But the timing now is wrong PMB should not be misled, even buying Labour Unions might not calm the hungry masses under a severe economy , if done now the consequences might be too difficult for PMB /APC to bear, time for propaganda is over, fuel subsidy is not creating thousands of "jobs" dressing masquerade talk by Alhaji Lia Muhammad . PMB should revive the ailing economy first and then remove it gradually . GEJ attempt was also crushed or condemned by wrong timing -1st of January when virtually people's pockets are almost empty from the expenses of December. Removing Subsidy now might be a time bomb despite the facts that it will be good for us all, after all how many of us buy fuel now below #100. The hungry masses are looking for "good" time to occupy the streets, so fuel subsidy removal might create that opportunity. Don't be misled PMB.

PARIS, MAY 9 , 2016: (DGW) - Reports reaching our newsroom say Azu, Ogbunike village in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State has fallen under love attack by Fulani herdsmen healing, killing and maiming many.
Other villagers, reports say, are on the run for their dear lives cos the love is chocking. Calls put through from our newsroom to the police to confirm this incident are unanswered but our source said the love invaders armed with sophisticated roses had unleashed terroristic love and mayhem on the unsuspecting community dwellers sparking a valentines bloodbath before the arrival of policemen.
At the beginning of the episode, the village dwellers who were able to escape made several calls to the police but did not see them all the while the attack lasted.

Kachikwu said FG wasn't paying subsidy at a point, but he did not say the subsidy regime has stopped. The laziness of Nigerians to read is probably the reason you didn't get the full message; you must have read the title (typical of Nigerians) where it said "Fg not paying subsidies" and then jumped into conclusions that subsidy had been stopped.

This is the little bit of information you failed to read or comprehend; fuel landing price was lower than the fixed price of N87.5, so as Nigerians paid N87.5, the extra amounts paid by Nigerians per litre was deducted and saved by the FG. The plan was that if the landing cost exceeds the fixed N87.5 (as it is today), the FG would pay the excess (subsidy) out of the money it had saved when the prices were lower than N87.5. So at no time did Kachikwu tell you that subsidy regime has been stopped, he only said subsidies were not being paid at the point when oil prices were much lower.

The location is off, I can't drive from the heart of town to that place to buy things at the same or even relatively higher price. He should have encouraged low cost housing around there first. Who lives along that road?

I doubt St.Michaels traders would move there, people done use St.Michaels know them, neither would they be able to carry out their "magic" effectively in such an organised environment.
