Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Wrong For Christians To End A Marriage Due To Impotency Of A Partner by AreaFada2: 9:45am On Oct 05, 2014
majorgr:
As a Christian, u are not under the world's counsel and government system but under the Kingdom of God governmental system. You see, in our kingdom, there is what is called health care scheme, which is better than any health scheme the world can provide. It is called HEALING! If there is a case of impotency, God will heal it and rectify the faults you just hav to bring ur husband to the point where his faith can allow access to the Healing powers of God. I just witness such a starling situation, after many years, a lady who culdnt conceive is now pregnant bucuz of her confession of faith!
.

Even without faith it can still happen. It's mostly biology. I have seen it in people of no faith! I'm in a position to know.

Give Caesars's thing to Caesar: good Christians are counselled to find ways to obey human laws without compromising religious law.

I know a man in 9ja (the type that spends lots of days away in these Pentecostal church camps and can't be reached on phone). He waited for over 10 years for his wife to conceive, no way. He later tried IVF and got a set of twins.

Some people use IVF but won't tell the truth but testify in church as a miracle.

Having said that, faith is good for biology/body by helping to ameliorate hopelessness and stress, which promotes good health.

Good health gives the body the best chance to function properly.

See Post UMTE question.

As long as the said meat/ram was created by Baba@dTop, I go chop clean mouth.

Na we humans dey invent all these taboo things. God nor send.

Matth 15:11. It is not what enters the mouth that defiles a man but that which comes out of the mouth.
Celebrities › Re: MTV Africa Releases List Of 20 Greatest Nigerian Songs Of All Time by AreaFada2: 5:57am On Oct 04, 2014
OrlandoOwoh: It's high time we started floating musical companies that promote highlife, juju, were, apala, etc songs. MTV is for children. People like Victor Olaiya, Ikenja Superstar, Morocco Mmaduka, Mike Ejeagha, Orlando Julius, Victor Uwaifo, etc that are still alive should ensure this. Recently I downloaded some songs of Cardinal Rex Jim Lawson from www.mp3olimp.net/rex-lawson. You will be amazed at his talent.
.

My brother, it's long overdue.

If you are leading the way, I'm buying a stake immediately in this Juju-Records Ltd or Ju-Life Records Ltd. grin

I enjoy old school music almost everyday, thanks to youtube.

I blast Rex Lawson's Sewale, Yellow Sisi, So Ala Temen & others regularly. I don't even understand Kalabari.

Classic. He died over 40 years ago. Let's wait for 40 years before we rank these young upstarts.

SexyFox: Ok, I have seen all your answer.
1. Am not in a rush to find a husband.
2. Am a career oriented person.
3. I have never been attracted to a person before.
4. I am not a old person.
5. I'm not interested in having a boy friend at the moment because they are distraction.
6. I am not a teenager.
7. I am not a gold digger.
These are answers to some of the replies.
I have never felt that reaction over someone before.
.

Pants on fire!

Mbok, tell me you'd not date a handsome 27 years old Mr. Dangote or Mr Okoya or Mr OteDOLLAR or Mr Alakija, heir to any of the well-known biz empires.

Abeg spare us all those "money is not everything" bobos.

Baba@dTop bless you as you honestly reply.

We now live in a global village that's why recent songs travel quicker to distant corners of the globe, like via youtube.

Not because they have anything on great 9ja songs of Yore.

smart12345678: Bleep it, imma sociologist, a graduate for that matter. I had no idea of the course until I was given. Along the line I got used to it. Pple misconcieved sociology cos the ave no idea of wats all about. I'm happy to be a sociologist......

However, if yu tink yu ave contrary opinion bou wat iv said, try me and let get it started.
.

You're right my guy.

I'm not a sociologist but I had loads of sociology teaching at uni. To understand disease, crime, debt, abuse and many more sociology plays a big role.

To plan effectively for healthcare, justice system, housing, education etc, govt & private sector must first consider sociological factors.

Very important here in Europe.
Education › Re: Most Underrated Courses In Nigerian Universities by AreaFada2:
adextetoo: Starting with most AGRICULTURAL RELATED courses imagine some one spending 5yrs in my uni (FUTA) to study:
Building Technology (modern bricklayers)
Agric Economics and Extension (what da Bleep does dat mean?)
Agric Extension and Communication (are you trying to understand the official language of animals and plants?, cut me some slack.
Transport Management (what is d job of dos nurtw thug bosses?)
And above all PHILOSOPHY even a 5yr old kid will do dat
Library Management (arrangining of books which you will never read) omo course plenty oooo
.

This really funny because Agriculture is one of the most promising sectors that can grow exponentially. Skilled workforce is key.

If we can improve agriculture & significantly reduce cost of production, 9ja can supply cheap food to parts of Africa where hunger is still a problem. Make a tidy profit & employ around 4-5 million people.

Considering that also that we still have along way to go in terms of effective transport system.

All the science we know today began as philosophy: Physical philosophy, Mathematical philosophy etc. Most early scientists were philosophers.

Descartes & Newton come to mind.

Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Ask Out Their Friend's Girlfriend. by AreaFada2: 3:47am On Sep 29, 2014
countsparrow: Why y'all blaming d guyhuh 90 times out of 100 d fault comes from ur BF... U know yhuh Ur BF goes out, tells d friend, omo dat gal sabi fvck die, she do like dis, do like dat, I lift her legs give am from behind and all sorts... Having said all dis to his friend, the friend sees d GF in a different light, they see u as a game. any Guy dat tells his friends all dat stuff doesn't value his GF therefore making her toastable to friends... Girls if your Bae's friend ask you out
, reconsider ur relationship, most time, d guy doesn't value you and must have said nasty things about you to his friends

NB: this is a true life example

Guys will never say the truth but deep down u know u have said some nasty shit about ur gal... When a guy values his woman, hardly will u see a friend asking her out, go ask... So gals think when such happens..
.

This is true sometimes but not always. Sometimes the BF makes it appear that he's not really in love with the girl & his pal might be genuiely in luv with babe and feel that he deserves the girl more.

But some people are naturally greedy and covet what belongs to others. It is not among the 10 commandments for nothing.

While we're at it, you might as well ask why robbers waylay people on the road n carjack, why some women snatch their bestie's husband etc.

A good friend's babe tried to seduce me when my pal was living in another country. I resisted but I couldn't tell my friend. The babe could have turned round (with crocodile tears) and say she turned me down hence the revenge. In such circumstances, guys prefer their babe's version of the story.

Come o, this your pastor introduction get as e be.

FYI, with the "mass embrace" of Christianity, most are not trustworthy. It's just a social thing these days to most.

Decades back when preaching on the streets we used to meet honest juju worshippers who would tell you they are happy with juju worship, believe in Supreme God but in the way Christians believe.

Today even devil go dey form holy holy Christian.

Don't tell me you haven't alerted the said pastor yet.

I'm a Christian by the way.
