Bulldog: I must say what you lack is not just in 'standing by your words', but also in making coherent comparisons. Why? My grandfather can't question my father's use of the fund he didn't raise. And secondly, the money for my education as in your analogy is still not my money even though it's meant for me smiley . I hope you are seeing how sublime your incoherency could get.

Neither obj nor GEJ made any revenue for nigerians. To rephrase your analogy and put it as it should be in context:
if you saved money for your education and someone stole it, then your grand father said your father stole it and used it on prostitutes, orgies, gambling etc to your hearing. The right thing your father should do is to deny the accusation and demand the proof of his allegations right there before you just like your grand father did. It will be then left for you to ask your grand father to provide the proof to support his claims

so my friend, knowing how a leader should respond is no rocket science but plain logic. And to be a leader you dont need to be a politician. All you need is to be WISE, HONOURABLE, and TO ALWAYS STAND BY YOUR WORDS AND NOT BE A CHAMELEON
So you think this whole letter writing thing is supposed to be a face-off between OBJ and GEJ while you cheer on on the sidelines??

You don't even know you're part of the main people that deserves the explanation......not OBJ.

You don't even know what the moral obligations of a father is to not understand that he owes his children and not the grandfather the explanation since they were present.

How is it supposed to pan out?? They start exchanging accusations in the presence of the children??

You think "Responsibility" is an Ego trip??

Bulldog: if your neighbour slaps your face and you went to his village and started slapping his kins men, what does that make you? You dont even have a word to stand on cos you are no different from those confused PDP chieftains without honor that think jumping from one party to the next solves any problem
If your grandfather accuses your father of spending the money meant for your school fees on girls and alcohol in your presence, will you wait to see how your dad would reply him............or wait for your dad to explain the truth to you??

You don't even have a full understanding of how leaders should react.

Mirroring OBJ's actions of replying the letter in return is a petty reaction. He's supposed to organize a press confrence highlighting each accusation and disproving it to the citizens while ignoring O.B.J...........not exchange letters with O.B.J like 2 market women that have just discovered the art of letter writing.

BTW, I'm not a fan of either and i'm not about to start cheering for one because he's my kinsman.

Sincere 9gerian: I consider your post on this thread very unfortunate. How do we reconcile your post with the statement below, which you made prior to GEJ's rebuttal?

https://www.nairaland.com/ba7man/posts/1
What is clear is that you and other APC e-warriors are perpetually looking for faults to use against GEJ and sustain the barrage of attacks on him. This is why many people believe that the hatred you and other APC e-warriors have for GEJ is born out of tribal bigotry and nothing more.
I mean G.E.J should adress the Nation!!!.......(U and I), not O.B.J.

What's going on is just a bunch of crooked people accusing each other on crimes they're all guilty of in letters.

G.E.J should be adressing the Nigerian Citizens on the contents of the letter to set it straight .......not replying O.B.J for us to rate his reply.

I still stand on my words.
Politics › Re: Rate/describe Jonathan's Reply To Obasanjo by ba7man(m): 10:48am On Dec 23, 2013
OBJ, G.E.J and Iyabo Obasanjo are all daft........I don't take sides with daft people because I'll appear so too.

BTW. I'm sure people have noticed that everytime, G.E.J justs reads directly from a script given to him in an emotionless manner that show's he's not connected to what he's saying.

All their accusations and counter accusations have no meaning to me.

I know too much about cars to settle for less.

Politics › Re: Mass Defection To Hit PDP Again by ba7man(m): 8:45am On Dec 22, 2013
Femolacaster: They actually saw it coming, they only want those corrupt reps, senators, Governors (as stated by Gej adherents) to defect. U will see after Gej has completely sanitized Pdp, Pdp will now be a party of new bloods/technocrats: like Bode george, Tony anenih, Ibrahim mantu, Farouk lawan, Stella oduah, Adebayo akala, Alameisigha, Dimeji bankole, Theodor orji, Mohamed abacha et al.....
You forgot to add Evans Bipi and Nyesome Wike.

Some of the best new blood technocrats to emerge in recent times.
Politics › Re: VIDEO: Lagos Airport 3D Render by ba7man(m): 8:12pm On Dec 21, 2013
Magic Bishop: Yes it is killing me because you guys will turn around and claim that you built that airport from your pockets without regard for the actually funding source from the original layout and through to this concession to the little matter of which Minister was responsible for this initiative. Yes, that woman Stella Odua that you have all taken a full time appointment to discredit.

What all your Yoruba Ministers, PermSecs and Directors could not muster an Igbo woman has laid the foundation.
Why don't you blame Stella Oduah for not locating the New Airport in the S.E??

