matrixme:
Owerrians that are supposed to be the most enlightened sets among the Igbo's are here engaging in a show of shame to express their displeasure at the governor's attempt to modernise their city.
If not for Rochas hardwork, Owerri would have been as disgusting and unplanned as Onitsha or Aba. Rather than invoke the good spirits to keep supporting him, they want their wives to keep selling their ukwa and ugba on the roadside.
You can force a horse to the river, but definitely can't force it to drink!
with this single action I have confirmed that Owerri people are disgrace. Ekeoha market Aba was relocated to what is called Ariaria international market today without giving them proper buildings, TA Orji relocated Umuahia main market from ishi gate to a far and interior village, ubani. Nobody complained or resisted the relocation. why must everything Rochas does must be turn to politics? Is Douglas road good the way it is today?
Many people has asked for the relocation of that market so as to give Douglas road and environs a facelift.

Why should some uninformed try to stop government development? These people should allow Rochas, this thing is becoming too annoying.

Let the egbema communities that were seceded to Rivers state be returned to IMO state and let at least two local govts be given to cross river from akwa ibom since the people of the two states share similar culture and identity. Nigeria needs restructuring, I wonder how a right thinking government will secede 170 oil wells from cross river state to Akwa ibom that has more than 100,000 oil wells. Some LGAs in Akwa ibom, Rivers and Delta should be given to nearby states so as balance wealth distribution. there's wide margin.

Inspect all you went, no elections in Anambra.
Oga not only in Anambra but in all the southeastern states and beyond. I have observed Nigerian politics of recent days and found out that the Igbo leaders are no. 1 problem of the Igbos. They swore the oath of allegiance to protect lives and properties of their subjects while their subjects are the most killed people in Nigeria in every crises be it religious, political, regional and ethnic.

Igbo cant be using their hands to select their killers, people who can not protect or defend them in event of problem, people who failed to recognize that you must count your people 1st before any other interest, people who individually eye the seat of presidency and play slavery service to anybody on the seat while their people are deprived the basic necessities. And we say no more. They must serve the punishment, so that people that will be on the seat tomorrow will know that our blood weigh more than treasure and will not fail to defend it.

I supported two party system in Nigeria and was in full support of APC though I lost hope in federal level when the party filed Buhari because I knew too well that GEJ is far better than him. But was supporting and praying that APC wins the state level so as to make federal government to seat up. People saw me here defending Rochas of Imo state, campaigning for Ngige of Anambra and and candidate Chibuike Amechi will support.

Chai, my all hope was lost when I read that my people who were protesting (because they lost fate in a country that has never catered for them or treated them as real citizens), or praying in school grounds were shot with live bullet to death for no just cause and the so called leaders could not say anything or even tried to condemn it. This same Obiano was the one that said something to justify the military action.

Before soldiers and police started killing our youths they gave warning which I expected our governors and senators to caution then and tell them to allow them to handle the matter since it was their people that are involved just the Northern Elders Forum dared police to arrest anyone that gave the Igbo quit notice when police were given the directive by Kaduna state governor and up to today no single arrest has been made. This single action has shown me that in this country, some are the main citizens while others are contract citizens.

Igbo have suffered tremendously in a country they contributed almost 60% in building and there is no gain in denying this. It's audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.

let's see who the ignoramus and illiterate here:

1. Niger state : 29,484 mi²

England : 50,301 mi² (note England is not the same as the UK in case you did not know)

SE (abia +Anambra+Ebonyi+enugu+Imo) = 9446 mi²

2. Biafra will be landlocked since the SS states are all saying they well not part of Biafra, the Efik released a statement the other day, the Rivers people also did citing their experience during Biafran occupation in 67-70 and saying never again and now the urhobos, so where is your access to the sea? anything you make, you have to go through the SS or the rest of Nigeria to export.

