Yenagoa – A 26-year-Old man has reportedly stabbed his 18-year-old girlfriend in a hotel room in Yenagoa.The man took to his heelswhen the wailing of the victim attracted the attention of other guests in the guest house who came to her rescue.The victim was identified as Miss Faith PiusThe guest house is located at Biogbolo area of Yenagoa.One of the guests told NAN that the suspect escaped when other guests and residents in the neighbourhood rushed to the scene.The source, who pleaded anonymity, said the incident happened on Friday night.NAN gathered that Pius was rushed to a private clinic where she was treated and the wounds stitched.“But she developed complications on Saturday and she died on Sunday morning,’’ the source said.The state Police commissioner, Mr Amba Asuquo, who confirmed the incident, said it was first considered as a caseof assault occasioned by harm.“Initially, it was treated purely as a case of assault occasioned by harm but now that the girlhas died, we are now treating a case of murder against one suspect.“We are in the process of ensuring that the suspectis arrested because after committing the crime he ran away.“I know some people are associating it to ritual killing but we cannot conclude,” he said.Youths of Biogbolo community took to the streets to protest the death of the girl from knife cuts allegedly inflicted on her by her lover boy.The youths were said to have attacked shops and vandalised vehicles reportedly owned by the kinsmen of the lover boy along some streets in the area.It took the intervention of detachments of riot policemen to disperse theaggrieved youths.The incident caused panic as residents run in different directions while operators of business outfits closed shop and fled.Stephen Pius, an elder brother of the victim, alleged that the suspect cut his younger sister twice each in her stomach and her heart region.

This was exactly what orji uzor kalu was doing in his first term, coating all manner of road's and publicizing it to the point where shortsighted so called Nigerian professional organizations​ started dishing him all manner of award's, he was given the title of "Action Governor".

This fraudulent strategy earned him a second term and right before your eyes, those coated road's started transforming into gully's, pond's, swimming pools, canals and rivers e.g folks Rd, cemetery market Rd, ariarria market Rd deserves a metaphysical investigation , PH road is more like Somalia.

some of the roads Orji Uzor Kalu constructed in flood prone Aba and Umuahia are still standing today. Before the inception of Orji Uzor Kalu regime there was no single road in Aba because no military dictator or Ogbonnaya Onu constructed or reconstructed any road in Aba. What Orji Uzor Kalu did was general overhaul of Mbakwe's roads and constructed new roads like umule road, umuocham road, Ekenna, cemetery, old express, Mcc road, okpulor umuobo etc. But today since it was Mbakwe that 1st worked on Aba people are attributing all the success to him forgetting the impact of Orji Uzor Kalu just because they want to kill his presidential aspiration.

Orji did very well during his time and Okezie Ikpeazu is taking the same way and we are appreciative of his work. He's constructing solid roads which is visible to the blind and audible to the dalf. thanks

Truth be told Nigeria has dealt with the Igbos in so many ways but the have survive it all because of their resilience and hard work. Before the war Nigeria as country knows the Igbos was in the helm of things and it give them a lot of nightmares that was why they gave them twenty pounds but they survived in flying colors.
