RIP dude. |
xynerise: What did NTA say?. No cause for alarm. |
omar22: Yaya Toure has won more trophies than Mikel...FACT. Can you please list them head to head in order of importance like Champions league, AFCON, Europa cup etc? |
Roon9: Your comment is smeared with so much hate and its glaring that you know nothing in football. Mikel obi might not be so much of an outstanding player but he his very good playing his role in chelsea and nigeria especially. U know nothing about what a defensive midfielder does n you obviously didn't watch chelseas games last season. Surely he won't get d crown but he deservingly made the list. Stop blabbering bros! Cheers. @OP, when it comes to such an award influence, consistency and individual performance in the national team, clubside and behaviour on and off the pitch should be considered. Mikel has consistently and quietly done a brilliant job over many years at Chelsea. His performance against Messi/Barca in 2012 Champions league semi was the best DM performance I have seen since the early 1990s AC Milan side. Yes it's outside the period under review but should count for something. Then also the Europa Cup. It takes a great player and much discipline to go against his explosive instinct as a midfielder and instead do all the thankless and dirty DM job. His leadership and consistency on the pitch during AFCON was exceptional. Especially holding on to a narrow advantage against BF in the final. If Italy hadn't won 2006 World cup, Cannavaro would never have won FIFA World player of the year. Yahaya would deserve the award in a non-AFCON year, but not this time. Verdict: Mikel gets the nod. |
Obiagu1: Withdrawal method works just fine for a first round of sex.. Peeing may reduce the risk but it doesn't eliminate it. Even pre-cum in the first sex round can contain revving sperm cells. So no natural method is really very safe, aside from abstinence of course. Correctly use your raincoat if possible in stead of au naturel. |
hmmm |
Boland: U too can be a landlord, its step by step. HoneyComb Garden is the latest Estate in Ibadan. Still available.. Is this the same 300k land you referred to in the original post? Because Honeycomb garden is not mentioned there. |
ejikesbm: How many rooms/parlour in these in duplexes? Please give dimensions and full cost of building up to roofing excluding cementing/screeding or finishing work. |
spyder880: Happy new year to all my friends here, may this new year 2014 bring to your lives; Thanks Spyder, Happy new year too. |
There will be no blood shed! You human demons will be disappointed when a peace change of government will happen at the centre and you will begin to enjoy the true democratic dividends some states are beginning to enjoy now . Go and tell your Asari to prepare His mat, for His is going back to jail soonest! You keep screaming war, it is obvious you are a kid that knows next to nothing of what war is like. Maybe you need to visit former Yugoslavia or current Kosovo and your small brain will adjust very quickly. All that is required in Nigeria now is competent leadership that can use Her enormous wealth to develop the country. Not the glutton of a Lame duck President that is stealing left, right and centre.
. You keep saying kid, are you over 55? If not you're saying rubbish. So your Boko Haram friends are not demons? Those looters like IBB, OBJ, Tinubu, Etteh, Bank-Ole, Bode George, Alams etc who looted our common wealth and let people die on the poor roads nationwide, letting kids die in hospitals without medicine, they are saints and angels? Get this into your head: Awolowo already said Nigeria is a mere geographical expression. In other words it is not a country and will never be. We already lost 2 million in the last civil war so what's the difference. What has improved since the war? Are we not already at war? Go and tell the loved ones of those murdered by Boko yesterday that we're not at war and that there's blood shed. In case you didn't get that memo there is already North-orchestrated boko bloodshed. Just because you benefit from the current jungle doesn't mean you should forget all the boko victims and millions suffering badly. In the 50 years before GEJ what did all your "non-lame duck presidents" achieve? Stop infecting people with cowardice. FYI: I have travelled extensively in Europe including most of Eastern Europe. NOTE: I'm not from SE. |
Snoggy: What kinda guy will scratch his manhood in front of a lady?. Maybe she works in STD clinic. ![]() |
Just like I said earlier. Afonjarisation galore. SW I hail o. |
War Horse: Those that ask for a break-up of Nigeria should please keep an eye on South Sudan. It would be a situation where the hunted catches the hunter. Well, without bloodshed Nigeria will go no where. We have already wasted 53 years. Let there be war and lose 25 years, then at least the remnant can go separate ways, there will be less tribalism even if some of the resulting smaller states will have problems in first ten years. Enough of this cowardice that feeds the status quo. |
In a certain part of Nigeria being very loud and boastful is regarded as smartness. After decades of military brutality, being gentle is seen as being clueless. That's why they regard a brute like OBJ as a good leader and GEJ that obeys court judgements as clueless. We have a long way to go. If we're not ready for democratic evolution, let's just admit and let semi-literate military brutes take turns to rule. |
maasoap: When Yoruba gave their support to Jonathan in 2011, what did they gain in return? What are you even saying? PDP as party flourish in South South, South East and North just like APC in the South West and North. Are Northerners not your partners?. Partners in Boko or born-to-rule? Don't be deceived, Northerners are strictly following Ahmadu Bello philosophy of "Nigeria as a conquered territory and inheritance of our Great Grandfather Uthman Dan Fodio". Read up on it if you don't know. The North are achieving their goal. Set Boko lose on the country so he will be busy fighting that and later blame him for achieving nothing. Keep the propaganda machine dominated by SW revving and many like you will believe it. |
I would love to see a Fashola as a president of Nigeria someday, I am not against a diatribe yoruba man ruling Nigeria. I just hate the self righteous hypocrisy that comes out of yoruba e-warrior's mouth on NL. They tend to act as if Nigeria became corrupt as soon as GEJ became the president but will shield Tinubu when noble men like Gani calls him out for the fraud he is. SW stop supporting Buhari out of low self esteem, promote a viable candidate that shares a progressive dream like Fashola, and I will paint my face green and white.