3. The North has not exploited it's resources but the resources of the north (not to talk of it's agric potential) far outweighs the South East. In agriculture, 85% of Niger state is arable, it means Niger state alone has 3 times the agricultural land of the whole of the south east . You might do well also to google Nigeria's mineral resources by states before you start making ignorant comments.

Ibos failed to use their brains in 1966 and now they are behaving as if they dont even have one. I have never seen a people so hell bent on self harm, just so they can beat chest.
Yoruba ask God for forgiveness of sin and stop dwelling in it. You are blessed but the problem is that you have not discovered the direction of your blessing. You spend more time and energy being envious and jealous of other people's success than seeking for the direction of your blessing. You hate Igbos due to the success they have attracted, you hated Goodluck Jonathan and failed to support him due to the same envy, that how can a southern minority rule Nigeria twice including the late President Yar'adua remaining 2yrs.

My Yoruba friends have told me countless times that an Igbo man will not rule this country, that Igbos can not have the economic power and still want to hold political power. Economic power who gave them, is it not what they hustled on their own which is still open to everybody?

Yoruba repent from your sins because a jealous and envious man does not go far.

A humiliation that hav never been melted on any tribe b4. d other 2 major ethnicities (Hausa/Yoruba) hate u Ibos. minor ethnicities still dn't like u:ijaw, itsekiris, isoko. dey all denounced ur biafra with strong resentment especially d urhobos Na we hhate una pass especially me. I HHATE IBOs. ibos currently r d laughing stock of the federation. You want ur country? Ok now leave northern Nigeria n go to biafra U start beggi.ng. its such a shame to b identified as an Ibo. its sucks to bear names like; ikechukwu, obinna, chioma etc. they r now names of d laughing stocks. Its sucks to be U man... I only like fukking ur ibo gals red cunts.
The hatred is it out of bad character or out of envy of their uniqueness, progress and success. An Angas old women once told me that Ndigbo are hated and criticized due to a special aura Igbo has which normally attract people and praises to Igbo. That before civil war, any field you see an Igbo man he is seen as a civilised, special, educated and most intelligent person. And people will be walking up to him, both children, women and the old. so at a time people started becoming envious of this uniqueness. And Yorubas were 1st to start, they started convincing other Nigerians of the evil behind this uniqueness. Criticism against the Igbo here and there. Children of very tender age were told of how Igbo are bad and get too sense(a funny statement; who no get sense?). A child might be talking rubbish about Igbo as told by his parents not knowing that the person he sees as best uncle, best aunty or best teacher is an Igbo.

Yorubas exploited the 1966-1970 to reduced Igbo to nothing (poorest in Africa), taking ownership of all the wealth in Lagos and became the richest tribe in Africa immediately after the civil war. They took control of federal civil service and turned Igbo into a laughing stock.

Today, where are we? the same uniqueness is a special attribute and also their today's savior. God is always alive and will always make way for the oppressed.

Before now I did not believe in Biafra, but bro I'm living in the north and have now come to reality that Nigeria can never be united and progressive as kerosene and water can not mix.

A Muslim can never in life see a Christian as a true friend and allow him to rule over him because they believe you as a Christian is a paganist and have no right to exist. Atimes I question the rational behind this their shout for a united and indivisible Nigeria. Indivisible, yes the call might be true, but United, are we sure the Muslims will ever allow this country to be united?

Their leaders know the truth but are shying away from the truth. I as a Christian have forced myself on them, preached oneness and unity but to no avail. I am afraid!

I still ask, what is the rational and reason behind this their one and indivisible Nigeria. Oga, we need to be very wise and drop the seed of discord sowed into us the southerners by them.

Their religion is very good as it preaches strong unity among them but is it good for someone to judge you and the way you worship your God?

This is a voice of a Christian from the North.

please, Igbo should be allowed to go since 98% of them are Christian.

