If PMB is serious about his anti-corruption agenda then he will never pick Wale Edun for anything. It's just as simple as that. The man has a very murky history of corruption. |
Wishing Madam Diezani soonest recover. After that we will recover all of our money that she has stolen and hidden away in other countries. |
Buhari is a honest man but he's not a very good politician. You don't come out in public and open your mouth to say everything the way you're thinking it, especially on issues like these. This was an unforced political error and hopefully he'll take it back and reverse his public statement. |
agitator:Nonsense. Adaka Boro was not eliminated. He died fighting as a soldier for Nigeria against Biafra. The Biafran side killed him in action at Ogu. Ikemba was not betrayed. He lost the civil war through a series of strategic mistakes and fled to Ivory Coast to escape the fall out. Ken Saro Wiwa was definitely judicially murdered by Abacha but he was a firm believer in one Nigeria and did not advocate for separatism. You need to learn the right lessons from history. All these efforts to resuscitate the Biafran project in the guise of Lower Niger struggles are dangerous and will not end well for anybody involved. |
transit4:Lol. What does Biafra have to do with this? The deal was negotiated with the Nigerian govt not Biafra. |
Max24:Na you be the mumu no be me. It was widely reported that President Buhari's 33 man delegation to the U.S. had no woman included. Oshiomhole's wife is on her own the federal govt is not paying for her. Maybe the Edo state govt is paying though. If you have any official documentation to prove me wrong pls show it and stop resorting to insults. Only fools resort to insults rather than giving a reasonable argument. |
Happiness87:But this isn't about fuel subsidy na. Oil bunkering and theft are illegal activities, fuel subsidy is legal. I supported the subsidy for many years but I think it has now outlived its usefulness. Also, I'm not a big fan of Tinubu. I like his political sense but I know he's one of Nigeria's biggest thieves. Unfortunately he is a very smart thief so proving a case against him in court will be very difficult. And Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has nothing to do with Oando, his cousin Wale Tinubu is a partner there not him. By the way, lovely profile pic. We should be friends. |
fr3do:Yes I expect every other tribe to stay as one Nigeria. Not everybody wants to break up the country like you, even many Igbos don't want Nigeria to break up. |
Happiness87:So you know how the oil is being stolen right? Maybe you are among the people doing the stealing, the leftover thieves from the Jonathan regime. They are the ones who stole Nigerians into poverty and continue to do so. But don't worry their time is up. Baba will soon flush all of those destiny destroyers out straight into Kirikiri. |
Mekybliss:So you are happy with that level of government stealing because it's in the past abi? If that money had been invested properly in the Nigerian economy maybe your country will be like Dubai by now. But it seems some Nigerians just prefer to keep on suffering sha. |
ForcefullBULL:The real question is who is paying for her trip? If her husband is paying then there is no reason why she cannot accompany him on the trip. Don't assume that the government is paying for her being there. |
fr3do:Why do you think the Scotland referendum failed? If Scotland had gotten independence from the UK then all the Scots living in England would have immediately been in legal limbo. Only an admission of Scotland into the EU would have resolved that problem which would have taken years. If Biafra ever becomes actualized then every Biafran citizen would be immediately subject to deportation. Non Nigerians do not have a right to live and work within Nigeria's borders without proper papers and immigration status same with any country. Only an admission of Biafra into ECOWAS would resolve that problem and Nigeria has the right to block any such move. Be careful what you wish for my friend. |
Whether you like him or not o, he's still your president for the next four years. |
DROGON:No. Since PMB became president all these nonsense are being exposed cos GEJ swept the rot under the rug. |
0key:Legally there is a big difference between saying "I wish something bad will happen to someone" and "I will do something bad to someone". I read the doctor's Facebook posts, he never said he would personally harm any Igbo person but he did anticipate something terrible happening to them. I'm not excusing what he said, it was very bad but definitely not illegal. I am fairly familiar with the US legal and medical regulatory system. They don't care about things like this and won't respond to it. |
WombRaiders:My ignorant friend, there is no law against hate speech in the US. Hate speech is also protected speech and it is allowed under American law. Also, Joseph Goebbels was not hanged, he committed suicide with his wife. You're mixed up about the facts because you're taking this issue too personally. You need to let it go. |
0key:The man lives and works in America where he has freedom of speech. He has broken no laws so any litigation will go nowhere. He hurt some Igbo feelings and stepped on some Igbo toes, but there is no law against that. People should stop wasting their time over this nonsense. |
carnegiefan:You first. Where is your own opinion poll among Igbo people about whether they want Biafra to secede or not? If there was to be such an opinion poll, I think you might be very surprised at the result. |
DROGON:Lol, guy even Eminem fit slap you for making that statement. If Tupac never existed, there would be no Eminem today. Fact. |
fx45:They never went away. Jonathan spent his entire six years as president serving them and sucking up to them. His final act as president was to write them an open letter reminding them of all what he had done for them and begging them to support his second term bid. Jonathan was just a figure head, the northern political system still pulled his strings. |
AdeniyiA:What if it becomes another Shekau? |
Jenams:My guy, all the money in that wheel barrow it cannot buy that wheel barrow. |
Freemanan:So until we can hold everybody that rigged responsible, we should not hold anybody responsible abi? How can a democracy move forward with that kind of thinking by citizens? |
VP Yemi Osinbajo has been more relevant at his post in twelve days, than VP Namadi Sambo was in five years. |
googlepikin:Do you have a copyright on God? |
Francis5:If anybody started to insult GEJ less than two weeks after he was inaugurated, I would have told them the same thing. Such insults are petty, irrelevant and useless. If he had performed well, nobody would have insulted him, but he chose to treat the presidency of Nigeria like somebody doing a part time job. If Buhari and Osinbajo end up failing at their new positions then insult them freely, and you will be right to insult them. But until then you are just a sore loser. Emphasis on LOSER. While you are busy insulting they will be working and will end up winning another term in 2019. Something GEJ failed to do. |
Ramnon2:You will NEVER in your sorry life achieve up to half of what Professor Osinbajo has achieved in his. Continue to insult a man who doesn't know or care whether or not you exist. He is the Vice President, and you are nobody on a faceless forum. |
fashoo2010:But did Saraki do that? Did he put Nigeria's interest first before his selfish ambition? Saraki has no good plans for Nigeria, only for himself and his friends. |
Please stop all this nonsense. You can't be locked out of a meeting that you're not supposed to attend in the first place. There is no country in the world where the Vice President is required to attend routine presidential security briefings. I have never heard reports of Joe Biden being "locked out" of Obama's routine security briefings with his CIA director. These kinds of meetings are one on one affairs. Even Namadi Sambo did not attend when Jonathan was being briefed. |
Pls people should stop spreading false information on this forum. The age of consent for sexual intercourse in Nigeria is 16 years. This bill does not change that in any way. Any person over 18 who has sexual intercourse with a minor under 16 is still guilty of statutory rape under this law. The bill goes further to say that if the victim is under 11 years of age then the offender is liable to a punishment of life in prison. That is what the Anyanwu bill does, it doesn't redefine the age of consent for sex. |
