My car is displaying check engine light on dashboard. just scanned it and I got 3 errors out of which 2 were wiped out but the P0340 refused to go and the check engine light is still on. The automec guy told me the remaining one will need to be access thoroughly and is not computer work. Anyone with idea? I need solution asap.

Hello Everyone,

I notice my gear would take time before it shift sometimes I rev up to 4 rpm and stay for a while about 3 mins before it shifts although not everytime.
when last did you service your transmission? if you did was it with the recommended oil or otherwise?

I also notice the engine sometimes vibrates when I use the brakes in traffic and stops momentarily before it begins to move again.
could be as a result of misfire, bad spark plugs, clogged injectors, bad engine mounts or some other things. needs to be diagnosed.

Lastly, When am accelerating the car would sometimes jerk a lil before it begins to move..
bad engine mounts, tranmission failure, misfire, weak ignition spark ect

Please what could be wrong??
alot could be wrong and just one thing could be wrong. find a competent tech to help you with diagnosing your vehicle.

The car is a Honda City 2007.

The competent mechanic is my issue o. The Kazeem i used last time was terrible. I need a good one that can either come fix the car at my place or pick and drop when finished. I am rarely available except on sundays. I'm open to suggestions if you know anyone that can offer such services.

My car just went off in traffic and rewire checked the alternator after the car drained 2 batteries.
He said its bad.
So here comes my question, how reliable is it to repair (recoil) or should i just go ahead and get another one. My pocket no too deep, na why i dey ask.

Aunty Radu.. Some Kia/Hyundai sold brand new in Naija no get O2 sensor, no airbag, some na Obd1 dem dey carry , it is call "naija spec"..

For this case I am not sure 08 Tucson was sold brand new here sha..

Formally it was only in two cylinders I noticed the fouled plugs but today I notice it in all plugs

Forgive my memory, I just got it clearly now. I'm being confused with duty cycle of electric motors as their speed is controlled by the percentage duty cycle and forgetting that injectors duty cycle varies the amount of time it will open, thinking it only controls rotary related components. I agree injectors are pulse width modulated.

Mitsubishi cars are relatively cheap though. I even know someone that wants to sell a 2000 Mitsubishi lancer for that same amount. He might even reduce the price if he gets a serious buyer ready to pay.

Look around your local area and dealers.
You will be surprised at cars you can get.
The country is very Hard right now people are selling their cars at give away prices just to feed.
This is actually the best time to buy Nigeria used vehicles at a very low price.

Injectors are not pulse width modulated, they are more like mechanical switches like that of relays.

yeah that is just it , it really affecting me now , all through the holiday i was using our company car and now that we have resume , i dont access the car again all the time.. so it really frustrating
