Henriie: Yesooo.. not a small thing ...Sorry for the late update,Today is just somehow.. had to go and rest in my hotel room before giving update. they finally allowed them in. Ethiopian Airline headquarters sent an approval. Before the approval was given an Ethiopian consular had to come to the check in counter and made sure they speak with their contacts... the contact for one them wasn't picking oo but the guy didn't blink. He said he must speak to someone at the address she gave. Finally thanks to God her contact called back and they were allowed in. We had to make sure they took off before we left the airport. The elderly and his daughter didn't have the patience, they went to ask for refund and told us they were going to use air Portugal to travel. Make sure your people or landlord or whatever contact number you kept picks your call. Apparently the fact you're a Nigerian, when they scan in your passport it brings a red and green on their system. It has to be all green before you will be allowed. If i may understand u.... Will Ethiopian airline fly person if he/she uses the said 14days in the 3rd country... |

chimax1: Guys please so advice will help. I have already received my study permit and have my flight initially scheduled for 17th Dec. In light of the looming travel ban that may be initiated especially with the omicron strain supposedly imported to canada by Nigerian Travellers, I reviewed my flight to this weekend. The thing is school resumes Jan 10th and my travel date is more than 4weeks which is the required travel time for students on IRCC website. Am i just being paranoid or is it still okay? I have completed one semester already in naija. Pls what is the financial implication |

Jay316: please if u are resuming in January and have gotten Visa, abeg book ur flight early.I am going to see if I can change the date of my flight cos countries are protecting themselves cos of this new Omicron variant. Indonesia just banned all flights coming from Nigeria. Other African countries have refused to close their borders to the southern African countries and so many countries will feel this "African variant " will spread quickly so if u can book ur flight b4 the real winter starts, book it.I have officially applied for leave from my company. I hope dec 20 is not too far...... |

SuomyNona: Sure, I stayed at an Airbnb for 5 weeks despite exempted from quarantine.
Airbnb with 28 days stay minimum tends to be cheaper. So I opt for one that is 4 minutes walk to the school and it helped with mobility and settling in before finding permanent accommodation. Pls how much did u pay for the 28days |

Dogalmighty17: What's wrong with that? Yes I understand that government scraping some agencies and merging others may lead to job losses. But let's face it, how effective has the federal civil service been anyway? Most of them are there just to collect salaries and nothing more. Deadwoods and redundant lots. A good number of these agencies already have duplicated functions. We must remember that it was under the government of Jonathan that the Steve Orasanye panel was set up and he came out with these recommendations. Government cannot continue to be the largest employer of labour. It exposes the society to a lot of structural shocks that could otherwise be avoidable. In a situation where recurrent expenditure is consuming over 70% of our budget as has been the case for the past 15 years, we can't expect much development. Government does not exist just to pay salaries. The civil service across the federal and state level have not shown themselves deserving of such a large chunk of our budgets. So who told u the saved money will be use for development, u better wise up, senate and reps consuming most of the country's revenue are left untouched, hissssssssss Doom coun3 |

Mikkymilli: First of all, you have to tell us your current name first and secondly, the name you want to change it to. Why do you wanna change the name? Is it affecting you negatively? Do people use it to insult you like Edward (Headward), otutu boy yoyo, or is your name Dick like my grandfather? Answer all questions. Lol |
