SegFault:If this is stupidity, what do you call the corruption, impunity, looting. Extra judicial killing and failure of the elite to listen to the masses since 1960? If history is anything to go by, it always ends brutality. Often eliminating much Of the old elite. |
Samsimple:Well, I hope you have been crying for 9ja for decades like us. If not cry now Na crocodile tears. |
ursullalinda:Sadly when water pass garri, there is no innocent again. Look at Yemen, it is the poor that are starving to death. By being too docile towards wicked rulers for too long, we all collectively lost innocence. Guilt can be through omission, commission or Just silence in the face of blatant evil. |
ItsReal:Well, the elite had 50 years to prevent the above scenario after the bitter Biafra War but they didn't. They have also had the chance since to peacefully divide the country but they didn't. It's always gonna end in tears. Just when and how is not clear. |
When you vote someone that showed utmost disdain to Nigerians by overthrowing Shagari, Nigerians, what did you expect? ![]() He never had respect for the masses. Did you expect changing khakhi for agbada will change him? Where is Falana who demonised Jonathan? Come and use your over sophistication to defend your Buhari o. |
inoki247: ![]() Honesty is a good thing. |
OK. The over privileged enemies of Nigeria are coming forward as their privileges are threatened. People like this Garba. Let them come and identify themselves. So that the youth can know who to teach lessons when revolution expands. |
globalresource:Oga that is an insult to animal zoo. If animals in the zoo had only 25% of human intelligence, they won't run own affairs 25% as BAD as Nigeria is governed. |
okpalaAnambra:And you think APC will give SE the presidency? SE needs to be more strategic than threatening. APC will probably not even zone VP to SE. PDP zoned VP to SE last time. The best bet is Igbo entering Aso Rock by chance. Like GEJ got in by chance. Though not necessarily same way. Igbo need to first seat down to work out why they have so little presidency support outside SE and SS. If you threaten when you are not yet in Aso Rock, what will happen when you are already there? Remember the North still fear Biafra secession. So Igbo have to be strategic. SW and North controlled party won't give Igbo presidency anytime soon. I for one believe that if Igbo still cannot be president 50 years after the civil war, then at least set them free. But my opinion does not matter in the scheme of things. |
JimmyDarmody:Hehe. |
Freestainworld:Their own time is coming. Nigerian youth will soon face them. They will be forced not to earn more than a school principal. Not that their work in NASS merits a principal's pay anyway. It just shows how these politicians take the masses for granted. |
gregyboy: ![]() Baffling that so called over educated people cannot see that this is a rare opportunity to leverage on and push for wholesale reforms. |
OK |
DontBullshitMe:The millions of jobless in Nigeria, have you given them jobs yet? Take away the about £25 billion diaspora Nigerians remit to Nigeria yearly and see how many cannot afford school fees, medical care, housing, three square meal, etc. Bad belle. Compare that sum to the budget of FG. Budget that FG has to borrow money to fund. Yet cannot even implement 80% of it most years. |
tobechi74:It turns out those Christians Na mumu. Miyelti Allah are rubbing the mumuism in their face now. Because anyone with one working brain cell knows that the North want to Islamise Nigeria. But some Southerners were forming sophistication attacking GEJ. See their life now. The North they call fool have a strategy and agenda for dominance. They are giving Tinubu upper cut and slide tackle to rubbish him in the North ahead of 2023. Of course they know Tinubu is not sponsoring no Endsars. ![]() But the strategy shows how politically savvy they are. ![]() It seems cow urine gives more political intelligence than the champagne Southern elites drink. ![]() |

maasoap:FG can bring their offer to the public to assess if good enough or not. Not some secret talk for some people to line their pockets collecting bribe from FG. |
BruncleZuma:He means it's time to cash in. He fancies himself as one of the negotiators supposedly representing the masses. FG will dangle prime parcel of land in Abuja and money. Followed by promise of political appointment. That is how they settle newspaper editors and top journalists. |
OVB123:Warri, Sapele and Port-Harcourt should follow suite. These are the cities with people who get liver. Those "suffersticated ones" that talk from both sides of the mouth will soon be going to connive with their Northern masters hoping to enter Aso Rock in 2023. |
Nigsrdumb:The place was already burning. Is it Sambisa that is not burning or Middle Belt? Ask victims of Boko & killer herdsmen if their lives is in AC mode or hellish fire. Peace is not just the absence of war. Better to seriously burn and re-build from the ashes. |
TOPCRUISE:So you guys think this is still just about Endsars? It's now about all the brutality, injustices, corruption and lopsided polity of Nigeria. As far as many are concerned it's revolution now. While some of you guys might still be comfortable with Nigeria as it is, For many Nigeria has no meaning anymore, it's a dead entity kept alive on oil money ventilator. Benin has always been at the forefront of resistance. Whether against British, Action Group, military, Ali Must Go or other forms of impunity. Precisely UNIBEN is always there in recent decades alongside Unilag in the fiercest protests against bad governance, |
CHANNELStv2020:Nna ehn... Awo died 33 years ago. Kalu Said he was born in 1960. So at age of 27 he was flexing with Awo. Yet they won't let the youth get any power or influence. A man of 60, Kalu's age, will still be doing youth wing leader of political parties. ![]() |
Notatribalist:Tinubu juju too strong. Na Cameroon and Indian marabouts work for am I guess. Or if Na local marabout maybe he kpai the marabout after the job. ![]() The marabout turn his people to omodo for him. |
Sad. RIP. |
OK. Like I said earlier today, people may start following Rotimi Amaechi's advice to beat up politicians and reset their corrupt brain. ![]() |
They believe Toyota engines can take much abuse and can be handled by any Kazeem and still dey Kampe. Out of fear or caution, a Honda driver may look for a better Kazem or generally treat the car better |
tillaman:True. Sadly many die in similar situations. She was "lucky" to be alive. Why we tolerative such animal and jungle behaviour for so long is beyond me. |
lomprico:Abi o From the look of things no part of body e nor dey pinch people at one location or the other in Nigeria. Our docility for too long made the looting elites too reckless and comfortable. If care is not taking the public stoning Rotimi Amaeche once said we are not doing to politicians go start. |
BeLookingIDIOT:Yet you are first to support Oshiomole and lambast Obaseki. Abi Obaseki na Lagos November now? |
Anybody can claim to be whatever. I have nothing against that. But the guy is an idiot to say Benin are Oduduwa descendants. Epic lie. So much is at least clear: the first Olu was son of Oba Olua of Benin. The senior chiefs of Warri followed Prince Ginuwa from Benin to Ode Itsekhiri in 1480. Just like about 75 years later, Obanikoro, Eletu Odibo ancestors and other high ranking nobles followed Prince Ado to Lagos to take possession of it. So between 1170 and 1480 (around 310 years) Itsekhiri were waiting for a phantom prince to come and rule them? Because Oduduwa asked them to wait? ![]() Everyone knows that Itsekhiri are a melange of different people. Probably Yoruba origin in majority with Edo people largely making up the monarchy and aristocratic upper class. Urhobo and and others are considerable too. The cleric does not even know Itsekhiri history. ![]() People should be man enough to admit if they do not know something. Nobody knows everything. |
These people are all mad. They think this is still just SARS matter. SARS is just a metaphor for all the failure, brutality and impunity of the corrupt and heartless elites. For the untold misery and suffering they have long inflicted on the masses. If they have even a single working brain cell left, they should realise that wholesale reform and restructuring of the country is the minimum they must ensure right now. Otherwise balkanisation with various warlords, religious fanatics controlling huge swathes and govt controlling the cities. |
