PoliticsRe: Rivers Group Scolds Amaechi Over His Comment That Gej Only Developed Biafrans by asha80(m): 7:57am On Jan 03, 2014
dustydee: Clearly compression is an issue for some people. Amaechi did not say Jonathan is developing Biafra but rather treating Rives state as if it is not part of Nigeria (Biafra).
comprehension is a problem with a lot of nigerians.....though i still do not understand what development gej is givig imo and abia that is not giving to rivers.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Has No Known Development Or Government Process. Verdict From A Visitor by asha80(m): 10:08pm On Jan 02, 2014
re@lchange:
no, he said that most of the roads he referred to were designed and built under el rufai
you remember when el rufai was demolishing buildings
he said he was restoring abuja masterplan
turned out he actually did nothing
well bala mohammed is said not to have maintained el rufai standards..however truth is there is not set standard of patteren for road development in nigeria like developed countries....urban planning is big issue here as even in places that have masterplans, those plans are almost never adhered to....things are done here according to the whims and caprices of the person in charge at that moment.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Has No Known Development Or Government Process. Verdict From A Visitor by asha80(m): 9:53pm On Jan 02, 2014
lol...tell your friend na naija be this...either he keys in or keys out.....on a more serious note i do not think el rufai has to blamed on what abuja is now rather it is bala mohammed who is the present fct minister.

Orikinla what drove your father to leave umuahia to settle in lagos at the time he did?
PoliticsRe: Osun Govt. Acquires N51million Land To Build Church by asha80(m): 8:17pm On Jan 02, 2014
@bishop juice money giving to those churches in anambra is anambra state money and not peter obi's personal money.
PoliticsRe: Osun Govt. Acquires N51million Land To Build Church by asha80(m): 8:13pm On Jan 02, 2014
Pukkah: The action of Aregbesola has been fairly criticized whereas some people have glossed over and even defended Peter Obi's and Akapbio's millions of naira donations to churches.

It is very clear who the shameless hypocrites are!

They were quiet when Akpabio funded a carol of 9,999 choir members!

Peter Obi donated N220m to churches!

Akpabio donated N230m to the Otuoke church on behalf of PDP Governors' forum!

Imoke donated N100m to the Otuoke church on behalf of SS governors!

But they have suddenly found their voice when it comes to Aregbesola's N51m!

Bloody Hypocrites!
peter obi's case is different....those monies he gave to the church are for schools and hospitals that government siezed from the churches in the early 70s all in the name of make education available to poor people...of course as with most things with govt nigeria they ran those institutions down..obi simply handed back those schools and hospitals back to their original owners(the churches)...it is just common sense that government to should assist the churches to rebuild those institutions back to their previous or appreciable level since govt ran it down in the first instance.......the people in the east that did or are doing what aregbesola is doing is rochas that is building an ecumenical centre in owerri and orji uzor kalu that built a mosque for muslims in umuahia.
PoliticsRe: Governor Amaechi Live on kakaki, A.I.T by asha80(m): 8:41am On Jan 02, 2014
luvinhubby: Mr. Amaechi, Peter Obi`s children are schooling in Anambra state public schools........in which of your schools in Rivers state are your children schooling?
which schools are obi's children schooling in anambra?stop lying.
Car TalkRe: Innoson Motors: Most Innovative Entrepreneur 2013 by asha80(m): 9:25am On Jan 01, 2014
ROSSIKE: I bet it was the federal govt that insisted Nissan works with INNOSON, if they wish to set up a plant in Nigeria.
can the fg do that?i thought that this sort of partnership is strictly btw parties involved(nissan and innoson in question here)?
Car TalkRe: Innoson Motors: Most Innovative Entrepreneur 2013 by asha80(m): 9:14am On Jan 01, 2014
hmmmm...so nissan wants to partner innoson....i wonder in what capacity.

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 2:36pm On Dec 31, 2013
Abagworo: How can you believe the FG and NDDC? They proclaimed that in order to prevent Rochas from embarking on the projects and earn the honor. If Rochas was the one, it would have been started instantly and might have reached 50% completion. They will come out with pictures and claim it has been abandoned just like the ones that are now completed which they claimed were abandoned as at June.
ok...just that ihedoiha claimed that to have attracted the mbaise ring road and chris anyanwu the mbaise ngwa road.....there are some things you do not play politics with.
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 2:18pm On Dec 31, 2013
Abagworo: I've not visited Mbaise but I've visited Amaraku, Atta and Obowo. Obowo has at least 5 rural roads constructed and a large modern market. Amaraku is under construction. I think its even being upgraded to a mini-city kind of settlement.