The Urhobo Progress Union Youth Wing Press Secretary has added his voice to the recent denouncements of Biafra by minority groups in the South-South region. This denouncement is against the idea being peddled by IPOB and other Biafran secessionists groups that the South-South and non-Igboid minority groups are parts of Biafra. It can never be stressed enough that these minority groups, especially the Urhobo, share nothing in common with Igbos except for proximity with the Anioma people with whom they share a state. Igbos have their own cause, as the Urhobos also do. The common issue of marginalisation is not enough for the Biafran secessionists to force uninterested groups into their prospective nation. What more? This denouncement of Biafra was first done by UPU (the apex socio-political organisation in Urhobo) in 2014 and yet the wishes of Urhobos to be left alone from the Biafran secessionist plans have not been respected. What more proof is needed that IPOB and other Biafran secessionist groups that they don't respect the wishes of minorities? Let's hear from the horse's mouth:

This is not necessary as nobody is forcing anybody. There will be referendum please any group that is not interested can kindly vote NO.

Yes we agree that Igbo has nothing in common with the Urhobos just that we are neighbours. And please stop seeking for relevance where you can not find it. Last time I checked I observed that Urhobo, Itsekeri and Isoko have been removed from the map. so why this your continuous unnecessary noise making?

Get this at the back of your mind Great Biafra is not begging anybody to join. Igbo of south South and south east alone can make a great country talk more of when you add the ever hardworking people of Ibibio, Efik, Ekoi and Annang and fearless and outstanding great people of Ijaw, Ogoni and Andoni.

We blame our leader, Nnamdi Kanu for this steady insult on the reputation and sensibility of great Igbo nation by insignificant groups who are seeking unnecessary attention.

Lastly, Urhobo this your insult has become too much can't you see or hear the proponents of Biafra restoration calling for referendum to know the constituent ethnic nationalities that are comfortable to be part of the new country.

And it was said that it was some element of your tribe that approached them and asked them to add your group to the proposed new country just like the Idoma and Igala and that is why they are insisting on referendum to ascertain if your people were properly consulted.

Ask yourselves why they failed to include the Binis, the Esans, and the Tivs. The reason is that no element from this neighboring groups approached them for them to be included in the map.

Urhobo join hands with other minorities and seek for Niger Delta Republic you will see how ndi Igbo will overwhelmingly support you. We've been supporting you before now and will continue to do so. We are minority friendly unlike other largest ethnic groups of Nigeria. We supported your 13% derivatives even appealed for increment to 21%, We supported your youths for amnesty, we supported you for total resource control and also supported a man from your neighboring minority group which we are suffering the implication today.

We are hated in Nigeria out of envy against our success but supporting Goodluck Jonathan worsened everything. But we are not regretting it because:
1) we see a better, learned and rational person in GEJ and we cant leave our neighbour and support another person who believe that we dont have right to exist because we are christians and he and his people have never supported us.
2) Nigeria has never catered for Igbo man and has nothing to offer to ordinary Igbo man on the street who struggle to cater for his need and that of his family. But our anger and regret is our youths who were murdered in the streets of Asaba, Onitsha, Aba and Portharcourt by this man out of anger that my people did not give him vote.

Urhobo please it's been long we said bye bye to each other on the issue of Biafra so I beg you in the name of God to stop making public caricature with Igbo image just to gain political relevance to APC led government.
You made this your pronouncement in 2015 twice, 2016 and you are still repeating it in 2017. To you, is it not sounding childish? Itsekiri sounded more mature by saying hers once and since then has been silent. A word is enough for the wise especially the intelligent Igbos, you don't have to shout it for 50 times before it will be heard.

You dont reason well friend. You dont need a Biafran army to take out the oil fields, you need a few militants here and there. That is what happened last time before Buhari calmed down and sent the junior Minister of Petroleum to seek peace. I do not like people threatening other trbes. I just pointed out that if this war you people are promoting was to happen, then Nigeria will never be the same again. The only thing keeping the country together is oil wealth. That is what makes our politicians disagree to agree. Let us not preach war. Cos a few dynamites here and there and we are all becoming like Somala. The SS/SE havent benefited much from oil so they will go about their normal ways of life after the war. There are sections of this country that cant even survive without allocation for 3 months.

