It seem some of us here are sad and bitter that naira is appreciating... I know you are hoping for the worst for naira

I can understand understand your pain coz I bought high too.. Infact I bought at 1450 today only to go and see 1350 now....

Naira will appreciate, it will not get worse because of your greedy gain...

We are both in this but we hope naira appreciate and sellers reduce the price of their goods

Mixed feelings
I want it below 1k.

And I bought 1.6 and 1.7. I don't care.

I want it below 1k. My naira will have more value. I'm not looking short term.

"The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it".....

Fantasy books are one of the hardest to write. Authors of these seemingly, have to create new worlds, places, continents, languages, food, religions, species, often from scratch and spin them into large volumes of books, so props to J.R.R. Tolkien for writing this, but do you know what i think is even harder than this? turning all these into a visual spectacle that is etched in one's memory for a lifetime.

Peter Jackson's LOTR series did exactly this!, A beautiful adaptation of a great book. Everything was pretty good, Good cast, good use of VFX, incredible cinematography, in fact the complete package. I copped the extended version, and you need to clock in around 12 hours and 6 minutes! straight to see all 3 in one stretch but it doesn't even feel like a chore because of how good they are. I'm due a yearly re-run soonest.

The LOTR is such an aesthetically, culturally and historically important lore, that, me thinks, if we somehow make contact with aliens in the future and we are trying to show them our very best flicks from earth, a box set of these would totally be first in line 😉.

A rare 10/10 👍🏾.

Kobojunkie:
Actually, your forefathers did exactly that. They related the two. They created the customary laws that exist today. The same laws which allow polygamy for the men equally provide for the women to roam free. grin

Under Customary Law in Nigeria, every child born during a marriage is presumed to belong to the man. So, as long as that marriage is in continuance, every child born belongs to the man. Now, if the man does not wish to father a bastard and all that, then he should altogether avoid customary Law unions. Otherwise, he is not a victim but one who accepted a marriage agreement that allows him polygamy while at the same time allowing the woman to bring into the marriage even children fathered by other men. grin
Under any law it is presumed a married couple have a child together. Customary Law doesn't support paternity fraud.

The fraud is too much from both genders. Don't blame ladies alone, men cheats too. It's vice versa
I don't support cheating but you can not relate both issues at all. There's no comparison.

I actually convinced myself that i wasn't gonna be arsed about this anymore no thanks to the unnecessary stop gap they had, but man the last 2 episodes have been so fire 🔥😩. It turns out, it is a pretty well done show, and frankly speaking, there isn't much of those flying about these days, so their shenanigans and gimmicks might be a small price to pay for peak 😔
I had already abandoned this. Seems I was hasty.

I still haven't gotten S3 of this, not necessarily because it's a bad show, but their M.O. became too monotonous to me. Did it get significantly better after S3? Was there enough twists and turn to keep things "fresh"?
One crazy dude showed up later. It was tight.

Same feeling aot fave me.

I was in SS3 in 1991. I had a junior in Js3 who used to drive a Peugeot 504 to school. That was a cool ride at that time. It was his dad's car. His old boy was loaded.
It didn't distract us one bit.
Quite true. Then we weren't bothered about who had a car or not. We had more important things to worry about like a Walkman or cable TV at home. Lol.

Get rich or die trying hadn't been released then. Kids of these days are just something else.