When i heard the FG wanted to build an Aeropolis (somthing like that) in Lagos, Abuja etc, I questioned why non was located in any S.Eastern city. At least, we all know Igbos import a lot of stuffs.
Politics › Re: VIDEO: Lagos Airport 3D Render by ba7man(m): 7:54pm On Dec 21, 2013
Magic Bishop: FG is wrong by still investing in that ingrate State!
Besides, no matter the infrastructure the Lagos Touts and criminals will forever make this the worst airport in the world.

Meanwhile, Fascist Fash and his APC band of frauds have and continue to defraud Lagos in their phantom Lekki Airport
Its killing you inside, abi?

Make Lagos matter no give u heart attack oo.

Chuksphil2go: If they like let them rate Kebbi,Sokoto,Ekiti,Oyo,Osun etc above Anambra State, one thing i know is that most the of my guys i left behind in Onitsha and Nnewi are car owners while some have started developingg thier plots of land according to thei needs.
Thier progresses may not be reflected on the said stats but yes these guys are doing well,if you paid a visit to thier shops you will know that they are on top of the game, not when you put stats to decieve some gullible poeple and overhype govt.
Am tired of all this bullshit stats of Nigeria being this and that while most people live in abject poverty or Lagos being this and that while more than 82% of the residents are superpoors, most living under dehumazing conditions ranging from slums, poor healtcare delivery, poor housing and lack of some basic social animities.

Its high time we stopped dwelling on all this oyibo cook up stats and move our nation foward...the stat that matters to every Tunde,Emeka,Adamu or Ejiro is "3square meal first"
E dey pain you say dem no rate Anambra??

Politics › Re: Onitcha Gra I And Gra Ii by ba7man(m): 10:04am On Dec 20, 2013
Abagworo: He is not comparing Onitsha with Lagos nor is he comparing Onitsha GRA with Eko Atlantic. He only wrote the truth that Anambra is the 2nd most densely populated State after Lagos.
True, I'm aware he's not comparing.

Its just that statement of the Onitsha GRA project being the largest construction project in the Country i was disagreeing with.
Politics › Re: Onitcha Gra I And Gra Ii by ba7man(m): 9:45am On Dec 20, 2013
Ikengawo: I have been looking at Google Earth lately and I realized the biggest construction project in Nigeria is actually in Onitcha!
Onitcha GRA I and GRA II are the two largest expansion projects in the country, I was surprised I hadn't heard about them till today.

Does anyone know about the GRAs? From Google Earth it looks like GRA I is nearly completely occupied. The streets are organized and neat the houses look residential.

I also wanted to note that Google Earth has revealed to me that the two most populace states are Lagos and Anambra. Rivers is probably a 2nd or 3rd, while Aba is the biggest city in SE now.

Here a pic i saved below
If this project was located in the SW, we would have taken photographs on ground of the location, its buildings layout and uploaded it online.

I still don't think its as large as Eko Atlantic tho.
Politics › Re: Tukur, Tambuwal, PDP Govs, Others Meet Over Defection by ba7man(m): 9:18am On Dec 20, 2013
Instead of nipping the discord early in the bud, PDP was bragging and being agressive to the Governors.

Now that its about coming around to bite their butt, they're holding peace talks.

The options left for PDP is to sacrifice G.E.J's presidential ambition for the Party's survival or swim against the tides of disintegration of the party.

I'm sure Gov Akpabio must have said some obnoxious statements to make the aggreived politicians shun reconciliation.

SMH for the choice of people G.E.J associates with, they'll end up pulling him down in the mud with their pride filled, crass utterances.

berem: Do you know when I joined nairaland, I was a die hard supporter of PDP and Jonathan. My earliest posts can prove it. But suddenly, things turned around when APC was formed and Buhari was a chieftain of the party so I decided to switch goals. Rochas increased my love for APC when he joined the party. The subsidy saga made me lose interest in PDP and Jonathan entirely. That was the main reason I withdrew my support for him. angry
Same here, prior to G.E.J's election i campaigned for him in my little way and i was actually happy he won. PDP or not.

But the New-year present he gave us in the abrupt removal of the fuel subsidy, the effect which we still can't see,.............. his slow reaction to the bomb blast deaths in the North,............ the statement "The Igbos are my pillars", The numerous cases of fraud exposed during his tenure that have been sucessfully buried............His claim of being helpless in the face of oil theft........,His inability to provide a solid direction for his party........His wife's excesses........... His obnoxious media/PR team etc have all changed my disposition towards his administration.

T9ksy: Abeg, someone should please ask Comrade Uchenna Madu where these kidnappers are coming from that necessitated his warning call to them to stay away from the SE? Is it SW or the northern part of the country. Typical of those from that part of the country. Always in denial even when the object of their denial is staring them in the face. The ant devouring your vegetables resides right within your damned vegetables.

So where does he want the kidnappers to go?

There is. I even have the pix on my phone but can't post it to conceal identities.

I also know the son of a popular Northern politician has one too. Saw the pix on his Instagram page.

BTW, if People drive Bugatti Veyrons in Nigeria, what's an Aventador?
