So of what use has Jonathan been as President if some nameless and faceless people can make the country ungovernable and he is unable to do his job? The job of a President is never easy, there is no country that doesn't have challenges. Presidents are supposed to be able to rise above partisan issues and deliver, no excuses allowed.

It depends on the kind of sex they're having at the time. I don't think it's possible to have full sex while driving in traffic at the same time.

This is my second nairaland account and not my original just for the sake of this post and other stuff. I recently married this beautiful 24 years old Lady about 4 months ago. We married in a church and the wedding was great. Our honeymoon was also great.

She is always demanding sex.. When i say NO she would romance and seduce me so much that i have no choice but to give in up to 8 times a day. Especially weekends. The pastor is right, a married couple can have sex anywhere and at any time.

How can a newspaper publish a political advert without collecting their full payment first. What incentive is there to pay up if the person loses after? As obviously happened in this case.

Being the first lady is not a job, it is a ceremonial position. She doesn't need a work permit for that. She is from Cape Verde which is a member country of ECOWAS so she doesn't even need a residency permit. She can come and go as she pleases using her ECOWAS passport. If she wants a real 9 to 5 job though she will have to get a work permit.

That is simply impossible, the gold standard can never work in Nigeria. For one thing, Nigeria cannot access enough physical gold to back the naira. The total size of the Nigerian economy will be limited to the amount of gold it can potentially access which will be small. This will severely limit our economic growth because the total supply of gold is extremely limited and we won't be able to buy up enough gold.
Besides, the reason the gold standard was abandoned was because the global economy had outgrown it at the time. Gold is no longer a reliable commodity to use to back any currency because the price fluctuates too much and no country in the world currently relies solely on it.

Did you read through the piece? He talks about banning dollar transactions in the country and simply issuing more naira through the Central Bank. The points he raised can only be implemented by the federal government not states.

It depends on which part of Lagos he started trekking from. The man said he began his journey from Berger junction, that is more or less the border area of Lagos which is very close to Ibadan actually. He didn't start from the interior of Lagos and he definitely could have trekked from Berger to Ibadan in 13 hours.

Assuming that all the money Nigeria has ever earned since independence was saved up and never spent, it still would not be enough to do this. Besides there is a limit to what good government welfare can do. Just handing out money like that to families, especially such large sums of money is simply irresponsible.
