Be more brutal to some of her groups to send a strong message. Nigeria is a failed contraption and should be disbanded. Turn the Niger Delta to the Nigerian Army grave yard. I expect youths from many states to join the NDA. Death to this Nigeria. the life of these militants negates you first sentence |

eddyroyal: Bro go to page 3 I answered your question there. I don't know how this one got here. capitalism, socialism and communism all have advantages and disadvantages..what you should be saying is the Nigerian govt should play its supervisory role well in capitalism after all there are strong countries in the world that practice it...heck the china people talk about is only communist in politics but largely capitalistic ( state sponsored though) in economy..Nigeria has tried in govt running businesses and failed woefully left, right and center. |

gfullmoon: Removing fuel subsidy will do this nation good. But the timing now is wrong PMB should not be misled, even buying Labour Unions might not calm the hungry masses under a severe economy , if done now the consequences might be too difficult for PMB /APC to bear, time for propaganda is over, fuel subsidy is not creating thousands of "jobs" dressing masquerade talk by Alhaji Lia Muhammad . PMB should revive the ailing economy first and then remove it gradually . GEJ attempt was also crushed or condemned by wrong timing -1st of January when virtually people's pockets are almost empty from the expenses of December. Removing Subsidy now might be a time bomb despite the facts that it will be good for us all, after all how many of us buy fuel now below #100. The hungry masses are looking for "good" time to occupy the streets, so fuel subsidy removal might create that opportunity. Don't be misled PMB. so she is the 'right' timing since it is now obvious this has to be done? |

biafransoul: Herdsmen attacked a community in Oyi local govt with love healing many people. More details shortly
PARIS, MAY 9 , 2016: (DGW) - Reports reaching our newsroom say Azu, Ogbunike village in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State has fallen under love attack by Fulani herdsmen healing, killing and maiming many. Other villagers, reports say, are on the run for their dear lives cos the love is chocking. Calls put through from our newsroom to the police to confirm this incident are unanswered but our source said the love invaders armed with sophisticated roses had unleashed terroristic love and mayhem on the unsuspecting community dwellers sparking a valentines bloodbath before the arrival of policemen. At the beginning of the episode, the village dwellers who were able to escape made several calls to the police but did not see them all the while the attack lasted. why did you remove the pic you earlier used that was certified to be false by another poster? |

eddyroyal: When someone talks about"the forces of demand and supply determining the prices of commodities"he/she is referring to one of the characteristics of Capitalism. Adam Smith who is the leading proponent to this economic system stressed that Government should concentrate on it primary role which is the maintenance of peace and order and, allow the forces of demand and supply ( is also known as 'the invincible hand') determine the prices of commodities. so what is wrong with capitalism as you seem to suggest in your post I quoted |

I advocate for a positive alliance for development and never alliance to bring war to our doorstep. I've sat down to study Nigeria and realised that the only way to succeed is for Nigeria to remain as one country.
The avengers are definitely not Niger Deltans but like every other criminal gangs in Nigeria will have full federal character representation. Anyone who doubts me will have a rethink in few weeks time. from my calculations niger delta avengers are simply tompolo + disgruntled politicians |

Now that fuel had gone where it should go let me see any idiot talking about supporting the Naira. Wasted years and trillions trying to control petrol you do not produce, causing people to buy petrol at exhorbitant prices thus pauperizing them just to prove a point then caving in when they are economically wasted. I tell you, we deserve the kind of government we get, stupid people. lol you don vex o |

obailala: Haha... someone suffering from a total lack of basic comprehension skills is here calling someone else foolish.
Kachikwu said FG wasn't paying subsidy at a point, but he did not say the subsidy regime has stopped. The laziness of Nigerians to read is probably the reason you didn't get the full message; you must have read the title (typical of Nigerians) where it said "Fg not paying subsidies" and then jumped into conclusions that subsidy had been stopped.
This is the little bit of information you failed to read or comprehend; fuel landing price was lower than the fixed price of N87.5, so as Nigerians paid N87.5, the extra amounts paid by Nigerians per litre was deducted and saved by the FG. The plan was that if the landing cost exceeds the fixed N87.5 (as it is today), the FG would pay the excess (subsidy) out of the money it had saved when the prices were lower than N87.5. So at no time did Kachikwu tell you that subsidy regime has been stopped, he only said subsidies were not being paid at the point when oil prices were much lower. kolaish: With this news going around, NIGERIANS SHOULD PREPARE FOR ANOTHER SIX MONTHS OF FUEL SCARCITY. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/203099-nigeria-set-fully-deregulate-downstream-petrol-sell-n100-litre.html |

EasternLion: Sorry, I mean if and when it gets completed, plans are on the way already, lots of wealthy men are already buying the shops in the mall and once full market session starts, when they are able to force Electronics dealers there, the Phase 2 will kick off.
I heard Greenfield the private company that owns that place wants to build something similar for food stuffs, along Aba-Ukwa Axis, like modern food stalls, like we see in developed climes. it is common business sense that it is only when this phase one is fully occupied that the second phase construction would start As for the building of a similar one for food stuffs better they start preparing the minds of those guys at abia ohuru( I am right abi) that deal on food stuffs |

betterABIAstate: Largest mall in Africa, its going be managed by a private co. So I doubt if this place will ever become a sham in the nearest future, that's why the rent is high. that it will be managed by private co is no guarantee that it will not have problems if business climate in aba does not grow to attract people who would be more than willing to part with their money to rent a place in the mall no matter the cost |

It will be hard for them to move oh. But on a funny note, the chaos in Aba is what makes it what it is. ikpeazu should develop thick skin and do what he has to do to sanitize aba simple..the chaos in aba is not really allowing aba to grow as it is supposed to..just because people get used to chaos does not mean that is how it is supposed to be..the attitude of those traders is why people look down on them despite the money they wield |

EasternLion: True, ST Michael's people has refused to relocate there. well abia govt would have to step up the demolitions of those illegal shops that it began last week to those traders realise he is not joking...we also have to keep in mind that these structures of the mall we are seeing is the just the first phase..i guess the private firm that built it needs customers and biz men to take over the outlets of these ones it has already built before they embark on second phase....this also means that abia state govt has to do everything possible to make sure business grows in aba and environs and not contract. |

once it kickstart, will feed nairaland with situation report. if I may ask how would amaechi have frustrated it if the committee members got approval from the same fg which later appointed him? |
