independence, etc. The North have weighed all the scenarios. They won't allow a strong-willed and over-ambitious Southerner like OBJ near FG power again. They will rather do a coup. . You see how Osinbajo is doing boy-boy following them. That's normally the right strategy. A pastor and law professor who says nothing when his tribesmen are or fellow Christians are being butchered. If only Tinubu was NOT his godfather. They know that Osinbajo is playing along and they have analysed it all. SW should better queue behind any SW politician the North wants to annoint. Be it Fayemi, Fashola, Amosun or even Aregbe. I know they will. They rejected OBJ in his first term. I guess that was because SW had another horse in the race. |
Na wa. |
jamace:You sabi at bolded. But after SW teamed up with same Fulani to grab power from GEJ, SS/SE won't help SW get power from Fulani. ![]() If people really care about equity let them help SE in 2023. 6 months OF Igbo/Ironsi rule since 1960 is a joke. By the way I am not Igbo. I just like fairness. |
majamajic:Fayemi said so early this year already. That only Buhari in govt is holding APC together. Nothing else after May 2023. Fayemi has the ears of Northern power juggernauts, He's the most favoured SW politician for 2023. With El-Rufai as VP. |
