At least the endowed inhabitants of the oil region should take the fight while the Igbo's follow behind... There is no such thing as "Niger Deltan". Even Abia state where Kanu comes from is part of the 'Niger Delta' and is an oil producing state. What matters is ethnic group |

The Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa were already self governing before colonial agents arrived in West Africa to merge all together illegally. Azikiwe said so, Awolowo said so, as well as Tafawa Balewa. You dont get it. Lugard should have never have established anything in the first place. It is because of his establishment that Igbo/Hausa/Yoruba found themselves in one country when all three ethnic groups have no business being together. |

There are far more serious cases such as robbery, cultism, arson that the case file has not seen the light of day but it is IPOB they send to CID for an offense which not more than "noise making". They also locked up a 15 year old boy?
Nigeria is truly a disgrace of a country and Kanu is right to want to exit this Hell with his people.
Kudos to IPOB legal team. Only in a backward country can anyone spend a second in jail for something as irrelevant as "public disturbance" |

I don't really know what is happening to this guy. It seems the agitation of a thing has gotten into his head. He is not being diplomatic about what he is fighting for.
I don't like when men that are learned take it upon themselves to cause anxiety all over the places. Nigeria is tensed up already and we don't need to get involved into anything that will bring about blood shed or any kind of chaos.
We need peace in Nigeria; in the north, east, west and south. Mr president is not even helping matters. His body language is nothing to write home about. He is just not helping matters. Everythong about him is just lies. Their is too much anger, division, and hatred in the land caused by this present government. Only an ignorant person thinks there can be peace in a situation were people are held against their will. Kanu isnt the problem, Nigeria simply does not work |

Emyogalanya: when Nigerians fought for Independence was it in the Colonial masters constitution to grant it? No it wasnt. The only difference is that our Colonial masters, Britain, are a civilised people. If Britain had wanted, they could have said 'the unity of the British empire is not negotiable!' They would then throw all the nationalist who were agitating for independence like Zik and Awolowo into jail, try them for treason and gun down anyone who came out to protest. But Britain, being the civilised country it is, knew that it is wrong to hold anyone against their will. So they granted everyone their independence at the appropriate time. Countries like Nigeria, India, Ghana and the rest all got their independence and the British empire was no more. Britain even allowed its own area, Scotland, a referendum in 2014. But Nigerians are far from being as civilised as Britain. Thats why Nigeria is still shooting Biafran protesters, detaining and charging Kanu and his supporters to court and stating that "the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable" |

sgtponzihater1: Nnamdi Kanu have not for once brought up any logical framework for Biafra, rather his crude tool have been cooking up series of hate speeches that haven't created any improvement plan. Aba is still one of the dirtiest markets in Africa, is it not oveerseen by Igbos?, without a developmental framework and a superior arguement, KANU remains a man who wants his chunk of the national cake, and wants it big. Ipobs are pickpocketing fellow Ipobs at rallies, Onitsha remains the deadliest city for stranger to walk in at Night, what difference then would Kanu's Biafra bring without a frame work for development and an intelligent argument. I am an apostle of truth, peace and progress, and have fallen out of favour even with my brothers in this regard. I believe carving out a country will make a rich formidable and enviable country, however I do not believe in Kanu's Biafra and his ill-centred antics. The time will come, we might not even call it Biafra, but not via the mischief maker called Kanu.
That is the essentail Kanu. A man who leaves his family in Europe with british citizenship and returns home to encourage jobless youths to take up a poorly understood and calculated struggle. A man who did not witness the Civil war nor saw the unending pain that went with it. A man who calls blacks less than Whites and equate them with animals, even threatening to anhinilate them where he white. That is the essetail Nnamdi Kanu
Don't let the scammers fool you. Kanu's job is not to get a logical framework for Biafra, his job is to get Biafra. The famework is for Biafrans to go and get after Biafra is achieved |

Check the history books, no one even comes close. Restructuring is the best we've got. I suggest rather you waste your time fantasising about Ojukwu, you put it to good use by learning skills that would make you valuable and put some money in your pockets so that you can leave some for your children.
If you had at least N10m in your account, you won't be looking forward to chaos. It is only street urchins and hoodlums that look forward to such You are just another timewaster who will be begging Northern Nigeria for restructuring for the bext 1,000 years as the slave you are. I asked you a simple question. Who else un Africa has fought for the freedom of his people like Ojukwu? Let me tell the reality of Nigeria incase you dont know, it is the same reality Ojukwu saw 50 years ago, and it still remains the same: "There are only two types of people in Nigeria, those who seek their independence such as Ojukwu, Kanu, IPOB, MASSOB etc and those who have accepted to become perpetual slaves of the North" The slaves are still shout restructuring. |

TheEminentLaity: I don't expect you to agree with all of it, but at least you are with me in acknowledging that Ojukwu was the biggest coward that ever lived. Provide a name if you think there's someone else who deserves the honour. Hmmmmm Ojukwu, the son of one the richest men in Nigeria but forsaked his father wealth and joined the Army? Ojukwu who fought in the Congo? Ojukwu who declared the independence of his people and fought the combined military might of Nigeria, Britain and Russia for 3 years? This is the man you call a coward just because he didnt stay back to allow you Nigerians slaughter him? Tell me another individual in Nigeria who has fought for the freedom of his people like Ojukwu did? No one. Now, I'll tell you what miserable is. Miserable is when out of the over 7billion people alive today and the billions that had once lived, it is Ojukwu, the infamous coward, you not only choose as a model but also idolise. His family is right in front of you eating fat from Nigeria and you want to break your poverty stricken undereducated vacuous skull for Biafra. If you could read, you would have understood by now that the millions of men and women including children who died of starvation and malnutrition from the foolish egotist maniac's tantrum, died for nothing. Your hero and his family proves this. It is because you suffer from slave mentality is the reason yoy dont know anything about freedom fighting. Nigeria fought, killed and starved millions to death because of Oil money. Ojukwu fought for the freedom of his people, Nigeria fought for money. Which is more noble? As an Igbo man, Im proud of Ojukwu for fighting for the freedom of our people rather than choose the easy option all others chose of being slaves of the North. The millions that died did not die for nothing, the Biafra they died for is now more alive than ever. FYI, Ojukwu was buried by the Nigerian state. His family are ambassadors of the country he led innocent families to fight a needless war against. He hid in a bunker, ran off then returned and continued to contest elections. Shameless somebody, even sea captains go down with a foundering ship. Even the hate-filled Nnamdi Kanu has much bigger balls than the coward could even imagine.
People are clamoring for a restructured Nigeria, don't distract us with your Ojukwu and Biafra nonsense. If the war was needless, why did you Nigerians come to the East to fight for 3 years? Ojukwu fought for his people, went into exhile, returned later and accepted Nigeria. When he started enjoying his entitlements as a Nigerian such as contesting elections, you haters called him out. So when Ojukwu was for Biafra, you people were against him. When he now was for ONE NIGERIA, you people are still against him. Ojukwu led his people in a fight for freedom and and independence and we make no apologies for it. Nigeria turned out to be a monumental disaster since the end of the war, proving Ojukwu right. Nnamdi Kanu is talking about freedom and people like yoy are talking about restructuring, which everbody already knows that the North will never ever agree to. You people clamouring for restructuring are just time wasters. |
