Yinky95: I doubt it. Reasons?
Most of them can't afford it.
Which song he won sing, Terry G?
You go fear in voice.
He go disturb mama n papa wey won try sleep
The other day a guy tried it he got a sweet response from boko-haram. Lol. E no fit work for 9ja. The best is to serenade MONEY ego a.k.a CAaSH
.

God so kind, you're a woman saying this.

It's like buying flawa for Naija omoge, na there she go ask you if she be goat or sheep ni.

Naija wey people dey use SUV dey propose now.

After reading some comments here I can really see that for good God fearing men out there, getting a good, God fearing woman now is really not easy.

One cannot anymore ascribe high moral standards to very many women. Love of money has corrupted too many men and women.

Too many people are now ready to do just about anything for money.

God help us.
Differentiate between what she did and 419. What she did is actually 419 madam.
.

What she did is 419 and worse. Faked kidnap, deception, extortion, waste of police time and resources, causing fear and distress to family, friends and community, etc.

Just like Babyosis calls it a "mere hide and seek", some Naija guys committed what they thought was a "mere" thing here in Europe only to be slammed with a 6-count charge.

Before the law, you will be amazed how a crime can attract many counts.

Layolaw: 200,000 pere, the husband must have been maltreating her
.

I live in Europe but I know that there are people who are very poor in Nigeria and for them even 50k is a lot of money. Suppose the man earns minimum wage of N18,000 and tries to manage that money, does that amount to maltreating his wife?

People still die in Nigerian hospitals because they cannot afford N10,000 fee. We need to be more realistic and see what's happening around us.

babyosisi: Why are they arresting her when it is her Stoopid husband that should be arrested
If he provided for the household, will she be orchestrating her own kidnap to feed the family
They should let her go jor
Rubbish
.
if it was her husband that was arrested for a criminal act, would you say it was his greedy and over-demanding wife who pushed him into crime?
Are they your neighbours for you to know he's stingy? Here you're trying to paint this woman as a saint or are you capable of doing such?

Such double standard from some of you women is very sad. There are vile people, men and women.

If the man is stingy let her divorce him and look for a generous man instead. Resorting to such a vile act is not right.

Travel › Re: Confused!.do I Stay In Nigeria Or Travel To Europe by AreaFada2: 2:51am On Oct 13, 2013
If you're ready to be a prostitute then go ahead.

Has he been sending only or mostly girls to Europe for two years now? If so he's most likely selling the girls to "madams" abroad.

He will sell you for say 20,000 Euros and you will to use your va*gina to work 50,000 Euros or more to pay your madam.

Well that could mean sleeping with up to 15 men a day and standing by the roadside wearing barely more than a bikini and a jacket in freezing cold.

Well I want to be as graphic as possible so that you have no doubts what awaits you abroad.

The first Nigerian private university was established a barely literate person, Chief Igbinedion. Maybe they don't know.

emmysenior: Technically, that place is somewhat far from saboteurs due to the type of person he is.

If I'm not wrong, the said university is privately owned and I see no reason why industrial actions by the government owned institutions can affect his.
All his excuses of not giving back to Nigeria where he got his money from are trivial, baseless, weightless, frivolous and fictitious.

As it stands, it seems one has to kill as many as possible or become warlord/terrorist to be able to suck some huge money from the Nigerian govt. Haba!
Maybe he doesn't believe in Nigeria as it is and he would not be alone in that.
Whatever you say about him, he seems to be putting his money where his mouth is.

Maybe Nigerians should start establishing hospitals and casket business in London & India to treat our big men who fly there for treatment and to return their corpses.

nagoma: Buhari is a responsible Nationalist. A man of high moral standing and impeccable record of honesty. he is a man who walks his talk. personal wealth has never been his ambition and will never be. he is the Mandela of Nigeria and PDP is the Africaan government.
of course as an "Area fada" i don't expect you to like such a man.
.

If you think he has such high moral standing, go and read about the luggage scandal involving his ADC and an emir.

What was a man with high moral standing doing serving under an animal like Sanni Abacha?

berem: I love the amiable General Muhammadu Buhari. Our Nigeria's next President.

cool cool
My lady, how old were you when he was military head of State?

I saw him live give a speech at a university when he was hos then. He said all the right things but went ahead to close several Radio Nigeria branches, cancelled Lagos metro plan and generally went ahead closing and cancelling things without any decent or progressive ideas of his own.
Or threat and soaking baboon and monkey in blood is the great idea to take us forward?

The little legacy credited to him were even Idiagbon's ideas (WAI, environmental etc).

May be those too young in his regime can be fooled.

His wealth of experience will enable him play an advisory role to the younger politicans.

J4J, Igwe and all my good people I have a couple of questions:

(1) how affordable is medical treatment in Dubai or anywhere in UAE generally? Sure it would depend on type of treatment. A relative in Naija has a long term condition and has been sent from pillar to post without proper diagnosis never mind proper treatment. Diagnosis would like involve CT scan or MRI.

