Can I get for both types please? Thanks |
Fhemmmy:Thanks for the prompt reply. Let's make it 2007-2009. |
Hey my man. Can I get quotes for your Lexus brands and how much to get it into nigeria? I live in the US but eventual car destination is nigeria. |
Anyway I can help you guys solve the mystery? Its unbelievable she dropped off the face of the earth just like that. I seem to remember in her "Mama" video she featured an older woman who looked very much like her. |
stories like this gladden my heart. To see a young Nigerian recognizing this resilient ability innate in us to fight and to apply yourself as you have done tells me all hope is not lost. It reminds me of my beginnings and continuing efforts to survive the Big 4's challenges , especially in a place as cutthroat as NYC. Keep pushing bro. I have a law background like you from Nigeria. That is why I am all the more impressed. God be with you |
I am in the process of setting up a company to import medical equipment - ranging from disposables like syringes to heavy duty equipment like X Ray machines into Nigeria. I would just like to know what the market is like , the challenges and other factors that I need to consider before going ahead. Thanks |
989900:brother na God go bless you. Sincerely when I hear the way some so called educated youths talk ,I now know why companies complain about the lack of employable workers. They can't read and think and yet these are the leaders of tomorrow Nigeria relies on. Sad!. For a country who loses a significant amount of its output to theft, a situation which endangers the revenue base of the entire nation and affect government expenditure, should we continue to allow crude to be stolen? One entity says they are not comfortable with it and now has Nigerian crude stopped selling ? Has the global market stopped seeing Nigerian crude? You don't even need to be a sophisticated researcher to not sound stupid. Just use google. Should we deprive ourselves of revenue because a buyer decides not to abide by terms ?should we jeopardize our own interests and pander to those who are probable crude stealers? And I am reading some dolts talk about outdated economic policy. If economic policy came to bite them they won't event recognize it. What better economic policy is better than blocking revenue leaks? Its a disgrace to see those who only talk after reading headlines only and with no follow up thinking converse. Disgusting ! |
Firefire:You must have missed the memo where the PDP was roundly rejected. We run a Presidential System. Trying to achieve what could not be achieved at the ballot box is what the PDP is trying to do. Not going to work if the APC get Saraki out . after all its their mandate and he ran as APC. You can show me where the PDP was so magnanimous during their 16 years of waste. |
OrlandoOwoh:who knows really. I learned they became citizens in the late 70s. They could be dead also. its a long time |
Learned they both emigrated to the UK where they became citizens |
Bollinger:not true. You don't have to be a citizen or green card holder to have a property in the US. The current owners of the Waldorf Astoria, arguably the most prestigious hotel in the US are Chinese |
A very apt response to those who merely cherry pick what suits them without actually putting thinking into it. More grease to your intellectual prowess |
SenseiX:you really can't read can you? Did you read the part that said the process started in January or you were rushing to post without thinking? This information is basically beyond your league I'd say. Why not let those who know and can discuss these implications without sounding like ignoramuses talk and you can learn? |
Tranquill:Now I wont get smart with you since you may actually not own a company or know how it works. Now hear this- the company stopped operating in Nigeria in 2008. this means their parent company which probably owned most of their shares divested from its Nigerian subsidiary which made the company stop work. they would however run in other areas as it is an international company. Now these foreign companies have these things they call annual reports which show you their leadership, board, operations. google can come to your aid then if you use it instead of relying of information from half literate bloggers. do yourself a favor and seek information before declaring about what you don't know and showing your lack of knowledge here |
Tranquill:they left in.2008.I won't get smart with you since you may not know how company registration works if you don't have one. Now hear this: this company left 2008. Which means the company does not exist anymore in Nigeria and you do not own shares.in a company that has ceased to exist as far back.as.2008. Now for their international.shareholding , these companies abroad have this thing called annual.from.which you can glean information about their directors and operations . Please don't expose.your lack of knowledge further and do yourself some favor by using google |
http://www.panalpina.com/www/global/en/home/news_media/news_archive_folder/news_2008/08_10_10.html Tanoids , Jonathanians or whatever these distractions are called these days. please learn to read. a quick research on, wait for it, GOOGLE could have stopped this trash from going on FP |
The company is no more in Nigeria! They left Nigeria after operational infractions in Nigeria that made Nigeria government revoke its license! Stop this Lilliputian lies! How do you declare a share by same company that is not situated in the country! The company was never listed in NSE! Bu why is it so easy publish foolishness and have foolish people believe? how hard is it to cross check facts before rushing to post or publish same? why cant people who claim to be educated walk up to CAC and ask for these facts instead of printing libelous crap? the irony of it is you get exposed for not thinking properly . no wonder the failure rate for university entrance examinations are high... to research is so new to some people. they wait for a deluded person to post gibberish and then start commenting on what they absolutely have no clue about . education is indeed in a sorry state in Nigeria. ok shares discoverers , go to court please. Jeez! |
