Airing since 2002, with about a year’s break between each season, Top Gear has been the most watched TV show that reviews cars on the BBC channel- now it’s been called up again.

The first Tesla Model 3 is coming sooner than we all thought ,to be precise -Friday July 7th,according to series of tweets by Elon Musk.

He stated that the Model 3 passed all regulatory requirements two weeks earlier than expected thats why we have the first release coming sooner than the earlier fixed timeframe .

He also stated that by August they would have pushed out 100 units,September 1500 units and 20,000 units by December ! .

This is great news for all the very very long line of people who have deposited money to preorder the car -a thousand dollars to be precise.

Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor adds a new Can-Am Spyder bike to his automobile collection.

The former Arsenal and Man. City striker known to be a lover of cars shows off his Can-Am Spyder trike which cost about N8m (£18,000) on Instagram.

He also met with the President of Togo Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe to discuss ways improve schools in the region.

He donated 12million CFA Franc (£16,067) for the renovation of a school in the neighbourhood in which he grew up.

”This summer is all about giving,’‘ the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram.

”I want to make this learning place clean and accessible to all young folks in the area. May God protect us on this journey.”

Dubai is planing to deploy a fleet of self driving police cars that will scan people and identify criminals as their drive or walk on the road.

The self driving car will patrol the city on its own using biometric software to scan individuals it comes across. The officials hopes the use of the driverless car will help to detect crime easily.

The O-R3 security robot was built by OTSAW Digital, a singapore-based company. They have a laser scanner, thermal camera, HD cameras, GPS and lidar in order to navigate, and can additionally utilize these cameras for facial and license-plate recognition.

The robot vehicle is fully automated, however, humans can override the systems and easily take control of the OR-3 if necessary.

The Dubai police department has previously discussed its intention of replacing 25% of its police force with robots… and they already introduced their first robotic police officer to the force last month.

One day, container trucks would drive on the street of Lagos with style. No more unlatched containers, no more falling, no emissions. Not just that, no more drivers too (good or bad?).

Self-driving trucks are taking over and they are being tested across Europe already. Instead of what you see at Apapa port today, expect to see something like this Volvo Autonomous Electric Carrier which was inked by industrial product design student, Kaan Karagoz.

He got his inspiration from a movie “Logan”.. and the Turkish student noticed the problems with manned trucks. So he decided to design a carrier with no driver which increases cargo space, making it aerodynamically efficient, more balanced and easier to maneuver. You can also load the truck from all directions instead of what we used to have that permitted loading from the rear or side only.

It will surely get to Nigeria someday. You want or Not?

Ask any 5 year old boy if they know how to drive.. I bet you, they’ll give you a yes. Toyota is obviously aware of this and it has necessitated the launch of a special driving school, called Camatte.

The Camatte Petta mini car will enable the kids put their driving skills to test on track after learning how to use the throttle, brake, and steering on a simulator.

The kids can personalize the look of their cars, with panel designs, and colorful magnetic decals to make the body look different before they take a drive. After completing the challenge, they will be awarded with their own drivers licence, complete with photos.

This is definitely a publicity stunt which would go a long way to build brand loyalty.

The Lagos State Government on Wednesday warned traders in the habit of displaying their wares on the road for sale beyond the confines of the market thereby causing traffic gridlock and other environmental nuisance to desist henceforth otherwise markets where such illegal activities are perpetrated would be shut down till further notice.

The State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, who handed down the warning at a meeting with leaders of Agbado Oke-Odo Market held at Lagos House in Ikeja, said the activities of the traders who are in such habit had reached a level which the State Government could no longer condone, hence the need for a final warning.

The Governor, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tunji Bello, said the leaders of markets in the State have been warned and counseled severally on the need to rein in on their market men and women to desist from disturbing others through their trading activities on the roads, but some have become adamant.

He said aside causing avoidable and needless traffic, the traders were also in the habit of dumping their refuse on the road, thereby causing environmental and health hazards.

He said: “This is just to come and deliberate on the Agbado Oke-Odo Market because of the situation there. The market has become a stumbling block particularly to those using the road. The traders have blocked the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway to the extent that even the contractors working there don’t have place to work because they have taken over the area.

“They cause a lot of traffic gridlock and people coming from Ota or from Abule Egba don’t have the road to connect other areas of the State. We have warned them consistently but we are yet to get any result. That is why we have summoned today’s meeting.

