DerideGull: It was not Sanusi Lamido Sanusi that publicized the alleged letter, olodo.
Whatever, I'm glad someone leaked it.
Politics › Re: Senate Probes Alleged Missing $49.8 Billion by ba7man(m): 5:51am On Dec 14, 2013
DerideGull: You are a bloody dunce. The essence of coping the letter to the Minister of Finance and the Director of NNPC is to place them on notice. I guess now the letter has been made public, it helped the looters hid their bounties. USA operates one of the transparent governments in the world yet it has classified repositories, olodo.
Place them on notice when there's a big possibility of them being involved??

Do you think Billions of Dollars goes missing in this Country or 100,000's of Barrels of Oil is bunkered illegally without the Presidency not being aware or being involved??

I personally know a Government official that did a major investigation concerning fraud in a Government parastatal.

During his investigation, he discovered that the fraud went up as high as the Federal Minister. When he compiled his findings, he sent them to his superiors to act on it.

They patted him on the head, rewarded him with a lump sum and wanted to lodge him in a luxury hotel (Which he turned down for the fear of his life) and told him his work was done.

This is Nigeria. You have been away for too long to know what goes on.

DerideGull: I have problem with manner and tone of the alleged letter from Governor of CBN to President of Nigeria. The channeling of the letter lacked professionalism required of people manning sensitive position of a country. If Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was not up to a sort of political mischievousness, he would have copied Minister of Finance and Director of NNPC. Nigerians talk and yarn about transparency from their government yet failed to question the intention of dubious letter from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

There are certain documents on government transactions that are not meant for public consumption. So you should be advised to forget the idea of seeing such documents unless you have some forms of clearance from the government.

Look pal, Nigeria is not a nation and needs to be restructured. I am for any probe that will expose all facts and any party found delinquent should be summarily dealt without reservation.
First you talk about transparency from the Government, then you follow up by saying some documented information should be hidden from the public..............the ones they've hidden from us that has wrecked this nation isn't enough, abi??

So SLS should have directed the letter to the Minister of Finance and Director of NNPC so that they'll further hide how they loot this Country, right??

Or you don't think its proper we should know so that we'll vote out the structure that gave birth to these monsters??

You're stuck in the 70's. We need less people like you in this Country.
Politics › Re: Senate Probes Alleged Missing $49.8 Billion by ba7man(m): 5:02am On Dec 14, 2013
Abeg, leave story. I suspect SLS exaggerated the missing amount of money but he's exposed the shady dealings in high places in the process.

I'm loving the fact that the letter was made public to the common man first, rather than the Minister of Finance and Director of NNPC who might already be involved and will only end up hiding its contents.

If that's what SLS did, we might not have heard of such happenings. Freedom of information so we the people have a right to know too.

I heard a past Governor once slapped GEJ.........I was so angry when i heard.

But years after, I'm begining to see reasons to why he deserved to be slapped back then.

DerideGull: You are really an intellectual midget. What concerns me with Peter Obi’s dress code? The moronic Babatunde Fashola is launching a government factory and has would-be workers wearing costumes with silly inscription that were apparently sourced by means of political patronage. Yet, a moronic lapper such as you has effrontery to spew crap.
@ Agbameta has given you a reply that's your exact size above.

You better slow down and relax, Heart Attack is real, you're no longer young.

BTW, is it a graduation?..........Yes or No.

If the answer is "YES" what would you prefer they wear??

You better face your Village and worry about what the Governor is doing to improve their lot.

DerideGull: @OP

Nigerians are topnotch at corruptible practices. Who got the contract to produce the worthless regals and aprons scripted with “Eko Oni Baje oo” and worn by those nepotistic beneficiaries?
This @deridegull is concrete evidence that maturity is not a function of age.

Instead, You should ask who got the contract of that ugly, green outfit Peter Obi and his cohorts have been wearing since with faces plastered on the knees like "knee guards".

Is it me or do the people supporting T.A Orji on this thread sound Mechanical, void of emotions, vague and their posts seem like TV adverts or Computer generated posts??

Eg "T.A Orjii has been a blessing to the State. He's kind, Humble, Hardworking and is working hard to move the State Forward. God bless Ochendo"...........it makes me wanna ask "How"huh Because sharing Tokunbo cars that can't be used commercially isn't one.

Their posts sound "Paid for"..............I may be wrong sha.

God uses Men to uplift his chosen ones.............and uses Men to bring them down.

superstar1: The bane of Ibos has always been, they are politically naive and inept.

You own 40% of mine in a volatile and unstable country like Nigeria. That is 40% high risk you are carrying, in case you dont know. I dont know why the analytical skills and intelligence level of omo y1bos are generally below par with people in Torah Bora mountain.

you are meant to learn from past experience, but alas, you have not. Mind you, history repeat itself and even in a more deadlier way.

