hello fam am working somewhr and I applied for an undergraduate studies in canada I got admission, I applied for the undergraduate program because of my low c gpa.

Note: I was trying to avoid any interference from office based on in 3months I will be 1yr working there I wanted it private even though they approved my leave this month

Now i will be submitting my documents for trv by Thursday all documents ready I want to ask is it necessary to include introductory letter from office my employment letter and work I.d card are already available.
Emmm, just before you submit your application, hope you have been able to justify with compelling reasons why you are going for another undergrad degree and in canada. Kindly tie all loosed ends, study gap must be explained substantially, your new field should have had preceeding interest or previous activity from you no matter how little.

Having a low cgpa alone might not be completely convincing. It will be hard to believe that an indulgence of 4 years had little or no interest attached to it. Please, do well to give a header in your application that you will do extremely well in your intended program.

Your low cgpa can work for or against you. Your application should assure the VO that your interest for another undegrad wasn't totally because of a low GPA but also from another strong premise. If you have documentary evidences to show, add it. That way you will strongly present yourself as a competitive student who will not struggle while studying in canada because they know it will be highly competetive and challenging studying in Canada especially as an undergraduate student.

BTW, since there will be need to explain your study gap and what you have been doing, you should add the introductory letter and a photocopy lf the ID card. It will reflect your current activity.

All the best in your application.

try your relative(s) application with such and come and tell us the NEWS here since i can see you have already applied. There must be relationship either to your undergraduate or directly to your profession/duties/responsibilities/role if employed or activities as the case may be. As long as such mediocre application is from a 3rd world country like Nigeria. even if you like take it to a professor in linguistics to write such SOP for you with all the grammars in the advance English dictionary,it will hardly fly
Well said!

But the question is always; Have you been refused a visa to any country previously? Your answer should be a Yes or No. Going into details sometimes might derail the process. Saying an agent filled in false info, do you have proof backing that statement? Was it ticked that your us visa application was completed with the help of an agent?

I believe a simple ''Yes'' is all you need.

Just my thought though.

Gurus in the house, your input is needed too.

Warm Regards
DereI
I do not think any further input would insinuate any thing different from yours. I personally couldn't have agreed more to your thought.

Dear Austinpee,
Biko, kindly enlighten me more about this reason to extend stay.
I beg sir.
As stipulated by IRCC, visitors can extend their stay and change their status while in canada. However, reason for such extention or change MUST follow laid down guidance and each application must also meet the requirements for the category of visa/permit they require and will have to apply 30days before the expiration of their status.

OK , Thank you for your advice . how about I apply alongside with my husband then the kids can b with my parents in Lagos here ,how easy can the kids join me after I have traveled ? I mean getting a visa . although our intention was apply for schools for them when my admission pulls through before we apply for visas .they are age 5, 3,and 9months who ll b 1yr plus when everything finally works out.
Not a bad idea. They can join you as soon as you arrive canada. You will apply for a visiting visa for them and there is also an opportunity of changing their status within canada for schooling purposes once they are of school age or enrolled in a facility.(This is considered a reason to extend stay)

But honestly ma'am, i think you should put more energy in convincing a visa officer about your intended program. This is the first step if you even want to consider your family going with you. If your permit is not approved, all your plans to go with them might be stalled. So carefully choose a program that shows progression, addition and relevance to your current activity before you apply else you risk your application being refused for purpose of visit irrespective of your finances, hometies etc.

Regards.

Not to discourage you or anything. Your profile is very complicated and visa approval is slim.
First one is the inconsistency you have in your education. Sociology, teaching, fashion, hospitality and management. It cannot fly even with the best SOP.
Second one is you want to go with your 3 kids and even your husband. Those are the main people you can use as hometies. Questions like who is going to run your husband's business will arise cos you have stated that he will be in charge of the children.
I'll advise you to find a course related to your undergraduate since you don't have any substantial work experience in either teaching or fashion.
Don't apply with all your children . Trust me they can join you later. Taking 3 kids along with you when you want to go study doesn't paint a picture of a serious student IMO. And Later can be as early as 2 months.
Just my opinion.
I completely agree with you.