“The meeting is basically to call them to order and give them the last warning. The idea initially was to shut down the market today but the Governor decided that we should give them just one week to put things in order,” Bello said.

He said in as much as government was not interested in shutting down markets, but it would have no choice than to wield the big stick if traders continue constituting themselves as menace to other road users.

“What we are saying is that the government is not interested in shutting down any market because of the economic implication on the people who have to survive and live. As a government, we are not interested in shutting down business enterprises and all that, but if it is constituting menace and inconveniencing other people, we will have no choice than to wield the big stick, and that is why we are giving the market leaders the last warning to go and re-order their market.

“The leaders of the market must sit up and look at how to help government because we cannot say because we are trading, we should inconvenience people who go to work from Abule Egba to Lagos Island for instance and to other places and they have to spend hours on that road just because of the activities of the traders.

“Apart from that, we have a lot of filth on the road because the market people just dump their refuse on the road. We don’t want that anymore and that is why we are giving this last warning. We don’t want anybody on the road again and whatever we have to do internally as a government, we will not hesitate to do. We will send Task Force and the men of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) to the place to ensure sanity.

“This warning to Agbado Oke-Odo traders also applies to other markets in the State. Any market where their traders are blocking the road and constituting menace to others will be shut down till further notice,” Bello threatened.

Responding on behalf of others, Babaloja Araromi Agbado Oke-Odo, Alhaji Mukaila Oyinlola, said as market leaders, they have warned the traders who are in the habit of selling on the road to desist, but their warnings have fallen on deaf ears, adding that the resolve of government was a welcome development.

Also, Iyaloja Araromi Oke-Odo Market, Mrs Dupe Shonola and Babaloja General of Agbado Oke-Odo Market, Alhaji Abiodun Kosoko urged government to make examples of the perpetrators of the illegal act, but called for expansion and modernization of the market.

4.Call Everyone You Know
Call as many people as possible.Friends,family,co-workers etc.

They might be of help,let them know what has just happened.

5.Contact Your Insurance Company
You should let your insurance company know about the theft, incase you don’t get your car back.

6.Post It Online
Place it everywhere, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Nairaland.

Did you just say “its a bad idea and you might be alerting the thief ” ?.Well, its better than keeping quiet.

7.Offer A Reward
You should definitely offer a reward , it helps people get more interested and motivated in helping you find the car.

You might get lucky and the thief might pretend to be a good Samaritan and give information of the location for the reward.Since he knows the news is out there and might be difficult to sell it

8. Call The Police

For me, I have never been a fan of that heavy concrete used to separate the BRT lanes on Lagos Roads. It’s been more of a death trap and this is evidenced by this terrible accident that occurred on Ikorodu Road.. as a driver drove into the BRT lane demarcation.

Pagani has teamed up with Airbus Corporate Jets to create a new Infinito cabin design for the ACJ319neo.

Looking downright decadent, the cabin is awash with premium leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and LED lighting units. The plane has also been equipped with soft-leather carpets and wood floors which curve to form a natural pathway through the cabin.

If that wasn't impressive enough, the two companies developed handmade carbon fiber furniture, sculpted metal features, and a high-tech media center with a flat screen television.

Customers will also find a large dividing wall between the lounge and conference area which can transition from transparent to opaque at the touch of a button. However, the real deal is a "sky ceiling" which projects a live view of the sky above the aircraft onto the roof.

According to Horacio Pagani, "The combination of state-of-the-art composite materials never used before in an aircraft, such as CarboTitanium, with the typical design language of Pagani Automobili, has always represented our signature. Applying our Reinassance touch into the wider spaces of Airbus corporate jet cabins is the beginning of an exciting new venture for us."

This isn't the first time Airbus has teamed up with an automotive company as their helicopter division previously worked with the Peugeot Design Lab to create the sleek H160.

For the 13th time in succession readers of the German "Off Road" magazine have voted the Mercedes-Benz Unimog the best off-road vehicle of the year in the "special-purpose vehicles" category. The "Off-Road Vehicle of the Year" poll had a total of twelve categories. More than 20 000 votes were cast, with 135 vehicles in the running. The Unimog took first place in the special-purpose vehicles category with a phenomenal 31.4 percent of readers' votes.

Whether it's in the Sahara Desert, in the River Niger or on the Olumo Rock, there are few challenges that the Mercedes-Benz Unimog would not be capable of taking on.

The extreme off-road model series enjoys particular popularity worldwide as an expedition vehicle.
