Family › Re: The Story Of The Little Girl That Was Killed By Her Careless School Bus Driver . by armyofone(m): 7:39pm On Feb 23, 2012
what a very bad driver!! when kids are getting off, drivers should make sure kids are gone before driving off.

where I live, the school bus has RED signal and all cars coming or going from both side of the road stop when the school bus stops with RED sign out.

such a young baby killed for nothing. why should such a little baby be getting off the bus unaided? nothing wrong if the help carried the little one.

RIP lil' one.

in a perfect world, guy would take style find out what his gal likes. take style shop around and see where her eyes are and get that for her.
if you can't afford it, communicatn should solve the problem.

and how can you tell what the future holds? a woman can decide to focus on ''family'' and not stress up only to meet the glass ceiling.

if your woman decide today to stop working and focus on the homefront/kids what are you going to do?

davidylan:
No. However selecting a man on the basis of his ability to provide you with gucci bags alone is Unclad greed. If a woman doesnt want to wake up in the morning to drink garri what prevents her from aspiring to climb the career ladder on her own? I for one am sick to death of women crying about "equality" on one side then categorizing men purely on the size of their wallets.

Like a friend said, choose a woman based on her ability to COMPLEMENT you not on the basis of you being her sole source of financial support. I for one cannot imagine marrying a woman who does not have her own career but whose only means of climbing the social ladder is merely by virtue of being a wife.
how you dey? nwamama?
Family › Re: Should A Wife Join Cash And Effort To Build House/business With Her Husband. by armyofone(m): 5:42pm On Feb 22, 2012
Ujujoan, Very True!!
I'm with you on that.
that's exactly what I will do too, give our kids good education.
Before you think of building a house somewhere, be sure the children are in a good school, and you are saving for their college. My children first before some house ''other'' people will fight over and enjoy after you are dead.

Ujujoan:
I've not decided on this issue yet. My husband and I haven't quite gotten to the stage of joint investment (aside from a joint account), but I really dont think I want to invest with him. Not because I dont trust him or anything, but I like doing my own things and I beleive I'll be better off!  undecided

As for my children, the best leagacy I will give them is good education and sound training. They can make their own money themselves!   cool  cool

Na pot of soup you go dey chop for those few days? and how abt the remaining days? eh dayokanu tongue

you know what, you guys just drag on this whole case but really can't win.

men should help women with cooking and house chore just as women are helping with making money.
there is nothing like 'women chore or men chore'. help each other in the house, kitchen etc.

get take out, eat out, pizza etc food you or wifey did not cook atimes.
get pizza hut, domino, papa johns, kfc, popeyes, burger king etc they do have healthy choices on their menu.
get TGIF, italian, jamaica, indian, mexican, steak house, country food eatery order card handy.

life is good grin grin
