joke aside, i agree talking to the hubby is important. hubby and wifey should be one and be in unison when there is problem.
no matter what, hubby should have listened to his wife, call brother aside and ask him to give her respect because it is her home not his.
then let brother know he won't tolerate bad behavior and must help in the house with certain work such as cleaning up after himself. it is simple way to deal with something but i guess
hubby has something else in mind.

Talk to ur hubby
Family › Re: thank you by armyofone(m): 8:53pm On Feb 28, 2012
you should have set rules one week after welcoming. give it to hubby to read, add and remove something (must explain why removing that to me), give him to sign it and life goes on. shebi na student? simple. must follow rules!!

that rules should include his duties in the house, to do and what not to do.

kai, devil fire satan and adam pickin the day he will give me same response he gave you.

Such a sad story Dayokanu.
i wouldn't care abt someone's money. if i'm leaving you, i will take my kids with me and good raddiance.
if you are stinking rich like the man in the OP intro, then i prefer we settle amicable. Foreign court are mostly on a woman's side. Nigerian men should
play safe all the time and settle with their women. gra gra no dey for oyinbo court, it goes by the law book.

I dont know o.

One time I was moving into an apartment and she came. I made a mistake to offer to drive her there.

She went to IKEA and spent good 4-5 hours there!!!!.  shocked

You know those Ikea where they already set up the rooms living room, bedroom  etc She was going through everyone. After 4hrs we almost got into a fight when the sales girl told us that maybe we should check another setup and I yelled NO. She was like isnt she doing it for me, Isnt it my aparment bla bla, I was like If its left to me I would buy one 3seater sofa on craiglist, one TV stand and shikena.

After IKEA she now said Home depot or Walmart I just told her to let me go home and she can take the car keys and do the rest

Family › Re: My Husband Does Not Want Me To Work by armyofone(m): 7:01pm On Feb 24, 2012
are you done with having babies? I think you might want to think about that.
if no more kids, then take the job.
if you both plan to have more, then this is a good time to have your kids. by the time the last one is over 1, then put in job.
save as much as you can for raining days with the lots you guys have now.

this is just an idea for my own utopia world.

Family › Re: How Do Career Women Cope With Domestic Chores? - Help! by armyofone(m): 6:45pm On Feb 24, 2012
how many times do you want to be told to stop using that word, ''especially women" tongue
tell me you don't want to go shop then we can as well call pizza hut

dayokanu:
Some people love it, especially women, Some even says it has a therapeutic effect

Its called "retail therapy" in some circle.

Some ladies would even ask you if you want to buy anything so they can go and shop on your behalf
i like the part for shopping for beautifying stuff like clothes etc. but when it comes to shopping for food, i pity those who go shop alone.
I must shop with my guy you like it or not. nothing thera kini carrying heavy shopping bag.
i hate those go green bags by the way  grin too heavy to put things.
