You need not wait unnecessarily nor any official document to secure your F-1 appointment at the US embassy. Go to UBA and purchase your 5800Naira receipt that enables you to schedule appointment at the VFS website. When reserving it, you will be asked for your sevis number. Put any 10digits there, your appointment will be confirmed. Later, when you receive your i20, you can always modify your details with the correct information. VFS sends your details to the embassy two business days before your interview. Goodluck.