(2) A relative just about finishing NYSC, what's the prospect of getting a job in UAE without much work experience at all? Industrial Maths degree and some IT training. Following this thread, he would need minimum $2,000 on arrival. Is brown envelop things up to AED2,500 or can be much more than that?

Thanks guys.

@Finecheeck: keep trying, you are closer to getting a job now than when you arrived. You never know when your efforts would be rewarded.

justi4jesu: You are welcome, yes lingerie is really cheap here especially if you leave dubai and travel down into Ajman because that's where most of them buy them from then bring them to dubai for sale in wholesale and in cartons.
.

Thanks my sister.

Is Ajman far from Dubai, how do you travel there and there any particular shops to go to?

Are shoes etc also cheaper in Ajman?
Travel › Re: QATAR And UAE General Visa Enquiries by AreaFada2: 4:22pm On Oct 08, 2013
justi4jesu: There are cheap stuffs around deira where they sell in wholesale and they are very cheap if you buy them and want to re-sell. Like bags, shoes, baby shoes, baby clothings, men's shoes and ladies, if you have someone that can take you round the market then that will be fine or you have someone here that can buy the goods for you and send them to you in nigeria, that will be more economical. Business here is good.
.

My dear I don't have anybody there o. Lol.

Anyway with people like you, Oga@thetopkpatakpata and others, I cannot say I don't have anyone there sha.

Thanks a lot for the info.

@J4J, a relative wants cheap lingerie to sell back in naija, is it really cheap there?
Travel › Re: QATAR And UAE General Visa Enquiries by AreaFada2: 4:14pm On Oct 08, 2013
ogakpatakpata: You can buy in deira and deira city center; l wont advise you go to the malls because things are very expensive in the malls, although, we have several malls you can explore like Dubai malls, malls of the emirates, if you want to buy things to sell in Nigeria, your best bet will be Deira/Deira city centre. There are several cargo companies you can use from Deira that will assist you to cargo your items to anywhere in Nigeria,in fact, they will pay all the charges both UAE and Nigeria(CUSTOMS) you only walk to their office in lagos to pick your items after payment. Anybody can collect your goods on your behalf as long as you indicate it on your slip.
Thanks so much for this information.

And regarding accommodation, where would you recommend an hotel bearing relative safety and comfort in mind at a decent cost?

Family › Re: Marriage Things: I Am So Confused, Please Advice by AreaFada2: 1:18pm On Oct 08, 2013
nickxtra: Infact, I am so confused as to the issue of marriage - confused about who to get married to; when to get married; and how to go about getting married.

Right now, I am in my early 30s, a 300 level part time student in a University and doing a menial job. But for four JAMB's hurdles since I finished my school cert, I would have for long become a graduate and maybe doing a good job, which would be enough to give me the courage into marriage. But because of my inability to gain admission into a higher institution on time, I lost confidence in going marital affair, even though I had the previlege of going into serious relationship that many had expected or envisaged to climaxed into marriage. Almost all the girls I have been in relationship are now happily married and proud mothers.

Also, most of my friends and contemproaries have left me behind as far as marriage is concerned. I am deeply concerned, not because I don't want to get married, but, I AM AFRAID, firstly on how to take care of my wife when I am still schooling, even though am engaged with menial job and doing other hustling now. Secondly, where will I get the money to fund the wedding since what receive from my job and other hustling hardly meet my rent and other needs? Will things not be compounded when we are two?

Thirdly, it seems the time I used to love is gone - i.e, I don't easily love(love in the real sense of the word). Right now, I have girl, whom am trying to develop a strong love for, because believe that, love is the only basis for a successful marriage. Now, may I crave your advice, suggestions and scolding(where applicable) in the following puzzles: one, how do I develop a strong love for a woman I think I should marry? Two, will you not consider it better for me to finish my school and get a better job before marrying?

Fourthly, do I really need an elaborate wedding, like some of my friends did? At 31(though physically bigger than my age), don't you think am supposed to be married now like my friends, some of whom are my juniors and others, seniors? Is it possible not to have a strong love a girl now, but later develop it for her? What do I do now in this circumstance? Please, advise me.
My brother take heart.

Stop comparing yourself to others. All fingers are not equal. You have good prospects if you keep giving your best honestly and diligently. And believe in God. Marriage is not by accident. When the right babe comes along you will know.

Some of us marry late but is not better to marry for the right reasons to the right person than to do so because others are doing it?

Keep being positive. The good thing is that you know that running a family is a major responsibility. That makes me to believe you have been sewing your coat according to your cloth.

You might even meet a girl who has a job or handwork who can contribute to family upkeep. Don't believe that caveman idea that only a man should fund the family, this is 21st century.

Good luck.