Better to preach peace. Nigeria cant win a war against Biafra any more.

If it was war alone then it's a small issue but the truth is that such war will be preceded by ethnic cleansing on all fronts.
leave him, he thinks 1967 is 2017. Ojukwu was too soft and was a cryer. Today Igbo bloods are boiling nobody will use the statement "they are bombing my people" again rather it will sound like "they bombed just Aba and Oron and I reacted by sending my fighters to bomb Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Niger, Oyo, Ogun Osun and Lagos so judge it". Action and Reactions equal and opposite.

If any war breaks out its going to be more like suicidal and payback war, people will fight to die not to live. When Egyptian pilots on federal side were bombing civilians the Portuguese pilot on Biafra side asked Ojukwu should I go to Kano and bomb their civilians back, Ojukwu said no thinking that he will used the scenerio to get more sympathy from the then world powers who were on Nigerian side, but all of them paid deaf ear to Biafran plight, so a lesson has been learnt from that and won't repeat itself. Forget about the noise the northern elites are making and how Biafran elites are keeping quiet, a dog that bites does not bark.

Nobody should pray for war rather a peaceful disintegration as this nation can never be united based on studies I've conducted. You can't stay with people who believe that you have no right to exist, people you hate you because you don't have same religion with them and are still passing the hatred to their young children and children unborn, people who believe that they are the only ones who have right to kill. But if anybody wishes war so be it, but let's not forget that this time around everybody is going to feel the impact. it's not just going to be happening in one or two areas.

We fought a brutal war and the reason of the war has not been corrected so why should we keep quiet, are we goats? we've been handled for many years as the loser of the war and 2nd citizens so we want to stand on our feet and say NO to marginalisation and discrimination.

Urhobo Origin Account and Datelines

The account:

This is the account (presented further below in datelines) of the origin of Urhobo: his ancestors and his descendants, and the lands that they dwelt in; and the years of their births and migrations.

Urhobo descended from Akadianose(h) (pronounced, Akadiano-osseh), also called Accad) the son of the short-lived priest-king of Babel, Eki (Enki) (also known as Enkiroh or Nimrod).

Urhobo’s father was Alka who was born in (U year) BC 2003. He was the son of Isi-oboh.

Isi-oboh was born in BC 2093. His father was Va-edo(h), also called Waedo(h).

Va-edo(h) was born in BC2152 by Akadianose(h).

From Akadianose(h) to Urhobo was five generations. (Akadianose(h) although a Black had his origin from Oyibo, the White race. His own ancestry/genealogy and dates will be considered at the end of the account herein given of Urhobo genealogy, descendants, migrations and dates.)

Urhobo’s siblings were Kai-neh (otherwise called Aka), Isi-yan (otherwise known as Isan or Ishan); Isi-oko (Isoko), a female. They were of one mother. He had other half–sisters: Uku-ani (Kwale) and Ika-ra-derra (Ika) who were sisters, born of the same mother, and Kairoh and Ay-ga-ra (Igarra) whose mothers were different; and half-brothers of whom had different mothers: Isi-yon (Izon), Horre-igbo (Igbo), Ava-sa (Hausa) and Oyoro-oba (Yoruba). Kai-neh’s son was Ubini (Bini, Benin); Ubini was the father of Hyksos Kiyan (Kaiyan) who also ruled Egypt before Hyksos Nefer-edoh (born in BC 1797) of Urhobo lineage overthrew him.
Story for the kids. Igbos and Ijaws are not related in any way. Igbos might be related to Urhobo, Beni, Isoko and Ishan but not with Ijaw. Most Igbos are fair while Ijaws are dark in complexion.

Intermarriage, trading and living in the same geographical area do not entail relationship and same origin as you were trying to put here. Igbos and other groups in south south and Benue state migrated from east while the Ijaws migrated from sierra leone. Totally different from the rest.