You can read this.

http://crimefacts.org/drama-as-resettled-traders-boo-theodore-orji-at-imo-industrial-market/

Mbaise people seem to be fighting Rochas and may refuse to post pictures but I'm quite sure that a lot must have been done in that axis and beyond.
from my hometown you can get to that market in obowo....i wonder what goes on in t a orji's mind....mbaise is the next frontier in imo and i hope they play the right politics...sometimes it is not good at times to be open on whom you oppose...to get to obowo from from owerri you have to pass mbaise so any acrimony obowo will be affected.nddc is handling the mbaise ring road and mbaise ngwa road...not sure of the work on those roads.

IGBO-SON:
^^^Don't mind him! He always makes this silly accusation when it comes to Imo or Enugu, but ask him to show you 'rural' developments of his own governor now and there'll be silence!

Could someone tell the governor to tell the contractor that built those roads to go back and finish the job! There are no road markings, and they appear to be fast fading in areas where they bothered to paint them!
enyi keep quiet...i am from imo and abagworo knows.
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 1:56pm On Dec 31, 2013
phantom: yet people will come here and say the south east is the least developed meanwhile every nook and cranny is seeing some level of development.i wish the state govt can site something important in the mbaise area.that lga is too damn big.should be a state on its own.
taa gbafuo lol....what abour ohaji egbema that is almost two times that of mbaise?
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 1:50pm On Dec 31, 2013
Abagworo: Aren't Orlu and Nekede rural areas?
mbaise, obowo, mbano and okigwe axis, oguta are also rural areas....like as i have always maitained developement is supposed to be widespread and not concetrated in one or two axis or areas(not expecting completed projects though)
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 1:40pm On Dec 31, 2013
Abagworo: More pics coming. A lot of people are in Imo seeing things for themselves. There's hold up everywhere including rural areas.
awaiting pics from rural pics which is where i am more interested in.

on a serious not i doubt if it has anything to do with elightenment...it is just the way they are..i have met with quite some enlightened ones.
PoliticsRe: Is Ebonyi No Longer Part Of Nigeria? by asha80(m): 9:53pm On Dec 30, 2013
Afam4eva: I'm aware of this and i also notice it in their approach to life generally. They don't seem to be interested in amassing wealth like other Igbos. They seem comfortable in the level they are at. I think that has to change and it will change if more enlightenment is done.
everything that has an advantage has a disadvantage.

PoliticsRe: The Dangote Checkmate And How The 2015 Elections Will Play Out - Dele Momodu by asha80(m): 7:00pm On Dec 28, 2013
Keneking: So here is my shortlist in no particular order for APC: Fashola, Tambuwal, Marwa, Amaechi, Buhari, Kwankwaso, Rochas, Aliyu (in case he becomes a permanent member), Atiku

Versus

PDP: Jonathan & Sambo

Likely hypothesis: Jonathan/ Sambo vs Fashola/ Tambuwal - excellent (a1)
Jonathan/ Sambo vs Amaechi/ Tambuwal - excellent ( b1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Buhari / Fashola - excellent ( c1)
Jonathan/ Sambo vs Aliyu / Fashola - excellent ( d1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Atiku / Fashola - excellent ( e1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Fashola / Rochas - v good ( f1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Marwa/ Fashola - v good (g1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Kwankwaso/ Amaechi - v good (h1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Buhari / Amaechi - v good ( i1)
Jonathan / Sambo vs Atiku / Amaechi - v good ( j1)

Here is my submission: Suppose, Fashola doesn't make the pairing for presidency, the Senate shall be reserved for him. In case, Tambuwal also does not make the nominations, the House of Reps shall be there for him. Overall, if both Fashola and Tambuwal head the leadership of both houses in 2015, even if Jonathan wins, chances are that his administration might not survive. All efforts shall be made for h1 to occur for APC to win.
aliyu that was shouting yesterday that primary school buildings in niger state are dilapidated despite being gov for six years?u got jokes man.

PoliticsRe: Update On Second Niger Bridge: FG Reviews Cost Of Project by asha80(m): 4:34pm On Dec 27, 2013
agbameta: This is another sad lesson for ibo people. You reap what you sow when you insult and abuse other people all the time. You are free to do all that nonsense inside your villages like you did in Anambra and other places, but you pay for it Nationally because you or GEJ doesn't control or direct National funds for projects and development, the people you insult and abuse controls the money, they decide what gets funded.

You just got the middle finger thrown in your face like build your own godamn bridge.

Change your mean spirited, hateful, bigoted and anti social ways for your own good...

biodunid: Abi you count Oworonshoki express all the way to Apapa and the other end to Ikoyi as part of TMB? Why o why do you guys sell yourselves so cheaply and laud very petty things inventing 'records' out of thing air? What is so difficult to understand about the following statement?

The construction giant mobilised equipment to the site in July for preliminary work pending the finalisation of the contract for the bridge and its approach road estimated at 12.4 kilometres, with the bridge alone having a length of 1.8 kilometres.
still no difference with what i wrote except that instead of writing 'whole stretch of bridge' i should have written the road component from asaba approaching and stretching to both enugu onitsha and owerri onitsha expressway.