. Of course in a country of selfless leaders most people would happily vote for BRF. But the North have a way of using SWners to achieve Northern agenda whether it's Akintola and Abiola to weaken Owolowo, OBJ/Abiola to remove electoral college act to deny Awo presidency, OBJ to rubbish Abiola's clear June 12 victory, etc. Now they want to use ACN to ride to power. In fact Northerners always look for South Westerners to "Afonjarise". Meanwhile the South Westerners always still surprisingly believe they can outwit the politically savvy Northerners. Anybody but BRJ for ACN presidency in 2015 will finally reveal ACN as Association of Propaganda Clowns. And a house of political prostitutes not in anyway better than the den of killers that is PDP. |
Ogbeni Lawal: This reeks of cowardice.. You took the word right out of my mouth. |
Kairoseki77: You must be very young.. Young enough to have witnessed Murtala Mohammed regime. And young enough to have sat yards away from Gen. Buhari as HOS making a speech in a university campus. And young enough to have seen the fraud that IBB was during his regime that I decided to travel abroad and study. Young enough to have met a Naija-born US soldier serving in Europe who was later deployed to Yugoslavia and died there. |
I beg to disagree with you on this one. So long as Nigerians are hungry, coup will always succeed in Nigeria. Though I for one do not subscribe to it, however, the manner in which the current president has handled the affairs of the nation has no doubt sent the right signals to the exotic coup plotters to start thinking what next! Nigerians love life too much so any bullet, followed by Ghana must go will silent their mouth forever .I have said it here repeatedly, if GEJ continues with His die hard posture come Q1 2014, by Q2 2014, GEJ will be history as far as Aso rock is concerned and average Nigerians will not pity Him. His greatest undoing was to polarize Nigeria along ethnic and religious line. Never has Nigeria been this polarized and I pray never again will it be.
While born-to-rule people are in power, they have no regard for others hence they see no polarisation in their self-obsession. When a minority person is in power they cause crisis via boko haram and propaganda to cause polarisation. Why can't these people just go their separate ways? We have no country, just a collection of tribes exploited by a few selfish politicians. Any action, be it a coup or whatever that will cause a quick breakup is welcome. After the initial bloodshed, at least our grandkids will have countries that truly belong to them. Croatia was at war 20 years ago during Balkan war, it's now part of EU. Since born-to-rule people are against peaceful negotiation by Nigerians in a conference, it seems only the violent/bloody option will suffice. |
saintneo: No matter the precautions taken, these evil Bokoharamites will attack innocent people. Can't people get married again and be happy for once. Should Borno people hide because this idiots refuse to accept that the has evolved? Niger, Cameron, Chad & Nigeria should form a joint border security force to cripple these barbaric animals.. Don't mind him. Every remote village can form civilian JTF? What nonsense. Boko is the only one at fault and blood on their head. |
Good thread How much roughly will the foundation to DPC cost in Ogun State: 2 x bedrooms 1x Parlour 1 x kitchen 1 x bath with toilet (not en-suite). 1x toilet Being the ground floor of a one storey BQ (another similar floor upstairs). Set back on one of two adjoining 120 x 60 plots. Dry flat land. Room sizes/dimensions should be average. Note: Iron rods in the corners of building will be needed for structural integrity. |
yup |
In Naija we need to start crawling before trying to walk. Since we're on our own (OOO) as tribalism/sectarianism has stopped us from rising up to fight our oppressors, we need to encourage anyone ready to make life more bearable via affordable houses, cars, etc. Being cynical and always going for flashy things that make countries producing them richer, is no way forward for us. In my opinion prices should start around $3,000 or around 800k and I have said so for long. And it should be a family sedan car. 75% of Naija population cannot afford a car over 1m. Those of us on NL, who are largely in the group that can afford it by God's grace, should remember that. |
Picture or it didn't happen. |
funshybam: GO & DIE. Is that the new APC (Automated Propaganda Caucus) slogan? ![]() |
Age shouldn't matter BUT it does in the African setting. Where else do you call someone bwoda, sista, antie, uncle because they're a year or so older than you? I have dated babes a couple of years older than me in the West and it was no biggie. @OP, You're already worried that she might not quite send your heart racing after dropping a few kids. So I doubt if you are "for better for worse" kinda person. Maybe not yet. A woman 10 years younger can suffer a disabling accident 3 years into the marriage (God forbid). What would you do in that case? |
Nightshift: The reason for the titles could be for making their little town proud. Personally, i wouldn't have known they are from Amoli.. Lol, I think people like Susu (Mama G), Mr Ibu and co actually do deserve such a chieftaincy title. People need to work for a long time with dedication and integrity before these titles are given. |
She actually does look like a lady in that dress. If only she would wear it more often. |
eghosa johnny: Please if you still need any assistance just let me know I'm giving you directly my contact please invite or call me. Thanks dude. |
Northern people are very savvy. Having used boko to destabilise Naija to spite GEJ, they are now building schools abroad to accommodate their students from 2015 when born-to-rule mentality will balkanise Nigeria. They have always felt closer to Islamic countries anywhere in the world than Southern Nigeria except a few SW Afonjas. You wonder why they have not merged with Niger, Chad or any of those terrorist-breeding God-forsaken dustlands. Oh they have no oil and gas! |
Except the money is not coming from abroad, if it is WU has an abysmal exchange rate. E.g. WU 251 naira plus to a Pound sterling against 272 to 274 Naira with other MT services. Use other MT if possible especially now that WU doesn't enable you get hard currency paid out. |
