EASTSIDAZ: Does that fool called (B2-mario) knows that entire Abia state is a slum and a major disgrace to the SE? grin
my dear learn how to think and act rationally. Your arguement is always baseless without fact, it's always based on assumption, ie what you think that is!

Over to you. No name calling please I'm neutral here and just want to learn.

N/B: I agree with the topic, Enugu is d pride of the east who no like am make e go hug wet transformer grin grin
my brother you can be funny! You listed even rev. fr, footballer and musicians among your state great achievers. I know this was the thing you anambrarians was waiting to do that's why you've been derailing this thread but it's bad of you, bear in mind that pride goes before a fall, in the then eastern region it was umuahia and then majority of medical doctors from the east were from afikpo but now what's the status of these 2 places. Please this thing make no sense, and bear in mind that things do rotate, as it's today is not how it will be tomorrow, no state in igboland doesnt have names that match these mentioned above but they dont count these. It's only anambrarians that love showing or pronouncing the achievement of their people without thinking of how to make their own. In terms of individual riches in igboland, we know that anambra comes 1st followed by imo, abia, enugu and ebonyi but take this, there's no much gaps among them, they all have wealthy men that come from their regions. In the names you listed above, it's only few i know and most of them are old who will soon face-off from this earth, so if another person from another state will list like you, you'll see that your comment makes no point. Please our brothers, anambrarians, in SE enugu is the finest city followed by owerri, umuahia, abakaliki, abiriba, aba, onitsha, awka, orlu, nsukka, okigwe then nnewi or ohaofia, afikpo. In terms of population anambra comes 1st again, in terms of development both in rural, imo comes 1st followed by anambra and abia. We all are travellers and should not hide the truth and we are all igbos and should apreciate the effort of each other be it abia, imo, ebonyi, enugu or anambra or even the unborn sixth state of igboland.

Odunnu: I think Obi is trying. I was at Akwaeze last month and if I wanted to sleep and drive, it wouldnt have been a big deal. Ok! Thats his LG I hear, but generally, he's doing something cheesy Its that Abia dude I still dont know what he's up to.
that man is doing well more than peter obi oooo, only that pple hate him and dont want to support any good thing from him. Please visit Abia without bias mind then compare it with your state. Abia is far neater than anambra and NDDC is also trying for the state. And Aba and umuahia is well planned and advanced than onitsha and awka, lets be sincere for once, then Abiriba is a small london. Pls permit me to open a thread on umuahia, then Aba and abiriba. I'll show both the good and bad just like spyder.

fagin1982: Ohakim replies Rochas: ‘I left N13.5bn for completion of Oguta Wonder Lake project’

Former governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedim Ohakim has said out of the N18billion bond obtained from the capital market and tied to the construction of the Oguta Wonderlake Resort, N13.5billion was left behind by his administration for the completion of the project.

In the wake of the highly publicised plans by Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State to probe Ohakim, more disturbing revelations are finding their way to public domain. Apparently unmoved, the former governor of the state made the disclosure yesterday during the public presentation of the book, “Democracy by military tanks” written by Dr. Ethelbert Okere.

He tasked Governor Rochas Okorocha on transparency and integrity. Ohakim stated that out of the N18billion bond obtained from the capital market and tied to the construction of the Oguta Wonderlake Resort, N13.5billion was left behind by his administration for the completion of the project. Said he: “Last week when I paid a visit to the site of the Oguta Wonderlake Resort, I was shocked to find the place overgrown by weeds and the N13.5billion no where to be found.”

He informed the audience that a similar project was started by Governor Godswill Akpabio’s predecessor, yet Akpabio completed it and the same facility had given work to over 3000 natives of the state. “Landmark projects and initiatives must not be allowed to suffer on the altar of primitive politics.” The book presentation was well attended by political bigwigs, royal fathers and women groups in the state. DAILYSUN
are you sure he left or Rochas forcefully froze all imo accounts immediately he was declared winner? My man we all know ohakim too well, he would have licked imo treasurey dry if he was allowed to have access to imo account after his lost before leaving that imo douglass house.

chino11: This is Tony Ezenna Road @ prestigious Onitsha Harbour. Anambra state government named its after your son who invest billions of naira in Anambra. This road leads to his plant, one can even see the massive Orange Drugs facility/plant down the road.
hehehehehe, this man/boy so you are not shameful. After making mouth that imolites are poor and have no much investment in anambra state, you are still exposing your yassh by posting this picture showing that the only good road in onitsha is fixed by imo man. My friend please be calculative not too emotional!

@ PROUD IGBO, that road is Aba-owerri at Aba immediately after osisioma junction. So is neither owerri nor umuahia. I would love to open a thread about fine places in umuahia like the govt. layout, aguiyi ironsi layout, agbama housing estate, ehimini housing estate, govt. house axis, but my problem is how to upload pix to NL with my laptop.
Instead of arguing about which state is the most beautiful in the south east why not argue about the economic viability of the state ? As far as i am concerned the entire south east needs to invest heavily in Agriculture , Fuel depots , Power (Electricity) and security . These four things would make the economic balance of Nigeria swing in the direction of the south east. Showing pictures of how beautiful your state is doesn't change the fact that the youths in the south east are unemployed neither does it change the fact that fuel pump price in the south east is one of the most expensive in the entire country .
Enyi ya forget about the issue of unemployment of youths in the SE, as igbos let them hustle and make it out of their sweats like their fathers instead of relying on govt which is pure laziness
Just wait till 2015 to see the monster you ibos created. No ibo will be allowed to print a poster in south west, and we must also deliver 98% votes to party of our choice.
who cares, why are you tiring your pants just because of nothing? Is it because you are born a yorubaman, my dear in your next world do you know where you might be going, it might be igbo, nupe or even niger. So dont kill yourself with things of this world because you will soon go and dont pass this your hatred of igbos to your children so that this mess will end with this generation.
Politics › Re: MASSOB Has Outlived Its Usefulness- Comrade Agbaigba by B2mario(m): 1:09am On Aug 19, 2013
i totally agree with him, massob has not be helping matter in the quest of igbo contest. They always prevent any chances from which igbo voice could be heard loud, just as they did in 2006 census forgetting that politics is a game of number, how can they be seeking for independent without knowing that larger population can attract UN attention and consideration. That their 2006 census BOYCOTT policy really affected SE making it to be the region with least population in nigeria. Look at Aba and Onitsha which are densely populated had only 839000 and 548600 respectively simply because many people were not counted indicating that it was massob instructions. Please in this forthcoming 2016 population and housing census(PHC) igbos should come out enmass and support it for the benefit of all.
