Victorvexz:Go and find your Country instead of running around like a headless Chicken looking for the Hausa and Igbo man you will do 'one Nigeria' with. |
Victorvexz:The Oil Money from Orient Oil Otu-Ocha in Anambra, Shell in Ukwa East Abia state, Agip in Ohaji-Egbema in Imo state is probably paying for the generator in your Local Government Headquarters. I don't want to even go into Oil coming out of other areas in Igboland like Oshimili in Delta and Obi-Igbo and Asa in Rivers that helps pay for you parasites to keep Nigeria going |
HungerBAD:And you are still buying a bag of rice at N30,000 and fuel at N150. You have a lot to be happy about |
The North should even happy that they have a market for their food stuff. They don't controbute anything to Nigeria anyway |
Fake News peddler |
egift:Of course! Igbos, are an ethnic group with no history of holding anyone against their will. A far cry from from Yorubas and Hausa/Fulanis who have a long history of invading other peoples lands to create empires. There is one big difference between NDA and Boko Haram. Unlike Boko Haram, NDA are yet to kill anybody |
Real2020:And how did you reach this conclusion? |
South West is the pride of Nigeria And yet they are still running around looking for the Hausa and Igbo man to do 'one Nigeria' with. |
searchiing4love:Yes, and that's what makes the Igbo man different from the likes of you who are still carrying the torch of Lugard. The Igbos will keep fighting and agitating until they get their freedom from the symbol of colonial slavery called Nigeria. We are aware that there are tribes who as soon as they saw Lugard, they raised their hands in defeat and said 'oga White man, please take my land and resources but don't kill me'. That act of cowardice has been handed down from one generation to another, from one slave to another. If it is not slavery to the British, it is slavery to the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy, but the slavery continues and 'one Nigeria' is their unifying point. The people who are proud to named after a River. I laugh in Igbo. Who cares what flag Ojukwu was buried with? Biafra was never about Ojukwu same as it is not about Kanu, those men are leaders of independence movements, they are not the movement its self. The message is greater than messenger. One thing is clear though, Lord Lugards colonial creation of oppression called Nigeria can't ever move foward for no divided house ever progresses. So in the end, you guys can shout 'one Nigeria' all you want while tour country heads nowhere. |
Real2020:I remember the days when many Yorubas were shouting on the Internet "he is enjoying himself in London", "he will never return to Nigeria". But Nnamdi shamed all of them by announcing the date he will return. He fearlessly returned to look his enemy in the eye. That's the stuff that freedom fighters are made of. His subsequent arrest and detention made the world hear about Biafra. Today, nobody can decieve the outside world that Nigeria is a united country. The cheap media campaign of the Daura shoe shiners by inventing a phantom TRIPOB only backfired on them and exposed them as amatures. |
The leader of the new organisation is "Ikemba Biafra"? These people must have gone to Ali Baba to learn comedy. |
searchiing4love:Any Igbo you see complaining about appointments is someone who belongs to the minority who still believe in one Nigeria. I'm interested in the majority. Zik was nationalist, his job was to get the British out before anything else and he did his job. It was for the younger generation such as Ojukwu determin the future, not Zik. My forefathers were never pro Nigeria. They fought three wars to prove it. They fought the Ekumeku war and the Arochukwu war against the British so as not to be included in Nigeria. They later fought the Biafran war to get out of Nigeria. People who are fighting not to be part of something cannot be said to part of that thing. As for Nnamdi Kanu, if encouraging his people to seek noble goals such as freedom, self determination and sovereignty makes him a charlatant, then I want to a charlatant too. Kanu is willing to die for his beliefs just like Mandela, nobody said freedom fighting is a painless venture. Igbos have never been free since Lugard came to west Africa to include them in the 'British Business venture' called Nigeria. If Igbos were free, they would have had the right to decide if they want to be Nigerians or not. Nigeria remains the instrument of oppression that Lugard designed it to be. |
Braden104:Greater potential? How? Won't they still be under Nigeria where they will have neither have control of their resources and economic life? So what potential is there? The ethnic nationalities that constitute Akwa-Cross are the closest people to the Igbos. Most of the Biafran groups have said that should Biafra be realised, the area called Akwa-Cross will become "Oyono Region" with 100% resource control. I have to admit that I don't were the word Oyono comes from or its meaning, it could be the name of a Deity in Ibibio land. |
I think that Vanguard should have been more thorough in its reportage. Vanguard knows that the entire leadership of IPOB is based abroad. So how how can group based in Nigeria be sacking a group based abroad based on a press release? Even common sense will tell anyone that a Biafran group can never even contemplate burning the Biafran flag unless they are being sponsored by the Nigerian establishment. |