This time around, we wont be has generous as the last time. Bet that with me.
Do you truely belive 4 out of every 10 houses in Lagos belong to an Igbo man??

Its the lies their relatives tell them on how they've bought all the houses in Lagos back home in the east they come to spew online.

Even all those renting houses now own them according to their reasoning.

FreeGlobe: Ngozi Adichie is not even a musician, I hope you understand that. She is celebrated in her field the reason Beyonce saw and acknowledged her. Beyonce does not know Asa or Femi Kuti, her fellow musicians.
Guess what she used all her igbo names on the album which will be sold worldwide. The album will definitely win a Grammy making Ngozi Adichie Nigeria's first Grammy winner. Igbos are not your match boy. you can only hate. grin grin
How has that improved your current situation?

ichidodo: Frustrated soul pray tell who owns the American Economy? The Jews right? But they never get to or want to govern the country likewise The igbos are engine room of the Lagos Economy and given their republican tendencies would surely forfeit political power for Economic power ofcourse at the same time maintain both Economic and Political power in their homelands as well.I could say we own 100% of our Land but own 40% of the choicest yoruba real estate, now i sense where your pain is coming from
You've started with this your "Percentage" thing againhuh

40 percent of Lagos........... 60 percent of Abuja, 100percent of S.E............20 percent of USA..........etc

Judging from your past posts on this forum, I can say you've lost 100 percent of your credibility.............and sanity.

What was written about GEJ, is it true or false?

If its false, GEJ should defend himself by adressing the issue and take actions against OBJ and co..........If its true......people should do the needful.

Chylo: I can swear that I have always argued that our climate is a serious limiting factor to our development. I posed a question to someone once, name one country that experiences a proper winter that is not developed to a large extent. The person was silent. I think the heat messes with our brains, and does not favour FDI cos foreigners cant stand it.

I proposed then that air conditioning systems in Africa (everywhere possible - schools, offices, buses even bus-stops eventually) was not a luxury but a necessity to development, and I still stand by it. Think about it, anywhere there is AC, don't you notice people behave calmer? Food for thought.
What should the people in the U.A.E and Saudi now say??

Let me alert the Moderators to move this thread to the trash bin its supposed to be.

He's had opportunities to send out strong signals against corruption but he chose to ignore.

To get this car cheap, wait for a year or 2, purchase the used V-6 version since depreciation would have set in but you'll still have a barely "ran-in" car.

You might end up with it on your doorstep for no more than N7million (That's if G.E.J doesn't increase the import tarrif).

People that drive Bentley GT coupes will never tell you how much they got it but it doesn't cost as much as you think.

On the side, I heard a guy once flew his Ferarri into Nigeria at a cost of N10 million.

I always find it hard to believe that you're elderly.

You didn't grow up..............You grew down. Its evident in how you reason.

I'll excuse some people that agree or talk like you because they're young or immature but you have no excuse.
All Ijaw need to do to bring Nigeria to its knees is simply to destroy all the oil facilities in the land and sea. Which you know will be objective number 1 after GEJ. grin
That would be a very stup1d move to make.

That's like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

After that, The Niger Delta will become one of the worst man made disasters ever witnessed. The Air, land and Water pollution that will result from this action will kill millions and visit hardship on anyone that chooses to remain behind.

The clean-up process alone will become a full time job for the Nation that emerges out of the creeks.

...........That's if the Warlords and millitants don't turn on themselves first and start fighting over oil rich territories.

Won't end well...........the resulting refugees will now troop to the west again.

all4naija: First and foremost, the OP never said it is a V8.

Secondly, brand new 2014 Range Rover V8 supercharged cost $92,621 (in USA including all costs. Fright, insurance and others) that is =N= 14685059.55 (=N=14.7m) - =N=15m(your claimed amount) you have =N= 300,000. You only need little to add to that for the clearance. The shipping is not going to be more that =N=1m and the profit is supposed not to be more than =N=2m. There is bogus =N=4m rip-off. That is for the V8. That is an inflated rough estimate. Those ones on the OP images aren't even new in the first place. Those are auctioned cars for a little amount from the developed countries.

On the final note, I don't know how the shipping, clearance and the profit will amount to =N= 8.2m for the v8 you are alluding to here. That is more than 35% of the total cost of that vehicle. Huh!

I don't know why you are supporting the inflated price though.

Thank you.

I'm not supporting his inflated price. As a matter of fact, its the Big Range Rover V8 that costs as much as N23million.

I just gave a hint so that people can independently do their calculations without hearing it directly from me.