saw them all. |
dam007:I am glad I encouraged you |
queenfav:if practice is what you want to do, stick to it. the limitations of our legal training blinds we lawyers to see the opportunities that are revolving around law. a few folks here have talked about being an in-house counsel or legal officer. you can look for that. also , learn and learn. I know it is hard because bills have to be paid and backgrounds are different but take the little and work as hard as possible to learn. that knowledge would speak for you when the opportunities come your way. if you are able, look at niche areas you can identify after getting grounded. law is a jealous profession. you have to covet and serve it with all your being before it begins to serve you |
queenfav:the way new wigs are treated is something I would hope the NBA would address. lip service has been paid to it for far too long. new wigs should be mentored properly to keep the ones with the most potential in the profession. However , it is clear that the law profession is very different in practice now from what was obtainable in the past. please read my recommendations and work as hard as possible. go for what is at hand and start from there. |
lastpage:No I am not from a royal family. I just happen to be the son of the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, a sitting principal member of the Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers. your ignorant self has never attended one of these things. I have so till you tell me you have partaken of these rites listen to those who know . I repeat again and I am sure your ignorance has been further exposed by the high chiefs who have already said what is obvious. NO ABOBAKU CURRENTLY EXISTS. get that straight! |
Hey there, I totally understand the way you feel right now. Its the same way I felt about 9 years back after youth service. my first salary was 5, 000 in Ibadan and I remembered thinking to myself "what have I gotten myself into?". now know this- the law profession is a great profession but it is a profession for hardworking people. the fact is the Nigerian economy is taking its own toll on the practice abilities of colleagues like yourself to sustain themselves. The seniors in the profession do not help the matter too. this is where you have to be creative and daring. for instance in my case I went to become a state counsel and later travelled out for my masters in the US. today I am an international tax counsel with knowledge in economics and finance. be creative ma'am. take whatever comes your way for now and get into the system. from there, drop the lawyer stiffness and talk to people and increase your social contacts . the connections will come like a trickle but nurture them till they become a flood. do what comes to you diligently and learn as much as you can. you have a unique knowledge not many people have . use it . I remember while I was a lawyer working for Oyo State, I volunteered for the difficult land cases. this made me know lots of people then in Ibadan. I went on radio to talk about new areas such as Alternative Dispute Resolution. the law certificate is just a mere ticket to the party. what you make of it is entirely up to you. I managed properties, sold land, marketed same , drafted agreements, sold diesel, formed companies for people, did divorces, evicted nonpaying tenants and so many more things I could not count. All legal and honorable. Get going and roll up your sleeves ma'am. I wish you all the best. Let me know how you are doing . |
icecool982:Did you provide the human sacrifice? |
Shymm3x:I am sure they said what they said to dispel the erroneous information being peddled around by those who have no idea what they are doing or saying. you want them to be accused of performing human sacrifice in this internet age? the implications of that to them and their family members would be enormous socially. blame those with cheap internet access who chose to spread stupid untrue news and those who were gullible enough to believe such idiocy with no research. No one dies and the fact that they keep their rites secret means they don't need the speculation or people poking their noses into what is not their business |
Sweetlemon:Have you attended a coronation before? I have and no one dies in the process. do you know the number of people that would have been reported missing if it were fact that humans were used as sacrifice? It amuses me how the ignorant are the ones whose fingers type the fastest when speaking about things they are totally clueless about. take your time and ask questions then you can speak with authority not base your comments on foolish people who just type rubbish on the internet and pass it along for you guys. there is no tradition to abolish because it has not happened in many many years. hopefully you have been better educated now |
favourelisha:You think believing a tweet from a random individual out to have fun and speculate without you fact checking does not make you more useless? |
oreos:I would like you to tell me with facts where in Yorubaland this exists now |
There is no Abobaku title in Ife and there has never been such requirements. In the old days of the Oyo Empire, the Aremo (Crown Prince) was required to die with his father when the latter joins his ancestors. There were also other individuals required to die with him to serve him in the afterlife as it was believed then. Among those were the Abobaku. This changed with the decline and breakup of that Empire. Do not fall victim of unresearched articles proliferating because of cheap internet access |
TheOnlyWiseMan:Do you know how to read? |
BrownCookie:totally impressed!how many years at the bar miss? |
Topman0001:Exactly I would expect them to be bothered about how to make sure the economy the workers spend their wages in becomes improved and that can be done by pressurizing the government to continue to improve economic conditions . solving the unemployment issue would be a direct consequence of an improved economy . then wages would matter. |
has got us here.
