yaki84: was gej d govr of cross river state?
did d govr said federal govt will execute d job?
d super highway is it fed govt project? is it in buhari's padded budget?
seaport, power plants, mining license are all in federal govt exclusive list. u cant undergo any of these projects without federal govt being involve. am part of ibom deep seaport, at least am privy to some info concerning that project, once it comes onboard will be d first to break d news. dont wanna sharp mouth yet. I can categorically tell u singaporeans r the contractors, they promise to deliver the job in 12months time once they start. the problem is howfunding considering the paucity of funds in d state, another problem is the former consultant took the new govr to court that she still wants to continue with the job afer they paid her off.
buhari is not putting a dime in bakassi port, fact. they only job of fed govt is to approve. the super highway is strictly state govt project. So in essence the ibom port project is still on course? This present fg is not frustrating it? Funds in the issue? Where is calabar getting its fund then? I ask these questions so as to know whom to hold responsible in the future in case it no longer materializes. |

AkoEja: This country is so hard to rule, I really pity our leaders. There's so many moronic comments on this thread. How do you expect a government of just one year to fix all the problems of over 50 years? The people in this government seem to have good intentions, and they seem to be doing a few things right. They are still unsettled, as the country is facing an economic meltdown apart from so many security and political issues. This is going to take any government sometime to solve this.
There are so many unpatriotic Nigerians who only think about their own personal gains even if it destroys the country. People from the East are hellbent on destroying this government, irrespective of their best intentions. Boko Haram is another issue. Easterners(so called Biafrans) want to make sure that this government fails, mainly because the government is blocking the source of their stolen funds. Unfortunately Nigeria does not have enough infrastructure to deal with these rogues calling themselves militants. Irrespective of the degree of militancy, Biafra is no more and cannot be resuscitated, the rest of Nigeria will not allow it. The sooner people get this into their thick skulls, the better why are you confusing Biafra and militancy? |

Funny because on saharareporters twitter page last week they tweeted that fuel pump would rise to 140naira per liter in the next two weeks and I thought it was just a cruel joke worksmart: No provision for subsidy in the budget, therefore it is fair to assume that no subsidy exists. There is going to be need for fuel prices to fluctuate relative to international fluctuations in crude and fuel prices since we are still importing significant proportion of our fuel. That is why it is necessary to periodically adjust fuel prices, as the government may be about to do. |

Bayelsa and the pure Ijaw found only in Bayelsa and Delta States need a lot of reorientation to solve an endemic social crisis similar to Northern alimajiri. The Ijaw speaking Rivers like Kalabari are advanced and well positioned in the business world and academia. work ethic of the average bayelsan is to honest poor from my experiences |

When huge amount of money is transacted in a bank: excess of N1m for an individual, and N5m for a corporate body; the bank is supposed to report such to the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit. The bank probably didn't. Secondly, Diezani had no account with the bank but brought in $23m cash alongside funds from four oil companies for the MD to keep for further disbursements to INEC officials. Thirdly, the MD got his share of I think...N20m for a Job well done All these are brazen acts of corruption! I am not sure if you can categorically say diezani has no account with the bank though unless you have records of all the bank acc owners |

CyberWolf: That is what I have been saying, nobody is talking about this people's demand. Their demand is very easy and inline with what sane minds has been saying. Restructure this country to regionalism or true federalism where laziness and parasitism won't be tolerated rather we keep playing the ostrich and shying away from the main issue. Anything that will bring about restructuring of the country is welcomed by me. the problem with restructuring is that it has to go through the legislature ( your guess is as good as mine what will happen there)..i dont thing that conference dealt with it |

iflywithbuhari: www..ng/2016/05/03/nigerians-happy-hours-buharis-aide-senator-ita-enang/ These were the words of SSA to the President on NASS matters. Today the budget was signed, at 12:00pm, and although, skeptical I still held some small hope that immediately or in a few hours, a lot would change, which would brighten up my day and bring smiles to my face. But alas, it's now 9:37pm, and nothing new has happened. As I speak, I haven't seen my bulb flash, not to mention staying on for hours, the water pump outside my house is still not running. As I was driving back from work, I noticed that most of the fuel stations which were selling fuel yesterday, were all shutdown , and had no fuel. Earlier today, at 3:00pm, when I gave a lift to my Oga's kids, from their school, I asked them if they were given free meals today or provided Nasco biscuits, but they replied "FOR WHERE". So I would like to ask Senator Enang, when will I experience the happiness. Before I forget, it has started raining, well atleast that is comforting. you are plain stupid ...eod |

Meanwhile who can tell me this location? Millionaireman come and shame yourself.
