And these men (Wole & Oguntade) are big wigs in the legal circuit & BOB (Body of Benchers).
Having breached such a rule, Akpata (as NBA president) is of the view that the men be excluded from top ranking legal committees they participate in.

But the men (highly connected)are pushing back.
They've since denounced Oguntade's daughter as a rogue staff(or so she confessed).
We'll see how this goes.

Secondly Fashola like other Governors could succeed in Lagos due to the masterplan of the state created by Tinubu all he had to do is execute the plans ,any other party that doesn't work with the blueprints will be a failure.
Amidst all the burden of Nigeria on the states with over population Lagos is still progressive while Nigeria isn't to some extent.

Quitting a good paying job in a state hospital to attend Military screening two years.

I got disqualified for my state just a day to face the board (AFSB) after many has been disqualified (wasn't on merit cos Army sabi do wuru wuru). I was so pained but came back to Lagos and could not continue my job.

Stayed home for 3 months feeding on the savings I had, before sense came into me to start my personal business.

To God be the Glory I'm doing well in my business and I thanked God I took that decision quitting, cos if not I will be so comfortable receiving that monthly salary and not improve myself

It's obviously the most commercial but you should travel though - Kano & PHC are cities in any way that Lagos is.

I don't know who advices the current Nigeria leadership.

How will it make sense to them that someone who has been living in the desert for all his life will make for better policing than someone who has been living in the creeks all his life?

Some states can support their own policing if allowed, states like Lagos and Anambra cannot allow the slow, heavy policing that has been slowing their states businesses and delaying court processes.

Bringing police hierarchy from the North to police southern States or vice versa is only a recipe for disaster. Let people police the areas they can understand.

I doubt state police is our silver bullet to insecurity.

As we speak now there various forms of the equivalent of state policing going on in all parts of the country and the pulse is that they're neither here nor there.

Is it Hisbah, ESN, Amotekun, UGM or the dozens of half decent Vigilante groups that can become tyrants themselves.

Funny enough as I type this Access bank has been recruiting foreign university graduands (of Nigerian origin) since the last 3+ years.

Of the top ten highest paid Nigerian CEOs in Nigeria (by nairametrics) only 1 was Nigerian. But even that one is mixed race. Virtually all Projects of importance in Nigeria & companies of repute are led by foreigners.

Nigeria is a highly populated country with huge job deficits. Depending on how fast banks can train employees, there are a sea of replacements waiting for every departure in those banks.

The average bank employee leaving would leave no dent to the firm's progress.
When massive exodus take a toll on companies in Nigeria we won't need to be told, we'll see it.

The idea that one can do well against the backdrop of a failing economy is laudable but not sustainable. Your country casts a huge backdrop over one's success.

An export focused shoe company in Italy can start on the same day with another export focused Nigerian shoe company — both with the same capital BUT the Italian is already ahead (reputationally) because of the backdrop Italy creates globally as a fashion haven.

The same negative backdrop can be adduced to the Nigerian Project.