@bettylad, your application will appeal more like an economic migrant than a genuine student. Your purpose of visit will certainly be questioned. There is huge inconsistency in your profile and your outward intention of going with all your family members will not even help matters. I mean, you mentioned your husband will take care of the kids, he will be expected to be working and supporting the family while also taking care of the business back in nigeria since you will be on full time study. So his stay in canada will be assumed a temporary one or atleast not being around most of the time. Using that line will be shooting your self in the foot. Landed properties are not stronger hometies than family, they can be sold off at anytime for any reason. Family in nigeria have always been the strongest of them all even if it's just one immediate family member.

All the same, fix your purpose of visit first just like @likeababygirl and @maziude mentioned. It is the start off point.

good day everyone , please I need a very good advice and I hope I will get one , I applied for a post graduate course in Canada ,I applied for two different college,I would like to know how long it takes before admission is granted , I'm looking at 2018 Jan batch ,Also I intend to go with my 3kids but a friend told me I won't b granted visa cos of my kids , it ll make it look like we are relocating which is one of the reason why I intend to go and study there , how true is this please cos I can't imagine leaving my kids behind for 2yrs before I can file for them or separating them by traveling with one and leaving the others . my husband is my sponsor he lives in dubai and will b coming along though won't b based there cos he has his company in dubai and in Nigeria .
I will like to know if it's actually possible to apply for study visa with three kids ?
Ma'am, admission would always be on a rolling basis. Meaning, as soon as they review your application, an offer should be made and only your school can give you the exact time frame to grant admision. It will surely come well ahead for your study permit application against jan 2018.

Secondly, the major reason it is advisable to apply first for your study permit before applying for family members is to sufficiently demonstrate strong home ties. Notwithstanding, if you have other VERY strong home ties and enough funds to cater for your kids as well as convince officers that they will not be a distraction to your study in canada, then you can apply for them alongside your application.

You and your kids CAN be granted visas for your study purpose but the onus and burden will be on you to convincingly demostrate other strong hometies, sufficient funds and most importantly, prove to the visa officer that your primary intention is to study. Also, depending on your kids ages, you will have to clearly show plans to keep them occupied while you study.

Your husband living and owning a business in dubai may not demonstrate strong hometie to nigeria, so while you wait for your offer from the schools you applied to, you should strategize around a strong hometie. This is really IMPORTANT. (i'd say apply alone first and later apply for visiting visas for your kids. It can be as soon as you arrive canada. They won't have to wait till after your program)

Meanwhile, i want to believe your current activity(job) is related to your intended program or atleast, you have some activity in what you intend to study.

Regards.

The thing is that I want to do the upfront medicals z what bio data form should I take along?
You probably didn't tell them you wanted to do an upfront medical. Anyway, go there the day you booked with your international passport, other requirements and fees(i don't know if you can pay there or prior). Tell them you want to do upfront, they will attend to you.

There is a lot of praise to God going on the house over success of a TRV application. I think this is great. But I will caution we desist from utterances like saying if someone repents, they too will see the favor of God. This would seem to indicate that only the most faithful enjoy the favor of God or have in them the power to direct the will of God. Fact is, God will have favor on whosoever he wills. We are witnesses on this thread that both the faithful and faithless enjoy God's favor. Sometimes also, both the faithful and faithless have been turned away. God is no respecter of persons. Wanted to only correct the fundamental misunderstanding that getting a visa or not getting it, says anything about your rightness with God. All is based on God's will. Wishing all success and all TRV approvals congrats, should be the appropriate cause of response. Thanks.
Hehe....My bro, must you always analyse things?

I've noticed since you joined us here, there is so much ambiguous, attack, controversal and defensive post coming always from you. While i personally enjoy reading your post especially ones with your big grammar, it's not everything i think you should respond to especially if you were not quoted directly.

C'mon.. You are a man na. Just flow with the atmosphere and leave anything that will will cause drags, controversy or spoil the atmoshpere. Some of your post have undertone that can cause another round of heated arguments and i trust you, you won't relent in that one lol.

We all are like a family here, everything said and mentioned are only for that moment. Nothing should be prolonged or repeated unnecessarily. Na only TRV approval we won dey see just like we saw yesterday.

Biko just leave any further post, no even reply this one. Just read and pass so that Buhari go well soon! grin.
