Mikky4canny: Finished 2014. Working as admin manager for 9months plus. Okay. I also think you should include a statement of purpose/intent to just give specifics on how the intended program would add significantly to any further advancement in your career. 2014 up untill 9months ago MAY not totally justify to a VO why you desire a master degree in a different field from your undergraduate study. You barely entered the field and most definitely extensive work experience would be expected to be your consideration since it will be on that basis you would need further knowledge academically to compliment the work experience gotten. So endeavour to give a clear cut reason for going for this program just barely when you started working in the field. Once you can do that, your purpose of visit will be seen as a more precise one to address a need or to supplement for some lapses. I'll advice you discuss more on the program CONTENT, it's knowledge application to your daily job description at your current place of work and why a master would be best for you as against more work experience that will ground you better. Regards |

bbclue: Good evening housemate
Please I once used company account for my visit visa to Canada and was rejected and now I want another company that is different from the first still want to sponsor me is there any implications to that There is no implication. Your main aim should be that the company satisfactorily justify why they are sponsoring your visit and how it will be beneficial to them. This will be the burden on any company that decides to sponsor your trip. |

Yomalicious: When I applied for Visiting Visa, paper route) they returned every document except those addressed to the high commission. They would not accept original docs like birth certificate, degree certificates, waec and so on. Only photocopies Well, you quoted the wrong moniker and besides, since February this year, supporting documents for a refused study permit applications are NOT returned anymore. Only the passport and the refusal letter. |

Please help a bro I honestly do not know the procedure to retrieve original document(s) submitted to CIC. I know the only ask for photocopies because they will not be returned. I also understand that when an applicant insist on adding an original document, a form is given to fill by VFS officials as a willing decision by applicant to add such document as against the visa office instruction. So you may want to contact VFS office to find out how you can retrieve your original document. |

Folumade1: IN A BID TO LINK MY APPLICATION ONLINE i have encountered many a difficulty my question for those who have successfully linked theirs is that at that point of inputting the passport number, do we : These are the questions i will need clarifications to friends 1. INCLUDE THE ALPHABET for example A556650 or Just the Numbers 2. Is an Individual UCI number same thing all through even if you were denied once and you are reapplying will your UCI number remain same or they will generate a new one for you in line with the new application 2. IN THE PROGRAM end section the school only gave us the start date of the program and end month and year no day is indicated on the end day as such what do we input
I am positive if this infos can be attended to by peeps who have succesfully linked theirs online. many thanks @Austinpee @justwise @thesoj 1.Yes,include the alphabet before other numbers as imprinted on your passport and as filled in your application form. 2.Your UCI number will always remain the same for all applications whether refused or approved, new or old. It is your 'unique client identifier' on IRCC database that contain all your information. 3.Pick the last day of the month your program is ending or better still, use the end date you filled in your application. |

likeababygirl: Please we need to calm down and stop stressing over this VO/CBN issue. I have noticed that it's people that just applied or yet to apply that are so concerned about it. Personally, i believe it is not a general requirement because people have gotten their visas recently without it. Let us just chill so we don't complicate things for and by ourselves. If you want to pay your tuition, please do by all means but don't be compelled to pay it because some people received a letter asking them to pay theirs. Don't go and open canadian bank account and put money in it because if things go south, you won't be able to get your money back until you enter Canada o. What i'll just advice is, have your first year fees and living expenses readily available so IF you get such letter, there won't be room for panic. Thanks all My exact sentiment. |

Yasmine04: Hi House, good day. Please I have a question & it's abit of a concern to me. So I have already applied for my study permit visa (3rd application). Last year, I participated in an IT course that ended in November2016. I am currently participating in another course but with another IT center. My concern is, I collected a letter from d 1st IT center to include in my visa application last year. It stated then that 'I have been a student in d training center 'TILL DATE''. However, when applying again this year, I got another letter from my current IT training center stating I'm a student with them now. I went to my first IT center but they said they can't release another letter to me to show that I've completed my course with them that my certificate will cover that but it is not ready for collection, so I just had to put the first letter dat way in my current application because I needed to show I was busy then. My concern now is 'I hope this won't constitute a problem for me regarding that the first letter from the 1st IT center stated the word 'Till date' though I have finished my program with them. I got a new letter from my current training center which I started in February. I stated my start & end date of the first IT course on the application form though (present and past activities section). I hope they won't slap me with misrepresentation (God forbid) I will really appreciate a reply. Thank you. Cc austinpee and other gurus. I don't think this is an issue. Change is always a constant thing. You can fill when you started your new training in your current application while also indicating when you finished the previous one. Add the new letter for your current training center. It is your current activity and has no effect over your previous application. |

nairalandnewbie: Hi there, what happens in the event of refusal of trv? how does one get money back? Very good question! This is why one should wait untill instructed by the embassy to either pay fees or show that money are already deposited in canada or can be exported. With such instruction, an approval is imminent pending when the request is met. It will be too forward for anybody to deposit money without any term and condition of getting such funds back should a visa be refused especially for people that have not been instructed by the embassy to do so. |

Senatorkolade: I need the opinions of gurus on this forum.
I graduated with Second Class Lower in Agriculture. After my NYSC, I got a job in the aviation sector. I have been doing this since 2007. Now I want to go for an Advanced Diploma in Aquaculture in Canada which is a branch of Agriculture. I would have gone for Masters in Aquaculture but my 2:2 is an obstacle. This advanced diploma is equivalent to PGd in Aquaculture because after it, one can go straight for Masters. My concern is hope the VO will not see it as inconsistency in career progression. From Agriculture to Aviation and back to Agriculture Your concern as emboldened will be the reality that will face your application if you proceed. 2007 till now is a long time to gain sufficient work experience in the aviation industry and a master degree program will be reasonable to achieve in this path. More to your dilemma would be the choice of an advance diploma in a field you left long time ago without any major activitiy in since after school. A good choice would be a master or atleast a post graduate diploma in an aviation related field and not agriculture. It probably won't add up as to the rationale behind your decision to pursue higher study. I mean, what would you say is motivating you in this light? You will be cleary seen as an economic migrant rather than a bonafide student. |

phemmzy96: Gud evening everyone! Am new here. I av some enquiries to make concerning Canada student visa. # I want to know if anyone can stand as a sponsor for me. # Wat is required of a sponsor? Anybody can sponsor you. More to any statement of sponsorship, your sponsor should show a good level of commitment by transferring the equivalent of your tuition +10,000CAD while also be prepared to respond to any further instruction from the embassy to give assurance from the bank that said funds can be exported. An affidavit of sponsorship should be included too if your sponsor is a 3rd party. i.e not a relation. So make sure there is funds for your study and not just having a sponsor. |

CanadianNurse: Very quick question house and gurus My full first year tuition is $15,780 CAD which was what I filled in the funds transfer form in my bank from here in Nigeria....
After much much the school sent me RECEIPT quoting that amount received was $15,551 CAD which approximately remains $300 CAD to complete for the whole year fees quoted in my LOA probably because of the exchange rate or a few factors
MY QUESTION : Can I use this submit this receipt as evidence of payment of tuition fee for the first year?
Hope I have not misrepresented anything sha?
Cc: @austinepee4 @maziude @yemdogg @nelly28 @mcobex I do not think a deficit of 300CAD would be an issue and there is no case of misrepresentation in any sense. |