Igbo presidency is a worthless venture. It is like askng someone to forget the food on the table and go for the crumbs on the floor. We Igbos have watched others who have held the presidency at one time or another, it didn't help them. The presidency of Nigeria is poison. Igbos are never going to give up their God given right to reclaim their sovereignty that was stolen by the 'British gangster' called Lord Frederick Lugard when he was creating the illegal and enforced union commonly refered to as Nigeria. Nigerians can be hypocrites. The average Nigerian will say that he understands why Zik, Awolowo, Bode Thomas etc fought for independence from Britain but the same Nigerian will turn around and say he doesn't know why Igbos are fighting for independence from Nigeria. Yet the reasons are the same. The presidency of Nigeria is worthless to me as an Igbo man. My freedom, sovereignty and independence is far more important. |
omolola15:And the question a lot of Igbos ask Yorubas such as your self is why do you want to be with Igbos in "one Nigeria"?. Before Lord Lugard came, you Yorubas didn't even know who Igbos were, today, you guys shout that you are one with Igbos and that Nigeria is sacrosant. How many Igbos here on NL or otherwise are shouting that they must be one with Yorubas? Have you ever heard any Igbo man ,besides politicians, say they must be one with Hausa/Fulani? The same Britain that created Nigeria was willing to split up with Scotland it has been with for over 300 years by granting Scotland a referendum in 2014. Yet, it is Nigeria that is roughly a hundred years old that are saying they will destroy each other rather than separate? This isn't about Kanu. If Nigeria was truly meant to be a nation, it would have even been us Igbos that would have arrested and detained Kanu before the Nigerian Government. But the truth is that just because Lord Lugard brought us all together doesn't mean we are destined to be together or even be together. |
iHustle336:It is quite simple. Just become a Hausa/Fulani Herdsman. |
Elkay3:There is nothing gaulible about an organisation that supports and preaches freedom and self determination. The only only gaulible people are those who accept the 'British invented colonial prison' called Nigeria as true country |
A man who knew he is wanted in Nigeria but still fearlessly returned to look his enemy in the eye is not defrauding anybody. That man is a freedom fighter. |
The leadership of IPOB is based abroad. The deputy leader is in London, the COC is in America, the legal advicer is in London, the head of directorate is in Spain, all the continental reps don't live in Africa. And yet, some unknown individual in Nigeria is sacking a leadership based abroad? I want to roll of the floor and laugh. That's how they came up with reformed Niger Delta Avengers. They want to apply the same tactic to IPOB. Where they made their mistake is that they didn't remember that IPOB leadership is based abroad unlike the NDA. Therefore, it is not possible to sack the leadership of IPOB from Nigeria. |
Ghost447:Don't make me laugh. The so called SW, NE, NW etc you are talking about is not even recognised by the constitution. people talk about these "Geo-political zones" without knowing that they are illegal because they are not backed up by any law. Basically, SS, SE and the rest of them are mere geographical expressions that Government sometimes uses in economic planning. They don't actually mean anything. What means something are tribes, the group of people who have a common language, value system, cultural affinity and ideology and history. The rest mean nothing. |
Ghost447:Igbo is a tribe, Delta is not. As for your so called SS/SE, they are just mere geopolitical zones. Nobody even heard of anything called SS or SE 20 years ago. In Nigeria, we talk about tribes, not invented terms like Delta or SS that doesn't really mean anything |
michaelandre:What lies? Self determination and the right to choose one's fate? As for this 'Niger Delta attach', there is no tribe called Niger Delta and Biafra has never been an Igbo only thing. |
Okorohausa the traitor |
As an Anambra man, I will say that Willie Obiano has done enough to deserve a second term. However, I will not be voting for him due to the lack lustre way he approached way the IPOB shootings. A Governor should be standing up for his people, not cowing to the excesses of the Nigerian security agencies. So I won't be voting Obiano because of the IPOB shootings and if there are many like me that share the same sentiments, then Obiano is in trouble. |
Nigeria is a lawless nation. How can the police go and arrest someone simply for being a Biafran activist? The signs of the times we are in. |
A Yoruba guy weds an Igbo girl. Not everyday you see that happening. |
[quote author=mikolo80 post=48833974]better still to win without even fighting.ask awo[/quote No need asking a man who thinks or thought that sovereignty comes out of the a$$ of Northerners. |
Osyabj:Ngige is not likely to run for Governor of Anambra again. He has been Governor before, he has been senator and is now at the national stage as minister. Before you declare Ngige winner of the yet to be conducted elections, wait and see if he intends to run at all. |

Igbo's lost all the 3 fruitless wars they fought against Nigeria. Whatelse do u people need to convince u that your destiny lies in nigeria? The Ojukwu that started biafra contested for nigeria's president and even died a patriotic Nigerian with Nigerian flag wrapped on his coffin. Are you guys more wiser than the Ojukwu's and the Zik's who were pro Nigeria? Kanu is a coward who only runs his mouth for fun in exchange for donations. He has tried every means to regain freedom including writing the British embassy and the ecowas court. He is not ready to die for biafra. He is a fraud that people like u and 39xtr90r found mentorship in
